Othemo Anmeldelser

Snafu with delivery - courier left in the "safe" recycling bin with all the recycling on recycling day! Emailed the company and a replacement has arrived very quickly. It's been charged and used already and it's great, especially the hands free on/off. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Great service

I ordered the headband lights for some of my family for Christmas and started to worry when they had not arrived a few days prior. The tracking number I tried didn't work, so I emailed customer service & got a reply the next day! They took the time to research my order & tell me what day my order would arrive. My order arrived in time for Christmas and my family loved these presents! Thank you for your great customer service, and thank you for this awesome product 😀

My mom seems to have been scammed by these guys. So frustrating. And her grandkids didn't get Christmas presents from her!

The product itself is solid. Comfortable on the brow, bright, lighting options and the hand wave on/off is invaluable if you have your hands occupied or grungy.

I experienced shipping issues on my order to the west coast of the USA. This had me contacting the Othemo Customer Service team via email. Being 8 hours behind in time zones, my expectations were low on responses. Much to my surprise, I would wake up to thorough responses from Janna. She gave me insight into the business and their efforts as a new company to improve their processes. After my products arrived from their west coast shipping partner with crushed boxes (product in each undamaged), I was offered a partial refund. I turned it down - the lights worked, I bent the gift boxes back to reasonable looking & kept the worst one for me, and felt that the price I paid for 5 headlamps and the free keychain light was so low that accepting the offer of money back was near criminal on my part.

As a retired Customer Service Manager for a large utility company, I recognize good intent and action by customer service teams. The Othemo Customer Service Team, while new and small, is very good and is customer centered. Honest and complete information when the unexpected happens is a driver for customer satisfaction when things don’t go as planned and expected. In reading other comments, it is clear most issues are tied to delivery chain matters outside the UK during the peak holiday shipping window. So while my products arrived on the Sunday morning after Christmas, the holiday was not destroyed for me.

I am pleased with the products and more so by how my concerns were handled. I am surprised that this company is still in startup mode based upon the quality of the customer service I received and was offered.

And yes, I plan on being a repeat customer and will be sharing my experiences with others on the product & the people behind it.

Great and very practical headlight. Works as it's meant to. Great and easy to reach customer service as well. Seems very customer-oriented to me. Had an issue with one out of the three ordered headlight which was solved immediately.

Product (headlamp) works great. I had an issue with one of the lamps and it was taken care of immediately. Great experience, I would purchase again from this company.

The lights work really well! Shipping took a couple days to start tracking after I got the notification, which worried me, but the lights showed up a few days later! They are quite bright and seem well made.

I wasn’t too happy with my first experience with these lamps so I was contacted personally by Othemo to make things right.
I appreciate that alot and I give 5/5 for service.

Headlamps lightweight on head with rubberband feels great and I like wide led light.
Battery life is now OK but one thing I hope gets fixed in future: it still starts dimming little by little so I need to shut it off and on every 10-20 minutes to get the brightest light back.

In other parts good product.

To begin, if you want these in a hurry, look elsewhere. They take FOREVER to ship. Waited just at a month for my order of two headlamps. The lamps themselves are okay, but the ‘wave’ feature is super sensitive. If I walk too close to an object, it will turn the light on/off. Also, ordered two lamps and one of the charging cords didn’t work. Pretty unhandy when you want to have them in two different vehicles. Fortunately, it seems any old compatible cord will do. Had a coworker order the same damn thing off amazon under a different brand name. He got his in less than a week, it was cheaper, and his charging cord worked. So maybe look elsewhere.

I ordered 7 for Christmas and they were a great hit with young and older alike. Not sure if the parents will ever get to use them!! We are now prepared for the next power cut!!

I collect every type of portable light, including lights worn on my head. The Othemo is one of the most unique lights I have found. It is very light and bright and has a "motion detector," which allows me to turn it on or off by waving my hand. I had a question and emailed the company. They got back to be within several hours!! I believe Othemo is a WINNER!

Ordered 4 headlamps for Christmas. Shipped but didn't arrive till the day after Christmas, but still worked out perfect as the kids had to work on Christmas (Fireman and Nurse) so we celebrated on the 27th. Looked great with everyone wearing then while opening presents. Loved the items!!
Well Done, OTHEMO!!

Great headlamp! I am restoring a vehicle. Having a nice bright light that also turns on/off with motion is really nice when both hands are in use. Good quality, and good customer service. Shipping was a bit lengthy but it was the holiday season. Highly recommend!

Still waiting for shipment
Shipment arrived! There had been no expressed promise of a delivery date. my problem for assuming a quick turn around?

Ordered these for family Christmas presents. Everyone loved them! There were lots of oohings and aahings as my family tried the lamps on. The best comment: “I’m going to use these up!”

This is a terrific product - especially the light bar that goes along your forehead. I finally have peripheral vision when using a headlamp!

Ordered on December 5th and got nervous closer to Christmas when the tracking number wasn’t finding the order so I wrote the company. They responded quickly and gave me a new tracking link that worked. The lights arrived on the 24th in plenty of time to get wrapped and dropped into everyone’s stockings. The grandchildren were especially excited about them as they came up with a bunch of different ways they can use the lights.

I ordered the headlamp for my husband for Christmas. He always wants extra light when he’s working on a fix-it project at home and I’m often needed to hold the light so he can see and use both hands. He is really happy with the bright light on the Othemo headlamp.

I also was very pleased with the customer service. I was concerned the headlamp would not arrive for Christmas so I wrote to Othemo. I received a prompt response from a person and also received the package on Christmas Eve. Then there was a follow up email to confirm we had received the package. I would recommend this company because of their responsiveness. It seems like a quality product- time will tell!

I ordered a pair of Othemo head lamps. The ordering processing communication was great, but the package got held up by a Canada Post strike. Othemo checked in, assured me the package was on the way and followed up when the strike was resolved. The headlamps are well made, very bright and functional. My wife uses one for evening walks, and the wave on/off feature is handy to avoid blinding oncoming walkers. The low-profile, lightweight design are big pluses too.

Love the headlamp. I use it when I walk my dog in the evening…gave 4 as gifts…everyone loves them. Comfortable, bright and easy to use. Company is very responsive to questions. Thanks…

I ordered the Othemo Starter Kit December 6th and received the package in Finland December 18th. For free shipping this was fine for me.

I had a problem with the keychain light. The LED screen had a small piece of black plastic stuck between which doesn't really affect using the light but was visually bothersome so I contaced the support.

The reply was very quick and helpful from the start. They understood my problem and proceeded to send me a replacement free of charge.

Otherwise the headlamp, the case and the keychain light are very well made, bright and easy to use.

All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase.
