About the 6% early-withdrawal fee

The fee applies only when funds are withdrawn with no genuine trading activity.

Processing deposits and withdrawals—card charges, bank fees, compliance checks, and liquidity-provider costs—adds up to more than 6% if an account is used solely as a pass-through. The policy simply offsets those costs so we can keep our usual spreads and commissions low for active clients.

To be clear: if you withdraw $2,000 with minimal trading, the fee would be $120 (6%), not $120 plus $20. The $20 minimum only applies to smaller withdrawals where 6% would be less than $20.

Why we have the policy
Unfortunately some actors attempt to exploit welcome bonuses, referral incentives, or payment-processing loopholes. Requiring a modest level of trading activity—or, if not, charging the fee—protects both our firm and our genuine clients from higher ongoing costs.

This is especially important in a trading environment like OQtima where spreads are constantly thin and our commission is probably one of the lowest in the market at 1.5 USD per lot per side.

In regard to what you mentioned, we understand that life emergencies can happen. If you ever face an urgent need—medical or otherwise—please contact our support team directly. We review each case individually and will always do what we reasonably can to address each case.

Dear Valeria,

Your review alleges we are "intentionally withholding client funds" and that you've "submitted all necessary documents." This is categorically false and omits critical facts:

1. Legal Compliance is Non-Negotiable – OQtima is a regulated broker bound by the Seychelles AML/CFT Act 2020 and EU Travel-Rule Regulation 2023/1113. When funds are requested to a different wallet than the deposit origin, verification is mandatory by law.

2. Required Video Never Provided – Since March 31, we've requested a 2-minute video showing (a) your ID and (b) live wallet control. No such video exists in our records. You've only sent screenshots and a QR code showing a different wallet address than either your deposit or withdrawal address.

3. Your Own Communications Contradict Your Claims – On March 31, you wrote you were "unable to record a video" and asked for alternative verification methods. We offered live video calls at your convenience - yet you refused video calls while requesting email or phone verification, which don't meet AML standards.

4. "Generic Messages" Claim is Demonstrably False – You state our support team sends "generic messages" and is "buying time." In reality, our communications have been highly specific: exact verification requirements, step-by-step instructions, and multiple offers for live video assistance. The fact that you consistently ignored these personalized live-call offers while claiming we're unresponsive suggests this isn't about withdrawal difficulties - it's about avoiding standard AML verification.

5. Pattern Raises Serious Compliance Concerns – Refusing verification, providing mismatched wallet addresses, falsely claiming to have sent videos, and using public reviews as pressure while ignoring our support offers - this is precisely why AML regulations exist.

OQtima will not compromise regulatory compliance. The solution remains unchanged:

Upon proper verification, funds will be released immediately. We maintain our commitment to both client service and legal compliance.
