I was sold a product that was more…
I was sold a product that was more expensive than what I was paying with my previous health care provider. I feel deceived.
When customers call in to say that they want to reduce their costs expense, they want to be given all information to make an informed decision and choice. There was so much information left out and I am now paying then price (no pun intended, very angry about this) I am now stuck with health insurance that I’m paying $30 more per fortnight than I was sold. Not good enough.
Train your staff to be honest and upfront not to get the sale.

We completed a formal investigation with the provider to understand why your premium differs from the initial expectations. Their records indicate the quote was provided before the industry-wide rate rise on April 1st and was based on a declared 0% Lifetime Health Cover (LHC) loading. Once the provider received your official clearance certificate, it confirmed an applicable LHC loading. This, combined with the annual rate adjustment, resulted in the higher fortnightly cost.
Regarding your concerns about transparency, the provider’s review of the sign-up process found that the information they provided was based on the details disclosed at the time. However, they hear your frustration loud and clear, the transition between providers should be seamless and transparent. We passed your feedback regarding the clarity of the sign-up process and staff training directly to the provider. This is to ensure that potential variables like LHC verification and upcoming rate rises are communicated more effectively to avoid surprises like this in the future.
