I will never use this company again

I will never use this company again. They advertised that a shuttle service was available only for us to find out that it was not. We nearly missed our flights. They are not offering a refund for the additional expenses incurred let alone the stress we encountered. Customer service is not helpful.

DO NOT TRUST ONAIR!

I wish I could leave negative stars. My experience with OnAir is the single worst parking experience I've ever had.

On February 18th I made a reservation to park at Channelside garage (near the port of Tampa) from March 16 through March 26. I paid the $151.65 cost in full at that time and received a confirmation email with parking instructions.

On March 16th I received a text message with a reminder about parking and the instructions to follow. When we arrived at the garage we were initially denied entry, but when I showed the email confirmation the employee let us through.

We spent more than 30 minutes circling the levels of the garage we were told could park on, but there was not a single space available. In fact, dozens of cars were illegally parked in whatever place they could fit, including at the end of aisles and in marked off areas.

We called OnAir only to be told that we had to follow the instructions and only park on certain levels, when we had literally JUST told the rep we had done. She said they had no control over the garage and couldn't offer parking. The only positive to come out of this is that she refunded the $151.65.

At this point we were in shock and had no idea what to do. We were due to board our cruise within the next few hours and had no place to park. We don't live in the area and had no idea where to go. The entire point of making a reservation with OnAir was so that we had a guaranteed spot!

We were about to drive to the airport to park there and take a shuttle back to the port, but as we were exiting the garage we asked one of the employees if they had any suggestions. They directed us to a garage a couple of blocks away.

Thankfully that garage (Cumberland garage) had availability and we were able to find a space to park. However, it cost us $275.00, nearly double what I had paid to OnAir.

I have asked OnAir twice now to reimburse us for the additional cost we incurred when they broke their contract with us for a reserved, guaranteed spot. Not surprisingly they are not responding.

I hope our story lets other travelers know to never trust OnAir nor to give them any money, as it's very likely they won't have the promised and guaranteed space to park.

We’re truly sorry for the experience you had—this sounds incredibly stressful Lara, especially with a cruise departure timeline. On Air Parking is a reservation platform similar to how travel sites work with airlines or hotels; we’re allocated a set number of spaces by the facility and do not oversell beyond that, but the on-site inventory and management are ultimately handled by the garage itself and outside of our control. While we’re able to refund the reservation in situations like this, we understand how frustrating the added cost must have been, and we’ll be following up with the facility manager to better understand what happened and help prevent this moving forward. We truly appreciate you sharing this and hope we can provide a much better experience in the future.

I arrived at a hotel parking lot

I arrived at a hotel parking lot. No signs. Unclear where to park. No shuttle was parked there. I entered the hotel and asked the front desk what to do. They told me to fill out some paperwork even though I had already done everything online. They had to call a shuttle which took over 10 minutes to arrive. It didn't seem like a well run operation. I wouldn't use them again.

As noted in the reservation, guests can park in any available space and check in at the front desk with their confirmation to receive a parking voucher, and while On Air Parking handles the reservation, the hotel may have its own check-in steps as well. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes, though we’ll be sure to share your feedback about signage and clarity with the facility, and we hope your next experience is a smoother one.

The On Air Parking associated with the St. Louis Hampton/Hilton Inn

The On Air Parking associated with the Hilton at St. Louis Airport has the worst operator. You will receive a message from On Air Parking giving you a phone number to call to request the shuttle when you land, I had to call this number more than 50 times and never got someone on the phone. Finally I called the actual Hilton hotel and finally got someone on the line and they could not have been more demeaning and disrespectful. I highly suggest spending your hard earned money at a different establishment.

Shuttle pickup is typically within about 5–10 minutes once requested, so the difficulty reaching someone is not something we commonly hear and we’ll look into whether there may have been phone issues at the facility.

We just tried calling and left a message, as we’d really like to learn more about what happened. We see this was your second reservation (with a different facility previously), and we hope that experience was a better one—happy to help you find a smoother option for your next trip.

