I find Oran Care lacking in caring for…

I find Oran Care lacking in caring for their clients, they change times constantly and don’t let the client know, and don’t reply to phone calls when things go wrong, it is very stressful not knowing what is going to happen on a daily basis

I'm glad that we have had the opportunity to speak to you and your son and that issues around times and communication have been resolved. Left a review which was adequately…

Left a review which was adequately true.. left out the part where they were signing there notes calling my parent a different name so there legally binding files then became falsified documents should anything have happened .

They do not keep carers updated on things either

But Oran did not like this review and tried to get trust pilot to remove it but I didn’t say anything bad or that wasn’t true

Oran "Care?"

Total lack of continuity of care. Couldn't even guarantee the DAY we required. Once a rapport had been established with a carer we were advised it didn't suit their rota and they couldn't guarantee we would get them again. For this reason we regretfully have to go through the process of searching for another care service.

I'm very sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the delivery of our service. Continuity of care is one of our key objectives and we work hard to maintain this at all times. Our staff work a rotating pattern that allows them to have days off, including every second weekend. This means that we cannot send the same member of staff every week. I appreciate that it is difficult having to go through the process of searching for another care company and hope you can find one that better suits your needs. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can help in any way.

Oran Care provides home care of a very high standard.

I have used Oran Care for 18mths to provide care for my uncle. firstly just to visit twice a week to do shopping but gradually he has needed more help and for the last 6 months has had a daily visit to check he is OK. I have nothing but praise for the help the care team are giving him, they always let me know if they have any concerns and recently they asked if they could add an additional visit at the end of the day as were concerned he was forgetting to lock the door in the evening. It is called a "Tuck" visit - just a 30 min visit to check all is fine.
He has no family nearby and I live 250 miles away so can only visit once a month. It is a real comfort to know he is having good quality care in his own home.
The admin team are very supportive and helpful when I have any questions and I am contacted every 6 mths to review his care package. Invoices are always sent promptly which I feel is another good sign of a well run business. I have no hesitation in recommending Oran Care to anyone looking personal care in their own home.
