My experience with Opogo has been outstanding. I love how easy it is to communicate through their app — jobs come in quickly, and accepting them is simple. Working with my account manager, Ashley Azad, has been wonderful; he communicates clearly, is proactive in finding suitable roles for me, and ensures I’m never short of work. Since transitioning from full-time teaching to supply, I’ve felt fully supported by Ashley and the Opogo team. Communication is consistent and reliable — I usually know about bookings the day before, and even when same-day work comes up, I’m informed early enough (around 7:30 am) to prepare and travel without any stress. Compared to other agencies I’ve worked with, Opogo’s use of the app and their excellent communication make a real difference, helping me stay organised, prepared, and confident for each assignment. I would highly recommend Opogo to anyone considering supply work.

Horrific experience. It was my first time working with an agency, so I had to figure out the legal aspects on my own. They initially locked me into a 1-year contract with the intention of not paying my QP rate of pay after the 12-week mark. In other words, they wouldn’t allow me to move over to a permanent contract with the school, but I was expected to stay with the agency without holiday pay or any of my legal entitlements beyond 12-weeks, after which worker rights kick in. When confronted about this, they were ambiguous and claimed that the lower rate was because I was in a ‘training role’ when no such role existed. Avoid at all costs. Pretty sure they’re trying to get away with illegal contracting.

The app is a great way of communicating, rather than wait on the phone to get through.
Allows you to get on with your day.

Very helpful and efficient - they provide a great service and work with some wonderful teachers and TAs.

Opogo has always been there when we are in need even at the last minute. The platform they are using is amazing you can book your supply with a few clicks. The team is great always happy to help.

Opogo and Thames Teachers provide an excellent service. Candidates across a range of fields are of consistently high quality and the team invest significant time to understand our context and needs. The online platform is innovative and makes the process of booking staff straightforward. Having the option of booking candidates from a 'talent pool' allows us to use our 'favourites' and helps to ensure consistency and quality. The platform saves significant time, allows us to make bookings and plan outside of office hours. A highly recommended service that it much more than a supply agency but a company to work in partnership with for short and long term staffing needs.