The hotel never received the…

The hotel never received the confirmation. I arrived to check in and they had nothing to confirm me. I tried calling the number on my receipt and it was closed for the weekend. I tried the chat feature which was useless. There was a number to text and no response. How do you not have a number to call 24x7 for issues like this.

Flew into GR

Flew into GR - landed at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. In the middle of a snowstorm. Minus 4 degrees temp. Called for a shuttle ride. Was informed they did not have anyone available to pick us up! They finally said they would send an Uber. Small sedan showed up- to pick up 8 people with luggage! Informed them that wouldn’t work. They said they would send someone else. Never did! The person was very rude, and refused to help us.
Two hours later we finally got our own Uber. Still had to drive another hour in a snowstorm to get home at midnight.
They did not fulfill their obligation, nor offer a refund.
Will obviously never use them again!!

Before I booked it stated 24/7 free shuttle. Received confirmation stating there was an $8 reservation fee for shuttle. Email instructions also very confusing had numerous things stating where to park and it was different in both sections

It’s not worth it use the spot across the street

This would not be something I ever try again not only was it difficult to find because there’s absolutely zero lights turned on even though the parking lot is full of light poles with lights on them, but there was nobody there and no way to figure out where you’re supposed to park or anything in the dark then I learned that the shuttle doesn’t start until after I needed to be at the airport so I had to get a Lyft to come get me but in that dark parking lot, I didn’t want to sit and wait very long so I paid extra for one. It cost me $20. There was no way for me to check in and make sure I was at the right parking lot. I just had to hope my car would be there when I got back. I will not be using this and I will not recommend it to anyone.

I wasn”t able to find the parking


I wasn”t able to find the parking structure. But I really want to highlight their customer service. This was the first time a company actually followed up with me after I wasn’t able to use the service. They reached out, checked in, and made things right. Honestly, I was in awe. Nowadays, when something doesn’t work out, you usually just take the loss, but not here. They followed up and rectified the situation, which made a huge difference. I was very happy with the outcome and will definitely use their service again for my next trip. Special thanks to Aja for following up and taking care of me

Returning shuttle disaster!

Parking and getting to the airport was fine, however returning was unnecessarily difficult. We called for a shuttle twice, once when we got our bags and once after 20 minutes of waiting. Was told the 2nd phone call that they will contact the driver then hung up. Ended up calling an uber after 30 minutes of waiting outside in the 40°F weather!

I will not park in these parking lots

I will not park in these parking spot. I was over charged, because my husband paid by his phone and it's impossible to get anyone on the phone for a refund. Left 4 messages. It's too much of a hassle.

Hopefully of value to someone in the future

Typically, I do not submit reviews unless something seems out of the norm and there is potential value for future people to know. Subsequently, this is the case. Off site Atlanta Airport parking was arranged and prepaid through OnAirParking, with the parking location being the Quality Suites Atlanta Airport East. Confirmation email, shuttle pick up phone number and hours of operation all established.

Upon return to the airport, the shuttle phone number was called and a recording said to call the Quality Suites East desk for shuttle assistance. Attempting this, no one would answer the phone and another recording indicated for shuttle pickup assistance, call the shuttle pick up number. After an hour standing on the curb, we finally got someone to answer at the Quality Suites East desk. Their directive was to wait for the shuttle driver to call us and the shuttle would be at the airport shortly. After almost another hour at the curb, no call was received from the shuttle driver. With an obvious issue at hand, we decided to hire a taxi to get to our vehicle at the parking lot. This OnAirParking was a broken system, wasting hours of our time and money, which was confirmed to be the norm via other shuttle carriers at the airport. After we retrieved our vehicle and were an hour from the airport, the grand finale occurred. We received a phone call from the shuttle service asking if we needed a pickup at the airport.

Coincidentally, after returning home, I looked up “on air parking” in the BBB website and there are numerous similar complaints. I hope this communication helps out someone in the future.

Horrible experience and On Air Parking…

Horrible experience and On Air Parking was not helpful at all. My family waited more than an hour for the hotel shuttle and On Air said not their problem and unwilling to offer any credit at all. Do not use.
