Ms3 (the network provider) has ran out of static ip addresses so you are stuck behind cgnat.

Ms3 also give public ip's a type of business and not residential for residential customers, I have been blocked by Disney+ as they see my ip as a vpn but after getting in touch with Disney they cleared my ip address but they said it will happen again.

Been having disconnections recently hope they become more stable soon.

This is not the fault of open fiber but there wholesalers fault, over all open fiber are a good small company that is operating in a saturated market.

Hand delivered router for that personal touch, this shows how customer focused they are.

Responsive to emails and on the phone, they are knowledgeable about there products and technical know-how.

After testing for the past month I resulted with a low ping between 8-12ms and little to no jitter even when transfering large files from several devices at the same time.

I currently require a static external IP address and they are working on that request, I will be super pleased when i gain a static IP address as I run my own email server and websites.

In conclusion I would happily recommend this company over kcom, they are customer focused and cheaper (and and more technically knowledgeable).

One thing I did knowtest that was odd is that ms3 networks the wholesaler, gave me a data center ip address instead of a residential ip address but that should not effect the majority of customers and is easy for the wholesaler to rectify.

All installed and already very impressive.
The installation was so clean and tidy, spotless infact and that's both internally and externally 👌.
Very professional.
I have just carried out my first speed test too 😳 rapid with almost zero jitter.
Averaging around 550 mb/s for both upload and download.
I have never witnessed speeds like these from my previous supplier in the 15 or so years of been with them.
Made a saving of £21 a month too whilst increasing my package from a 400mb deal to 1000mb deal.
Highly recommended.

I'd been struggling with the MS3 website to book a slot because of some issue with their website. So I called Open-fibre and Jack P at open fibre sorted me out. It took a few calls and emails back and forth but he managed to sort it out for me and wrote me up a contract. so thanks jack

I am now saving a small fortune with Open Fibre and service is fabulous.
Switching was easy, got booked in for an installation and now have 1gb broadband at a fraction of the price.
I recommend everyone to move to Open Fibre.

Uploads and downloads have never been so good. I will never have to change providers again. Cannot fault any part of the process. Decided to switch internet providers to Open Fibre when we finally had the choice. Cabling was installed on the 17th April, and on the 18th April Open Fibre completed the installation of the box and router. Was initially told it would be live by 5pm on the 18th but that never happened. I always expect some minor niggles, the next day they came out again and got it sorted. Have had a super fast connection ever since, two and a half times faster than my previous provider at £24 a month less.

I would have no issue recommending Open Fibre, everyone I dealt with were extremely professional, cleaned up after installation and then sorted out issues quickly. For people in Hull who finally have a choice of internet providers, I can't recommend Open Fibre enough!
