I ordered and paid in October 2025. I never received my product. I spoke to Brian and Tyler multiple times and was told “supply chain” issues caused the delay. Finally, in February 2026, I was unable to reach anyone by phone or email. I left 4 messages and sent an email without response. I notified the Better Business Bureau and my credit card company that I suspected a scam. The BBB notified me in March that they had tried to contact the company numerous times without response. I await the response from my credit card company. I found the Kohler parts I wanted from another dealer who had no problem procuring them. Do not do business with these people - scam!

Terrible. $3100 spent on a new motor. Ordered 12/18/25. It is now 2/27/26 and still no motor. That’s bad enough, but they are dodging calls and failing to respond to emails. At this point I’m giving serious thought to having them charge criminally with theft. I’ve demanded a refund and of course it has gone unanswered. If you do business with them, you will be disappointed at best.

I purchased a roll of Oregon chainsaw chain from the OPE Engine website because at $380 they were $9.99 cheaper than my usual seller. 2 days later I received an email telling me to call to prevent shipping delay. They wanted $70 more AND told me it might take 30 days to receive a refund.

Thankfully I had paid through PayPal so one phone call and 13 days later I received a full refund for non-shipment.

I do not tnink that this seller is a bait and switch scammer but they are narcissistic, poorly maintaining their website and badly run. Buyer beware!

I callled 3x, emailed 3x, and text message 1x. The responded on email that I would need to provide model and special number. After checking carb, there were 3 letters stamped into carb. I emailed in return providing this information. I did not hear back. I called 2x more. After telling me how I was such a valued customer, had computer answer and asked to leave message and they would return call in 1 to 2 working days. No such response. Trying to locate a responsive dealer.

Wonderful people and so knowledgeable. The rep that helped me find the correct parts. fast shipping and nicely packed my order. you don't hardly see that anymore. I will be returning to place more orders with them when it comes to my Kohler and Briggs needs

Refuse to answer the phone. Does not return calls. Poor customer service. The worst. Stay away from these people.

they are stating that engines are instock and after they charge you for the engine they are then sending you and email stating they are back ordered and telling you to call them. they do not answer the phone nor do they return your call after a voice mail is left. many others must be having the same problem as the voice mail is full much of the time. after a week of calling was finally able to reach someone , they were extremely rude and just hung up on me. go somewhere else

Two positive thoughts. The 26Hp Kohler was well packaged and the price was good, the best I could find. Despite numerous pre purchase emails and questions I learned all of their advice was wrong. Do your own homework. I specifically wanted to know if the replacement motor was essentially plug and play replacement. They said it was, but it was not. My entire fuel system on the Exmark had to be replaced. had I connected the OEM fuel pump and regulator it would have destroyed the fuel pump built onto the new motor. Second, the entire wire harness was not compatible and had to be replaced. Add $400 for all extra the stuff you will need.

OPEengines should OOP’sengines I was having a little ignition trouble with my Kohler Command Pro 27 looked online and seen several different discussions on an upgraded ignition system one said you just swap it out another said you need a new flywheel so I called OOP’s gave them all the information they needed and was told yep this is what you need so I ordered it put it on and the mover ran was a little weak on power but it had some hours on it, well
Shortly after the engine was rattling and losing more power so I figured it was just getting old! So I do some checking online and see you can get a short block well I knew my heads were good so I called and talked to a young man and he wanted all the information on the mower and I gave it all to him again and he asked have you done the coil upgrade and then he says ok I see where you ordered it!
I asked ok is this what I need and will all my original parts work? Flywheel, Heads, push rods… ABSOLUTELY 👍 this was November in Missouri so I got the short block and a few weeks later went to the farm to pull the old engine and strip the original parts off the original engine to put on the new short block! Everything worked last season and then the last time I used it the battery went dead?
So I once again I looked on the internet for help and everyone was pointing towards a bad stator as well as OOPS So I pulled the engine and stripped it down to pull the flywheel and when I got the blower housing off I seen small pieces of magnets I pulled the flywheel and seen the magnets were damaged as well as the stator so I went back to the internet looking for magnets and apparently they don’t sell them? So I called OOPS and inquired about the magnets and after giving the all the specs they said no you have to buy a new flywheel, I said ok how much he told me what the part number was and I said that’s not my flywheel he said no that’s what you have if you have the upgrade ignition I said I think I do I purchased it from OOPS and he said yes I see it here he then say well I should not even run with that flywheel I said it seemed to run ok? So after more checking he said I have no idea how it was running because everything says it will not work? So I said if your 1000% sure that’s what I need I will order the flywheel and stator, he said yes I’m sure so I ordered it installed it and the new stator and fired it up seemed ok after about ten minutes the mower died and I put a jump pack on it and tried to start it again and it started blowing fuses!
I unplugged the stator and it stopped blowing fuses well after diagnosing the problem is the incorrect flywheel they assured me would work with the new engine threw everything out of balance and now the crank wobbles around about an 1/8 inch in the block!
Called OOPS today and spoke with the assistant manager told him step by step of all these transactions and where I was told that all I needed was the ignition modules after the original spark box failed and then shortly after the original engine failed and I no other reason to believe it was anything more than being old and worn out!
Well now I have a new engine with one season on it and it’s junk because they were either to lazy or to ignorant to give me the proper information even after I brought up the discrepancy with the new ignition at the beginning before ordering it because I seen two different threads one said change the flywheel the other said no do I asked and was told no you don’t need a new flywheel!!!
I have to say I’m just over joyed know that my original engine would probably still be running if they would have give me the proper information at the beginning!
Now I’m setting her with a couple thousand dollars spent and still no mower!
And the real nice assistant mangersays well I think it’s ridiculous that two years later you would call about this
And says I’m ending this call 😂
I never raised my voice cussed yelled anything!
And he hung up!

Great customer service, i had a delay in shipping due to the engine being out of stock and i was very please regardless that i was called to be notify that there will be a slight delay in shipping. Just because of that small gesture, i will be a customer forever

Purchased a Kohler coil from them to repair engine. Received the coil and installed it and the engine still wouldn't fire. Thinking it must be something else, I took the engine to a professional small engine repair shop. $488.09 later, after they installed another coil, the engine was fixed. They said the coil I received was defective. The coil I bought from OPEengines.com for $85 ended up costing me also $500. If their coil had been a quality product, my engine would have been repaired for $85, for $488.09, and I'd had it running 3 weeks earlier. Don't mess with these people.

I ordered motor for Craftsman LT2000 Briggs and Stratton mower with numbers 1P677 3373 G6 11034117D at 19.5 hp..... I got 33R877 0092 G1 190813ZD at 19 hp.... Motor has less hp and doesn't fit mower. ALSO has side exaust while original has front exaust. I was told motor lawn tractor would need no modifications and motor did not fit in tractor with out lots of modifications. I was lied to and do not do business with them.

Placed order for part, received email 2 days later stating part was back ordered for 8-12 business days. Waited one week and called for status update. They stated part had not shipped from distributor in Ohio and would arrive at their store on Tuesday of the next week and then would ship out to me. Contacted the following Thursday for status update. They stated the part had not shipped from distributor in Texas and would arrive at their store on Tuesday of next week. I asked can you not just drop ship the part? They stated we cant ship something we don't have and we cant drop ship. I asked for a full refund and went to another company and ordered the same part for the same price and received UPS tracking number for overnight delivery 2 hrs after order. Going to do an awesome review for them now.
