Just had our ome home charing port fitted today. Haven’t used it to charge the car yet, but I just wanted to mention the brilliant service from Taya.
She was lovely, on time and really helpful.

Completely useless

I hate leaving negative reviews but I've been trying to contact this company for months now without success. The product technology is great on paper but the reality is that it rarely works properly, doesn't keep its' charge and there appears to be no customer service to get assistance. Please contact me if you see this review.

I was an early Kickstarter investor and waited a very long time (much longer than projected) to get my “Ding” which when received wouldn’t work on my home wifi. It took many tries to figure out it was a lemon. Return emails (the sole way to communicate with Ome) took many days for a reply stretching out the painful process. I sent back the doorbell and received a new one a couple of months later by post. This one worked, hurrah for a couple of weeks until it didn’t. The OME app won’t allow me to send a message so I have written OME through the website several days ago (5) no reply yet. Frustrated. (Please note that the person I dealt with when I could reach her was lovely. )

Two people can't log into the same doorbell, so only one member of the family can access the bell. Not terribly helpful. Its gone wrong a few times and support has been unpredictable and slow. I wouldn't buy one, there are better bells on the market.

It works just as described, very helpful at home and when away.

Does not function as advertised.
Poor WiFi connection of the doorbell.
Delayed phone call notification of visitor.

Good looking doorbell, you can take with you. Works brilliantly. Friendly and helpful support department.

Build quality is lower than expected. Volume of Ome is too low. Sound is not customizable and thereis no easy way to fix the speaker to the wall. Would not recommend this product.

I've had loads of deliveries arriving just before Christmas and it would have been a nightmare without this doorbell.

It was really easy to set up and I love that it looks really understated and stylish yet works brilliantly with my smartphone.

Highly recommended!

Happy to support a startup effort, but the quality of the product is a bit cheaper built than I expected. The button action doesn't always work right, with the button on the back of the speaker getting stuck in the housing, thus needing to wiggle it to get it to release.

Hoping their products continue to get better.

First time we had to charge it after a few days. But now, it stands more than 2 months.
Sometimes, enven if I am at home, I am alerted by the message app that someone is ringing.
Discret & efficient. We foget it because it belongs to our home and life today.

Since you originally announced Ome, formerly known as Ding, many have entered your market. There are now others who offer similar products.

Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings for example are now established names in this competitive voice assistant and home automation market. Ome has to acknowledge that by supporting at least one.

Chime is not loud enough and absolutely needs to support personalized tones.

Your new name is just plain awful, Ome... For crying out loud it's a door bell. Nothing to help with marketing your product. I would have milked your British background: Jeeves, Jarvis, Mr Belvedere, Charles the Ringer,

Finally, you are unknown in North America. No reviews online, no adverts, nothing... That is a 'must' these days. Why not outline the advantages of NOT using a video doorbell? Geez.

The principal is great, although I do find that it is sometimes slow to connect with my phone so the person at the door has gone by the time I respond. Also the speaker in the house could do with a foot or moving the input wire as will not sit on a table, a small change would make this much better

I helped fund Ome (Or Ding as it was formerly known) on Indiegogo, so have been on the journey with the product for quite some time. When I received my system I was very impressed with the thought and care that clearly went into it. I did have an issue with the chime not functioning correctly after a few weeks of use and had to send it back for a replacement, which was sorted out quickly and efficiently by the support team.

I hope Ome will go onto producing more smart products for the home and building on their impressive start with the doorbell.

My "Ding" looks nice -- but it's definitely not as advertised. The whole idea is that, when someone presses the doorbell, it (a) rings on your phone and (b) you can speak with the person at the door via your phone when you're away from home. Well, (a) works (after a long delay), but (b) only works when you're connected to wifi at home! Totally useless.

I haven't installed it because they don't have it coded to ring two chime speakers simultaneously yet, and I need to know when the front doorbell rings in two different locations on the property. Also, I'm having buyer's remorse since the competition all have video doorbells now.

Never been able to pair my Ome with my home network. Support just gave me the same advice as I saw on website but it does not work. (this was prior to Ome when it was Ding) Sits in its box in the cupboard waiting to one day go out with the rubbish.
