The shipping time is pretty long especially for something small like a hat. The products are on the pricey side so when you finally receive your order there’s a level of disappointment with the products quality, you’d expect something made better for what you paid as compared to less expensive items on other platforms. The option to give a tip at checkout is a turn off especially since their items are kind of high, you pay for shipping and the options for a discount are slim. Would not be purchasing again from the site.

I understand that Our True God is a small, family-owned Christian company, and I genuinely wanted to support them. I had never ordered from them before, but after seeing their Facebook ads repeatedly and liking the design of their snapback hats, I decided to give them a try.

I placed my order on a Tuesday, hoping to have the hats in time for an upcoming church event where I planned to give them as gifts to several brothers in the church. Looking back, I should have realized there might be an issue when only one shipping option was available.

After placing the order, I communicated back and forth with customer service and eventually learned that the hats are made on demand after the purchase is placed. I was also told that some of my emails had supposedly gone to their spam folder, despite us communicating through the same email thread. When it became clear the hats would not arrive in time, I requested a refund so I could use the money elsewhere. Unfortunately, I received no response regarding my concerns until the day the hats were finally shipped out—which felt a little too convenient.

The hats are now expected to arrive on June 23, which is after my event and even after Father’s Day. Since these were intended as gifts, the timing completely missed the purpose of my order.

This is my initial review based on my experience so far. While I appreciate what the company stands for and understand they are a small business, communication and transparency regarding production and shipping times are important. Based on this experience, I have to rate the company accordingly, and at this point, I am unlikely to purchase from them again.

I have recently ordered two of the J.C hats and was pleasantly surprised. I made the purchase first and decided to read reviews later. The negative reviews had me worried. I received my order on time and the hats are high quality. I recommend Our True God.

I bought a true fit hat for almost $40 and was very disappointed. The quality was not there and the vent part of the hat feels like hard plastic that mimics a cheese grater on my head. Not comfortable. When looking how to return or exchange the hat this company makes it nearly impossible to return anything without a huge hassle or little fine print areas that flat out deny a return. Not a very Christian way to do business if you ask me. I am stuck with this hat but God is still on the throne. Praise Jesus, find a better company to do business with.

Do not buy from Our True God. We ordered 3 hats over a 6 month period. Same exact hat, 1 was a different color. When we received the 3rd hat it was not what we ordered. I contacted customer service and they basically said too bad, they bought from another manufacturer and offered a discount for another purchase. This hat dis jot fit right, look the same etc. This is poor business, especially for a $50 hat! I asked for a refund and I would return the hat as it will not be worn. They said I needed to ship it back at my cost, I already paid shipping for the initial order, plus pay 20% restocking fee and don’t forget to send them a photo of the return or it would not be accepted. All of this from a faith based organization who sent us a product that was not what we ordered. We will not purchase from them or recommend anyone to their product or site.

This company is a scam, do not order from this company, if it really is a company?! I order a hate $39.99 plus tax on 4/2/26 and a week later still hasn’t shipped. Come to find out that it take 10 business days to ship out from what they said so we shall see what next week brings? I guess I’m am at fault for not doing more research about them. I’m so pissed, worst company ever!!!!!!!!

DO NOT ORDER. I ordered 1 hat, and they charged me for 4. including (updating) my order 2 hours after I ordered it. making me go to my bank to declare it as fraud. fraudulent company

I would never order from this company again. I ordered two hats that I need to return (within 30 days of course) and only received one of the two shirts I ordered. I have sent multiple emails with no response. Don't waste your time or money. There are better companies our there where you can buy Christian apparel.

Placed an order on 4/12 for two hats. Today is 4/28, and the order hasn't shipped yet. I have received zero communication from them regarding my order, and the customer support mailbox is full. I am working with PayPal to get a refund.

Still haven’t received the hat. Ordered on 3/31/26. Emailed them 4/7/26 and asked about the order and never heard from them. Sad because I wanted to buy another hat I liked but not now. Not a good experience.

Doubt I will ever see the items I ordered. Disgusting that a “Godly” website would behave this way. Also disappointed in myself for not checking the reviews first.

Ordered a hat on January 23, 2026... received an email saying "your order shipped" on February 4, 2026. It is February 9, 2026 and nothing has shipped. Nothing. Just a label created. I am on week 3 waiting for a snapback hat. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I have placed multiple orders from Our True God and have had zero positive experiences from this business. For example, ordered a shirt in early November 2025 that came in January 2026. I have 30+ large shirts, but the one from them is a tiny medium. Sent an email at the beginning of January which has not been responded to 30 days later. I will be buying from a Christian company next time.

Received the correct order and it’s quality-made and I appreciate their mission. It took longer to receive than stated (granted it was during Christmas season so not unsurprising to have production delays. It did not arrive in time for Christmas). I’m giving 3 stars just bc I reached out to customer service and never heard back from anyone. That department could use some work. May buy from again but will order way ahead of time next time.

Never received my order. When I contacted them to inquire about a problem with the order, the response was defensive and rude. I was sent a tracking order a week later, and it has been 11 days since then; the order is still in the same place and has not shipped.

0 stars more like it. Gave them 2 weeks to receive before Christmas. Jan 12 I'm told that it will arrive which is 4 weeks later. Their website says ships within 48 hours. Mine was 4 weeks for 1 hat. I complained via email and got a response 4 days later that said it shipped. The label to ship with tracking said Dec 28th yet it just left yesterday. So one week to ship a hat via USPS? Please dont waste your time or money unless you are not in hurry. They are in NC and I am in TX. After reading reviews on quality, I am confident I just wasted $43.

Absolutely the worst company to use the Lords name and profit from it. The hats I purchased, 2 of them. 1 had the label peeling off, yes not even sowed on and the other looks like a drunk blind man tried slapping the sticker on it. Contacted the company for a return and they are disputing it saying the mass produced sticker hats are made to order. 😂😂😂

Placed order on 12/7/25 for two hats a Christmas gifts. They said guaranteed delivery for Christmas! They shipped on 12/22/25 arrived on 12/26/25 but only one hat in box. I have reached out multiple times via email with no response. Lesson learned about ordering from places seen on Facebook

Ordered a sweatshirt on Dec.13 to be delivered in time for Christmas. Christmas has come and gone. I have never received notification that order has shipped. Still says processing. Emailed company twice inquiring about the order. Just received emails telling me how to return the product. Can’t return something I haven’t received. Left voicemail message and nothing. I wish I had looked at reviews before ordering. I’m really disappointed that a “Christian” company would do business like this.

I ordered hats on December 3, and still have not received them. I notified the company and they sent an email back regarding how to return the products. I havent even received the product to return. Customer service didn't even read the email, just sent a blanket incorrect response to me. I will be filing a complaint with my credit card company.
