Cannot fault Opera Beds. Honestly brilliant from the first phone call to delivery of my mums new bed. 89 year old mum in hospital for 3 weeks. She desperately needed a profiling hospital style bed. I took a chance and contacted Opera as they were the first company that came up on Google. I spoke to Michelle who has been excellent. She wasn't pushy at all, didn't try to sell me anything, sent a brochure and phoned a week later. We hadn't decided so she she diaried and called the following week. To be honest we had no clue as to what exactly mum needed and there was too much choice in the brochure! I asked if Michelle could ring me when I was with mum, ask us relevant questions, we'd answer and she could recommend the solution. She did this, was extremely knowledgeable and didn't recommended the most expensive option - which to me speaks volumes. Agreed everything, paid over the phone, 2 hours later the delivery team phoned to arrange delivery providing a 2 hour slot. 4 or 5 days later on the arranged day, we received texts keeping us up to date about delivery time. The two guys that did the set up, Dwaine and Lukesz were great. Got to it and had the whole thing done in less than an hour. Gave us a "training session" which we recorded for future reference! They too were excellent, professional but friendly. I really can't speak highly enough of this company, they deserve recognition and are extremely helpful. Special thanks to Michelle.

(Summary: 4 stars because of the single sales person causing so much stress, but otherwise would be a 5 as the rest of the staff were great.)
The delivery people Rich and Darren were fantastic! All staff have been fantastic. Shaun in the logistics planning team, and Jordan in the customer services team (that unfortunately inherited the problems of the salesperson I had) are also great. Unfortunately, had bad luck with the salesperson that I was assigned to, which is being investigated, and a repair plan has been agreed on. Just have to wait for a few days until the swatch arrives and I can compare it to the frame that I got delivered (although we disagree on the colour, which is normal, and is an easy fix, as mentioned). I feel bad for the gifts from the fuss, and they really didn't have to send me anything other than the swatches. But I am grateful to have Jordan as a point of contact from here on.
So far the mattresses are extremely comfortable, and the bed frame and bases are solid and great quality. My back pain is very much eased when laying on the 'Memory' mattress as someone who has severe joint instability (among other things, and ofcourse various types of pain).
❕️*Update*: Since sleeping one night I have had a more restful sleep and have much less pain when trying to fall asleep, and when I wake up at night. Literally can't fault anything. Money very well spent. This will be incredibly beneficial for my everyday life. And the shape of the bed frame 'Dalta' is gorgeous. And my senior cat loves the 'Memory' mattress more than his huge cat tree hammocks. When I wake him up he looks dishevelled, like he was in deep sleep.
But nobody answers your emails on the general email they have, if you send the email first.
They don't warn you that to use Klarna you would need to have used it for a few years before Klarna accepting to give a loan. So I had to panic and see who I can borrow money off of as I already paid a deposit to Opera Beds. Sales staff ignored my emails where I spoke to my bank about it. Also ignored the screenshots that I sent to them about Klarna.
The delivery staff weren't told the delivery instructions that I gave to the staff member that was arranging the delivery, which ended up with the delivery staff knocking on my antisocial neighbour's grandkids' door.
Wrong colour of bed was sent. —*Update*:❗️I was wrong! I misremembered how warmth (or lack of) the cream velvet fabric had. And against my yellow walls it looks very grey. So it's a problem with my design choice, *not* Opera Beds. +❕️*Further update*: I just took a photo of my cat and the headboard looks grey and the footboard looks cream. So it looks different depending on how far away it is as well, and what kind of light is being reflected off of it (or if the curtains are drawn without any artificial lights being on). Please bring back swatches to your home and test in different lights and against wall colours, etc. The bed is still gorgeous though. Just will need to also paint my next bedroom a much lighter yellow, or just white to be honest. 😅 At least I don't feel crazy now (Opera Beds staff have never made me feel crazy, other than the single sales staff member).
Electric blanket wasn't delivered even though I requested it via email, and in the VAT relief form. Sales staff say that the VAT relief form can't be viewed after it is submitted.

Thank you for investigating further why the general sales emails don't go through. If it helps, I sent the emails on 13/10/2025 and 04/11/2025. I don't need a reply to them anymore, but I thought that that information may be helpful. I assumed that nobody replied to me because they were silly questions, but just being told that unfortunately the company can't suggest anything like that would've been a decent reply.
Unfortunately your coworker worded the email in regards to Klarna as 'We can set up Klarna for you. We require 25% deposit which is £1262.50.' Which sounded like he will set up the payments for me if I send the deposit. But when I sent the deposit he sent me a link to set up the payments myself. And he never told me that Klarna only accepts customers that have used it for years. The rest you know from the email chains that I forwarded to you, I don't want to overshare on here.
I will update the review tomorrow as to how the bed mechanisms and mattresses are, but so far the quality of the base and mattresses I couldn't be happier with.
I will also send comparison photos (I mean the swatch against the bed frame) over to you as they arrive.
