Absolutely awful!! Customer service is surreal to say the least, they just don't care, not offer any solutions to very simple issues, close the chat on you, close tickets on you like they resolved everything when they just don't. Glad this happened at the very start, account creation step, so I can forget about them and just turn to an actual serious company. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN SANITY!

Frustrating
Frustrating trying to get pre-sales support, had to set up an account to ask a question - website is not informative, links go round in circles, no email to speak of, the chat took ages to connect only to be met with vague information (CS15218818) - even the email link to trustpilot didn't work. I tried to delete my account only to be sent an email stating 'Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we are unable to delete your account at this time' - OVHcloud are not a serious company.

Our experience with OVH has been confusing and frustrating. It appeared that on the OVH portal we could have a free RAM upgrade on our servers. It turns out that the upgrade was actually a downgrade despite the site saying that this would not happen. After the first downgrade we then tried to cancel all future interventions which proved very difficult. There is no way of cancelling the intervention on the portal. So we raised tickets for these, but got no confirmation that these would be actioned before the intervention date. Eventually we used the Chat on the portal to contact an actual person. At this point the experience changed as Victor B was very helpful and managed to cancel the interventions within a few hours and kept us informed along the way.

One of the Best hosting companies that are also the cheapest.
I had a great experience with OVHcloud so far. At first i was abit sceptical about the low prices, but i purchased a VPS model 1 to start a Minecraft server, and it's more than I need/asked for. As well, after looking at other services i might require in the future, they also were super cheap (compared to other providers).
I liked this company so much that i have recommended this company to my family, simply because they have everything i could ever ask for, and for being a fraction of the price rather then with others. If i have any new service that I'll require in the future, I'll be sure to use this one company

Outstanding customer service – went above and beyond to resolve my issue
I have been an OVHcloud customer for many years, running multiple servers for my business, and while the infrastructure has always been reliable, it was the exceptional support I received on ticket CS15082644 that truly stood out and earned my highest praise.
I made an honest oversight when upgrading to a new, higher-spec server: I hadn’t realised my existing server (ns3205098) was still under a commitment until July 2026. Suddenly facing the prospect of paying for two servers simultaneously created a serious financial strain, and I genuinely worried I might have to cancel the new setup and lose all the migration work I had already completed.
I submitted a detailed cancellation request explaining the situation, my long history with OVHcloud, and the financial difficulty. Tomás F. responded promptly, clearly explained the process, and quickly escalated the request to the Claims department after confirming my instructions. Within hours, Leticia D. from Claims reviewed and approved the early removal of the commitment – six months ahead of schedule – allowing me to continue the remaining server on a flexible monthly basis.
This resolution made a huge difference to me financially and saved me from a very difficult situation. Both Tomás and Leticia were professional, understanding, and efficient throughout. They turned what could have been a frustrating experience into one that reinforced my trust in OVHcloud.
Thank you to the entire support team for showing genuine flexibility and customer focus. I highly recommend OVHcloud not just for the hosting, but for the outstanding people behind the service.

I develop in a semi-large minecraft server (500 players) and I suggested the owners getting the Rise-S dedicated server for the host. After purchasing it and testing some things out, I am very amazed with it. You can't see chunks loading (even with a ton of players) The ping latency is low, and it even beats a 180$ (versus 60$) Minecraft hosting.

Le cauchemar de OVH
OVH, c’est devenu pour moi un véritable cauchemar.
L’inscription est d’une facilité déconcertante : on te promet des offres, des réductions, une expérience simplifiée… Mais dès que tu paies, le piège se referme. Tout devient payant, chaque assistance est facturée, parfois même à ton insu.
Surtout, ne jamais enregistrer ses coordonnées bancaires, et ne jamais considérer son adresse mail comme acquise, l’année suivante, tu risques de payer le triple, voire de perdre ton service.
C’est une honte pour un groupe aussi important, aussi riche et aussi structuré de traiter ses utilisateurs de cette manière. Personnellement, j’y ai laissé beaucoup de plumes. Aujourd’hui, je préfère largement passer chez Gmail plutôt que de continuer à me faire racketter.
Le pire, c’est ce sentiment d’impuissance, aucun interlocuteur, des réponses par mail qui mettent un mois à arriver quand elles arrivent et qui, en plus, sont facturées.
Alors si tu lis ce message avant de t’abonner, considère que tu viens de prendre la meilleure décision : celle de te renseigner avant de te faire piéger.

Tout d'abord, je tiens à réitérer nos excuses pour le délai de traitement de votre ticket. Ce dernier, ayant été créé auprès de l'équipe Facturation au lieu du service technique, a nécessité un peu plus de temps de traitement.
Une fois le ticket pris en charge, nos techniciens ont expliqué qu'il fallait renouveler votre hébergement expiré pour continuer à profiter des services associés.
Nous regrettons que vous n'ayez pas eu le temps d'explorer les pistes proposées par notre service technique.
L'ensemble de l'équipe reste disponible en cas de besoin.

Honnêtement, si tout va bien RAS.
Mais si vous rencontrez un problème dû à leur IP blacklisté là c'est autre chose..
Depuis juillet mon mail est signalé comme Spam à cause d'eux.
De nombreux tickets on été ouvert sans réelle réponse apporté, mon activité est impacté et cela leur est égal. Je relance une fois par semaine, je reçois une réponse automatique me disant que le délai de traitement est de quelques jours, et cela depuis le mois de juillet..
Je déconseille.
