My personal experience: Optimus Futures' support staff went above and beyond to help me with an issue that I was having a week ago, and that alone is something NONE of the other brokers that I've used in the past did for me. Zach and Matt specifically are some the best people I've met when it comes to customer support and I cannot thank them enough for their patience and dedication to getting my issue resolved as quickly as possible.
Overall I will give Optimus a 5 star rating because the one con gets significantly outweighed by everything else that Optimus offers and I 100% recommend any day trader to go with them, as they will save you a lot of money and headaches in the long run.

NOT a full service futures firm. They don't trade grains, they don't trade meats, don't trade softs either. There are many other things they don't trade. And they aren't explicit about it. If you go to their margins page they quote margins leaving you the impression you can trade these. But you can NOT. You'll be sitting there like I was the other night with a good opportunity to trade soybeans and the platform repeatedly rejecting your orders. You call their 24 hours trade line and they see the order rejections but can't help you. You miss your opportunity. SURPRISE!!! The next morning you provide Jake a complete list of the futures you trade, and he replies with a list of futures optimus lets you trade, excluding the above whole categories of futures and others.
Rigid, and inflexible. Don't know what I ever saw in them. So, let me get this straight... When I find an opportunity, I need to figure out (somehow) whether optimus will let me trade it? In the words of McEnroe "You can NOT be serious!!!". For a firm where futures is all they do (can't trade stocks, options, or much of anything else), this is a serious handicap. I can understand how you can't be all things to all people, but if you are specialized in futures, why can't you trade futures?
I thought I'd found a trading home. Extremely disappointing.
*** Addendum: The CEO of Optimus is working with me to try and enable the futures I trade. I will amend the review and possibly the rating pending outcome. Perhaps my comments on inflexibility were in error. In any case, kudos for the effort. (4/7/2026).

Platform issue led to loss — no accountability
My advice: be very careful with Optimus Futures.
Imagine you trade something, close your order, make sure there is nothing opened, no position or pending order and 3 days later you wake up with your money in your account gone.
I used Optimus Flow (their trading platform) to trade futures, and the broker opened a position which did not show up in the platform. I traded the other day and checked many times that there was no positions or working orders opened. 3 Days later I received an email from Optimus saying that they were liquidating "my position" at a loss of 312 USD.
I checked in the platform and even after they liquidated the aledged position it showed no P/L as the other normal orders.
I complained with them and provided clear evidence (screenshots) and they told me it was my fault and that I should not rely on trading platform and that I should check my statements instead.
They haven't even tried to investigate the issue.
That's a complete absurd. Every trader relies on real time information about their orders. If the platform shows some orders but not others then that is misleading, a trap for the customers.
Furthermore when I first subscribed I had chosen a basic plan. Before they opened my account I told them that I wanted a more expensive one. They then charged me both. No explanation whatsoever or warning that I would be charged twice. I simply left it alone since I didn't want to go through the hassle to fight for a few dozens USD. But now I am again left with the debt because of their unreliable platform.
And now I even have to pay to withdraw the rest of my money left.
They simply don't care.
No accountability, no investigation, no resolution.
I will open a formal complaint with Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

The company would usually take days to respond my queries. They answered my complaint a week later and only after I insisted on it. I then replied with more facts and asking for reconsideration and for 9 days they never bothered to respond. But one hour after I posted this review they contacted me via email with a big message, not trying to resolve the issue, but rather blaming me, excusing themselves from any responsibility and intimidating me because of the review.
So my advice to everyone: post your negative reviews in here and you will receive a quick answer and will help people not go through the same headaches.
Regarding the review, they told me I was misrepresenting them with false statements. In response to that I stand for every single statement I posted here. They are all true and I have proof. I wish I had a way to attach their messages to this review.
Let me save you time and headache:
Trading is something serious and should be taken seriously. An unreliable/unstable platform or broker can cost you thousands (if not millions of dollars).
Optimus Futures gives you unreliable tools and excuses themselves from any responsibility. Even though Optimus Flow is shown as the official Desktop Platform in their website, with the company's name and brand, they say it is not their responsibility. It is like if I sold products with my brand and then I tell pleople harmed by them: "oh, sorry, it is not my responsibility, the product is made by other company".

