Owen Kenny's staff were immensely supportive in steering us through the numerous complications surrounding an ill relative's property. Their response was invariably swift and constructive, and they clearly had the knowledge and resources to offer solutions to all the problems that we encountered while trying to sort out our relative's property. We are very grateful.

Glacially slow; took days to respond to messages so never knew if matters were in hand; report mostly caveats to protect OK and very little specific to property - still had to wait weeks for it after searches came in; conveyancer left for holiday without liaising properly with other solicitors ; requested a 1 line letter to be able to use for an issue but never done because too busy ; yet managed to respond immediately with a lengthy email on a payment issue. Frankly never felt I had their full attention.

I was pleased with the level of communication and the overall service of competing my mother's estate, even though it was partly during covid, and some financial organisations were exceptionally slow in responding. Kayleigh made it easy and explained simply the things I did not understand. Overall, if I had done it all myself , it would have cost me tens of thousands of pounds more and several years longer!

Furthermore, the firm had served my mother well in much earlier drawing up her lasting powers of attorney ( at half the cost of my own done in Bedfordshire) and in writing her will. Thank you!

Divorce is an ugly business but many of my clients had used David Small at the Owen Kenny Partnership and with his 25 years plus experience felt he had represented them and provided an excellent, professional and extremely knowledgeable service. I contacted him and was immediately impressed with his calm and supportive approach. Through several turns and changes of the dynamics which most people going through this process will understand, he was so supportive all the way through the process and made life much calmer and less stressful. So my advice is If you want someone who will fight your corner and be supportive in addition to his years of valuable experience, this is your guy!
