I recently purchased the Onyx Trading course as someone completely new to trading, and honestly, it’s been such a great place to start.
I had no real background or understanding before this, so I was a bit nervous going in — but the way the course is broken down step by step makes everything feel so much more manageable. Each lesson is clear, easy to follow, and explained in a way that actually makes sense (which I didn’t expect when it comes to trading!).
What I’ve loved most is how digestible it all is. I never feel overwhelmed, and I can go at my own pace while still feeling like I’m genuinely learning and building confidence.
It doesn’t feel overly complicated or intimidating — just practical, supportive, and beginner-friendly. If you’re new to trading like I am, I’d definitely recommend it as a starting point.

I'll start by saying that I'll take full responsibility for not doing enough research into how much time you really need to invest into this training program. For starters the program is just a collection of 15 min videos. No one on one guidance and the coaching is group zoom calls and discord chats filled with 100s of other students. This will set you back about $8,500AUD just to access the material. Once accessed you waive all rights to refund. I accept that ive agreed to these terms and thats on me. As a shift worker doing 14hrs for consecutive weeks (explained in detail to the American salesperson) i was told an hour a day is all that needed. Its realistically more than that to get your head around what you need to understand and consistently be immersed in this trading world. Better suited for the 9-5 individuals, part time workers and stay at home parents etc.
There are MANY successful people using the program but just be aware that its a substantial investment in money AND time, so if you're looking to get into trading then this a good platform but not suited to everyone.
Ive struggled to get a response from any of the provided email addresses/coaches about help or advice before I wrote off the substantial investment as a loss and a lesson in buying things impulsively.
Ill continue to persist with the program as its a ALOT of money. Good luck to future buyers and I hope you're more successful than myself.

Yes, there’s a cost to join — but that’s called investing in yourself. And they even help you look at different ways to manage or plan your payments if needed. It’s never pushy. It’s always your decision. No pressure tactics, no forcing you into anything.

For the people who say “it didn’t work,” sometimes we need to be honest with ourselves — trading requires discipline and accountability. The education is there. The structure is there. We still have to execute properly.

I haven't yet left my 9-5 but I can clearly see that if I continue with this team I will. This experience has taught me so much, and I’m genuinely grateful for what I’ve learned.

The amount of information you get from Nick and his team is beyond what i thought. I have done trading before and it never worked. I had no guidance, no strategy and no mindset. After being with Onyx for 2 weeks, im more knowledgable now than i was in 4 months on my own. Ive switched my mindset, i know my strategy, and i have the guidance i needed to believe in myself. I was sceptical at first, but after talking to the team, i knew i was in good hands. I can’t thank Nick and his team enough, this is a pivotal point in my trading career. Watch this space!

I came into this course with very little knowledge of the markets, and over the past year I’ve gained a solid understanding of how trading works. I’m still learning every day, but the progress I’ve made in such a short time has been huge.

If you want to learn about trading, Onyx Trading education is the way to go. The system/course Is split up in sections and teaches you the essentials from how to get started over technical analysis, the mindset, different strategies all the way to "how to choose prop firms" and get set up. The course is well structured and the videos are easy to follow. Nick doesn't sugarcoat anything. You got to put the work in to be successful. Very helpful is also the community with additional course material, regular zoom calls, trade breakdowns, weekly reviews, etc. Nick and his team are very active in the community and quick to respond to any questions you might have. Very happy to be part if it.

Nick and the team are the best at what they do. I dont go around just buying any course available online but this one was different!
Proper in-depth education, clear communication and guidance throughout.
Probably the best side hustle available at this point of time and for a while to come in my opinion.

I loved the training. I found that Nick explains things in a way that I can understand and he gets back to you so promptly if you have a question, so you are not left hanging when you are new. I would really recommend the course to anyone, and I am very excited for 2026!

I’ve been working in corporate for 25 years and I can sniff out someone who isn’t genuine, I NEVER click on Facebook adverts and certainly wasn’t interested in learning how to trade before seeing Nick online but something was just different with him - Nicks ads weren’t overly edited, he speaks like a normal bloody person and I just connected with him. One thing I liked was he NEVER made income promises or guarantees, he told me he can only guarantee a good experience and good education and that is exactly what I’ve experienced. Thank you Onyx Trading Education and Nick Deflorio for being a good bunch.

I usually don’t review stuff but this one deserves it. From day 1 it just felt different. Content is clear and Nicko doesn’t sugarcoat anything. Onyx is legit, they have the support and the content that just clicks for a newbie like me, one thing I would recommend is they try keep the jargon a little more beginner at the start but honestly thats the only constructive feedback ive got.

Mate, I hovered on this for MONTHS. I kept saying “nah this is gonna be another online scam.” But I gave it a go and honestly I’m glad I did. The support team is insanely helpful and the teaching style is easy to follow even when you are green as I am. Trading was daunting but I thought if Nick can do it successfully, I think I can if he shows me the ropes. Happy I took the leap of faith, ive passed an evaluation with a major prop firm and I made my first payout within 3 months, honestly I thought it would take a lot longer.

Honestly I wasn’t sure at first. Saw Nick’s vids all over FB and thought “yeah alright mate, sure.” But after actually watching the content he provided, I took the leap, was scared shitless but I can say it’s the real deal. The way he explains things just… clicks. Not confusing, not full of jargon. I’m actually learning for once.

Whether you’re a beginner looking to understand the basics or an intermediate trader wanting to refine your skills, this course offers great value. The discord community is amazing. Very grateful that I joined this group.

I have to say I kind of gave up on doing this for a while because I thought I wasn’t good enough to do this. But Nick never gave up on me and just told me to watch and learn throughout the course and just ask for help. Honestly he’s legit and straightforward and gave me confidence to pass the evaluation.
