My experience with OVS was amazing! I took ENG4U during the summer to get ahead and absolutely loved the experience. My teacher responded very quickly and had amazing feedback. The platform was easy and understandable to work which made the experience all the more enjoyable! I highly recommend this course and platform to anyone looking to complete an online course!

The best part about taking OVS is the fact that I could watch all the lessons whenever I want and how ever many times I wanted. This helped me with making sure I was including all the course material in my assignments and going back to study for the exam. My teacher was very fast when responding to emails and marking assignments/tests. Along with this, the practice tests and exams make studying super helpful. Overall, I will be taking more courses!

I go to school in Alberta, but wanted to do grade 12 English with Ontario. This curriculum was easy to follow and understand, and the teacher replied very quickly and supported me through any questions I had. The IT team was also very helpful when I struggled to submit any of my assignments. Assignments were marked quickly and carefully as well, which is very helpful when using feedback to do better. Overall, I would highly recommend OVS for ENG4U as it supported my learning and allowed me to finish high school English very strongly.

Test are way too long and questions are very incoherent and inconsistent. Response times are way too long and unhelpful. Everything is just copied and pasted from the emails to the course material to the tests. Would not recommend. (I am choosing to stay anonymous, but these experiences are genuine and real)

Amazing experience with this online school.
Teachers mark assignments within a day, making the course more enjoyable, motivating and efficient. I strongly recommend it for anyone interested in taking an online course

I had a great experience with OVS. They were very responsive and helpful throughout the entire course and I received an amazing education through them. I highly recommend OVS to everyone as they really are the best!!

It was fantastic to take FSF3U with OVS. My instructor was incredibly helpful in providing guidance, instructions, and teaching the lesson modules. She would always promptly mark assignments and respond to any questions/emails in a timely manner and was incredibly understanding and kind. I really loved being able to take this course from the comfort of my own home too. The online practice was quite helpful in preparing me for the actual evaluations! Student success was also helpful! This course has been added to my transcript and I look forward to taking FSF4U next semester!

I took HFA4U (Health and Nutrition) at Ontario Virtual School to fulfill a non-STEM requirement for my university applications, and the experience was excellent. The management team always responded to my inquiries regarding prerequisites and the OUAC process within a day, which was incredibly helpful. The platform itself was intuitive, and the detailed rubrics made it clear what was expected, allowing me to successfully complete the course with confidence. I highly recommend OVS for peers who are looking to fulfill their non-STEM required course, like me, or take an extra course they were unable to take at their day school.

I had a positive experience with ovs doing grade 12 chemistry. I needed to take this course to fulfil a prerequisite for a university program and found that the content well prepared me for my science courses. I enjoyed the flexibility that ovs provides allowing me to do course material on my own time, in the comfort of my own home. My instructor marked all my assignments quickly and tries helping me as much as possible.

I took SPH3U (Grade 11 Physics) with OVS and had a great experience from start to finish. The course was clear, well laid out, and easy to follow, which really helped make some of the harder topics more understandable. The website was simple to navigate and had everything I needed in one place. My teacher was supportive, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond whenever I had questions. Tests and exams were marked and returned really fast, which kept me on track and motivated. Overall, the course was the right mix of challenging but manageable, and I actually enjoyed the process of learning physics through OVS. I’d definitely recommend OVS for SPH3U or any other course!

As a grade 12 student who was worried about my learning experience and grades for university I was very pleased with taking OVS. I was able to take my time completing my work while ensuring I learn all of the concepts in the course fully. Overall, very happy with the course and the support from the school that lead to my success.

Taking ENG4U with OVS was a great experience because of the flexibility to work at my own pace and quick, reliable feedback from my teacher. The reason I chose OVS instead of my regular day school is because it allowed me to complete my credit on my own timeline. The online resources within the program were very useful to ensure my assignments were done properly and well. Also, the support from my teacher was outstanding; whenever I had questions, I got quick, helpful responses. Overall, everything went how I planned it, if not better; this included having my final grade in report card form and being ready to send it to OUAC.

I thought the lessons were a bit confusing at times, and sometimes the assignments were difficult to comprehend in terms of wording. However, my teacher made it possible to understand everything. He always answered my questions and took a short time marking my tests. I found the course website to be easy to use, and I enjoyed not being in a rush to learn. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would honestly do it again.

Great experience! I recommended it to some of my friends, in my opinion it’s way better than average school as you get a whole year to learn and understand the concepts in your classes.

The course was great! there was not a lack of course work, and the optional assessments were great for reviewing content that you were not familiar with. I liked that fact that you could work at your own pace, and the support from the chat was fast and effective. I really enjoyed this course and felt like a learned a lot.

I completed the NBE3U English course this summer, and I loved it! I loved being able to work at my own pace, and there was zero pressure to complete evaluations within a time limit. The lessons were well organized and related well to the assignments, test, and final exam. My teacher was amazing; she responded to any emails within hours and handed back evaluations within a day. I would recommend Ontario Virtual School to anyone, and I will definitely be completing another course in the future :)
