unable to find electricity deal recommended from this
I was recommended to sign up with this to get the best electricity deal as per energymadeeasy but I couldn’t actually find or get the deal on origin’s website. So now I just have spam emails and not this extra deal

Loyalty is a 2 way street
Car insurance offer came in perfect time when I’d received renewal notice with substantial increase for no obvious reason. 2nd substantial increase in 2 years. Called original insurer to query and got it knocked down but was still higher than quote through OBS offer. Looked at reviews and took up new insurance on offer.

Loyalty sucks
After some confusion with the system occasioned by lack transparency by the energy regulator, I have finally found a reasonable energy deal. After Onebigswitch took me to Origin, ACTEWAGL contacted me with a better offer which I accepted. Origin then contacted me with an improved offer which, in turn, I accepted. It seems company loyalty in the energy industry is a bonus for energy retailers at the consumer's expense. My advice - shop around regularly.

I appreciate you sharing your feedback. I understand it can be confusing to see "exclusive" offers on a government platform like Energy Made Easy (EME). To clarify, EME is a mandatory registry managed by the Australian Energy Regulator. While retailers must list their public plans there, they often also list the "restricted" or private offers we negotiate. The reason our offer appears as the "winner" on the government site is simply because their independent algorithm has confirmed that the group-discounted rate we’ve negotiated is cheaper than the standard plans available to the general public.
One Big Switch is a private consumer network, not a government body, and we receive no taxpayer funding. We use the collective bargaining power of our 1.1 million members to force retailers to compete for our business, which is why we also look for savings in other areas like insurance and telco. Retailers pay us a fee for this service, but our rules ensure this never inflates your price; in fact, the goal is to bypass the "loyalty tax" that many retailers charge individual customers.
Our mission is to ensure the consumer wins by providing a service that individuals often don't have the time or scale to do themselves: negotiating from a position of power. I’m happy to discuss any specific plan details with you further if that would help.

Not even received the bonus gift card after so many sent emails you scammed me and my mum our electricity gone up over 300 per quarter not even had the decency to reply worse scam out there will tell all my family and friends to never believe you fraudulent site and will contact consumer affairs
