I was hired for the Insurance CSR position. Everything was going great. All of a sudden, they told me that I have to resign from my previous job. I did that but I could have handled 2 jobs pretty easily.
Anyways, 2 weeks after joining, I was let go for no apparent reason. Now I am not left with even a single job let alone 2.

I have been with Edge for four years now. My Edge ambassador is an invaluable part of my team. She does a lot of tasks that allow us to have more time to take care of the patients that we have in the office. Having somebody with excellent work ethics, and who is grateful to be a part of our team is not too common these days. My Edge virtual assistant handles all my new patient communications. That is important to me because my marketing expenditures would not yield a good ROI if my new patient communications are lacking or the person at the office who is answering them is not fully focused on that task. My Edge ambassador does new patient verification, graphic design and social media posts. She makes calls and handles questions and if we are short in the office one day, she would receive all new patient and existing patient calls. I would not work without her.

Our second ambassador has been with us for more than two and a half years. An attorney based in Pakistan, he provides invaluable support in our commercial lines department. He reviews complex certificate of insurance requests, performs policy checking, assists with quoting, and handles endorsements across multiple carriers. His expertise, accuracy, and consistency have elevated the level of service we’re able to deliver.

Moreover, the communication and responsiveness from Edge throughout the engagement were commendable. They acted as a transparent and proactive partner, promptly coordinating interviews, responding to feedback, and facilitating seamless integration.

⚠️ Caution: EDGE has a 60-day cancellation policy. If you end your service with them — even if it’s because the admin they provided was incompetent despite months of training — you are still obligated to pay for another 60 days.

That means if the placement doesn’t work out, you’re essentially penalized for their failure. This is not industry standard for overseas help.

Two weeks or even four weeks of severance would be fair. But two full months — nearly $4,300 in my case — is unreasonable and feels like a money grab.

I went in knowing this clause existed but didn’t think it would matter. I’ve had two overseas VAs for four and five years who worked out wonderfully.

Still, there were repeated errors many time per day causing issues with patients, staff, and adding many hours to our workload rather than reducing it.

EDGE also represented that this admin was a pharmacist. I cannot say for certain, but I strongly doubt this was accurate, given that she regularly asked very basic questions about medications that any trained pharmacist would know.

Our contact/coordinator at EDGE, was kind and helpful. And the admin was sweet and pleasant. But this cancellation policy is the dealbreaker. If you have to cancel because of EDGE’s own issues appropriately identifying and training candidates, you will still be forced to pay for 60 days of service you don’t receive.

As a fledgling growing ophthalmology clinic in a rural community, I had some true pain points and HR needs. Although initially hesitant to try a virtual assistant, I am so glad I took the leap of faith -- first with one front desk Edge hire and now with a virtual biller. My two Edge employees have been all-stars -- courteous, well-educated, and eager to please. The interview process was stream-lined, and onboarding was a breeze. I even convinced my dentist husband to hire a virtual front desk worker through Edge for his practice. I highly recommend Edge if you are looking for some virtual help!

Phenomenal experience with Edge! We have 8 associates and could not be happier. The staff members they bring are always very high quality. Best part is - the Pakistani candidates are doctors which is SO helpful in a healthcare environment. They answer calls at a much higher level than regular front desks we get here in the USA. My coordinator, Sajjal, is also amazing. Always there to jump in so I don’t need to worry about the operations / HR headaches. Overall 10/10 experience and could not recommend them more.

I have been using Edge services for over 2 years and have been extremely happy. The company takes ownership of training their staff, dealing with IT and other issues and higher ups are always available to meet and address any concerns. I can't recommend them enough.

Edge team took care of everything starting with offering several candidates to choose from. Once I selected my pick they took care of all the paperwork and helped us get set up for remote work. It was me who struggled a bit at the beginning with the virtual part and that made for a little bumpy onboarding of my new Virtual Assistant. Once I improved my communication skills I’m happy to state that I can’t imagine functioning in my practice without Mahum. She answers the phone, coordinates the patient schedules, preps my charts, communicates with patients regularly about results and pharmacies about scripts. Once my practice expands I’ll turn to Edge for another talent.