Too many stumbles
To preface this review, I've got to say that I broke a personal rule of mine when originally writing this review. The CEO himself even reached out to me, which I took as a good sign that someone at the top truly cares.
On to the review...
I don't like that my credentials to CQG are emailed to me because it proves that they aren't stored securely, but this situation is out of Optimus Futures' hands. It's a crappy situation for everyone.
I connect Optimus Futures to TradingView, where I try trading futures options, but I get the error "Non-tradable symbol. You can't trade the symbol at TradingView via Optimus Futures."
So I go back to the web version of Optimus Futures to trade. There's a tab to place an order. I try to look up the symbol, but there's no search box. Instead, there's a popup, and I have to scroll through a list to find the type of contract. The contract I'm looking for isn't on the list.
I go back to the Place Order page and put in the symbol because I know what it is anyway. But there's a random, empty, unlabeled mystery box on the page. It's sketchy, so to be extra cautious, I click the Preview button. I get a "Preview Your New Order" page with a table showing the symbol, bid/ask, volume, et cetera, but the table is empty. I don't know why.
So TradingView doesn't work. The website lends no confidence. Let's try Optimus Flow.
Man...the text and buttons are arthritis-inducingly small. I went through the settings, and there's no way to scale the UI. Some of the text is also gray and blends in with the dark background.
As a last resort, I download the Android mobile app. When I try searching for a symbol, the search box flies above the top of the screen, and I can't see what I'm typing unless I press back. On top of that weirdness, the letters I type in the search box get jumbled up. For example, "silver" comes out as "slivre". At first I thought I kept fat-fingering the text, but no, the app swaps letters around randomly. It took around 6 tries to finally type a symbol properly. At this point, I felt that I had given Optimus Futures enough chances.
The frustration comes down to the design from Optimus Flow's website not carrying into the expected day-to-day applications, which feel outdated. A good UX designer and UX researcher could have prevented these pain points long ago, before a single line of code was written.
I hope one day Optimus Futures is as robust as the leadership’s commitment.

Thank you for updating your review and for acknowledging our previous outreach. We always appreciate honest feedback, and I want to clarify exactly why you ran into these roadblocks shortly after receiving your initial credentials.
Regarding futures options on TradingView, you received that error because we do not currently support options trading. Since options traders can act as 'writers' and collect premiums, it introduces a specific type of exposure that falls outside our risk management parameters. Instead, our focus is strictly on highly liquid futures markets, such as the Micros. While the CME lists thousands of different symbols, we intentionally do not enable all of them due to severe liquidity and risk concerns on the more obscure contracts. Because of this, you cannot just randomly search and route any symbol you find. We require traders to focus on the specific, highly liquid futures contracts that are appropriate for their account size. We definitely could have saved you the time trying to route those unsupported symbols had we connected before you started testing.
The empty boxes, missing search features, and errors you experienced on Optimus Flow, Web, and Mobile all stem from the same issue: your account was never actually enabled for those specific platforms. You applied for a specific data feed connection, so attempting to log in to un-provisioned software will, unfortunately, result in a broken interface and blank data tables.
We do want to genuinely thank you for pointing out the mobile app text bug. While symbols route on a live, provisioned data feed, it sounds like you caught a glitch in the unconnected demo environment. We will absolutely have our tech team look into that.
We know the setup process for beginner futures routing can feel complex. We are still here and more than happy to guide you through the correct setup for the platforms you are actually provisioned for. Please feel free to call our desk at your convenience.

Recently opened an account with Optimus. The process was easy and straightforward. I allowed myself a number of days to get acquainted with Optimus Flow by paper trading. The charting software was easy to pick up and navigate and order execution is simple.

Thank you for the honest feedback. You have every right to be frustrated—two weeks is simply too long to wait for account setup, and we aren't going to give you a generic corporate excuse.
The reality is that we have recently experienced a massive surge in demand, and our onboarding team is working through a significant backlog. As a registered brokerage handling real capital, every account requires strict regulatory checks, proper routing to clearing firms, and careful risk allocation. Unlike simulated 'prop' accounts that can be generated in seconds, setting up a live futures account correctly takes time.
We are actively scaling our staff to get our turnaround times back down to where they should be, but we will never cut corners on the security and proper setup of client funds just to rush an application.
We hate that we missed the mark on your timeline and understand why you couldn't wait. We wish you the best of luck with your trading going forward!
