Fantastic company to deal with. Their customer service is refreshing, quick to respond and answer queries and provide suggestions. Far exceeds the service I've received from other brands.
The Kamado Barbarian is an exceptionally solid and quality product. Delighted I chose this Kamado over other brands. The charcoal is also fantastic quality.

Have ordered a few times and been great each time. First time was ordering their Barbarian so big heavy order. There was a delay (after it left their warehouse) but received a phone call to explain the delay which I thought was great customer service.

Original Caveman is the best lumpwood charcoal I have used. Quickly delivered, nice big chunks (some huge ones), burns nice and long. Always my go to fuel for my Kamado Joe cooks.

Service from Original Caveman has been exceptional, I have used them for various accessories and in particular their amazing charcoal.

If you are using a kamado or need high quality lump charcoal then this is the place to buy it from. Some of the pieces I have received in the bags are the size of a coconut and are absolutely perfect for low and slow cooking

Great Charcoal, and the Barbarian Kamado is an absolute beast for the price.
Have bought a few other products and all been quality.

Fast delivery and if had an issues there response and customer service is 2nd to none.

As a customer looking into these grills, I was surprised to learn that Original Caveman is operated by Redec, which appears to be a dodgy builders merchant rather than a company with a background in BBQ. After a little bit of research he grills they’re selling are generic kamado units that can be purchased directly from platforms like Alibaba or AliExpress for around £350–£400, yet they’re being sold for £1,000–£1,600. At the same time, they seem to criticise other companies for offering lifetime warranties, which feels a bit contradictory.

They’re marketed as premium products, but they appear to be mass-produced imports without a long-standing brand, heritage, or track record in the BBQ industry. While warranties are mentioned in the marketing, as a customer it does make me question how meaningful those warranties would be in the long term with a relatively new brand.

There’s also the question of how closely these products resemble established brands like Kamado Joe, who are well known for protecting their intellectual property. If issues ever arose around that, it could potentially leave customers uncertain about long-term support or product continuity.

Tbh, as a online charcoal company what can you say. But it's a really great product, good mix of large and medium chunks and not overly smoky to overpower the food. It also helps that the service is 5* too!

So I ordered the charcoal from these guys and from the start to when I recieved the order they was very efficient and the quality you get is incredible. Been really impressed with these guys and as a professional chef I can not recommend them enough for there quality charcoal and products. Superb quality Kamado grills, even better than a well known 'Joe' their customer service is absolutely top notch as are their products. I've bought my Barbarian Kamado, cast iron grates, charcoal Several times) and a deflector plate I accidentally broke, all delivered super fast and great prices. I honestly cannot rate these guys highly enough and recommend their Kamados to anyone who'll listen.

I moved from OriginalCaveman to another brand on the FB page - big mistake! OriginalCaveman is far, far better - big chunks, well packaged competitively priced and speedy delivery. Recommended.

I really rate this charcoal, it always gets delivered quickly and well, and seems to stay in massive chunks, which as a Kamado user is what I want. Temperature stays stable, burns hot when I need it to and more importantly, they are always so helpful when I have contacted them via email and messenger. Thank you so much for great customer service, and better yet reliable charcoal! We all know lumps of meat can be pricey and I know I can trust cooking with your coal.
