Página web del gobierno canadiense, usan el nombre “official-canada-eta.com” y cuando uno la utiliza, a la hora de cobrar, cobran 10 veces la tarifa oficial!!!!

While it's not an outright scam, you will have to pay more then 10x what the price for an eTA really is. Stay away and make sure you get one from the official Canada.ca website

While this is not technically a scam, the website has a very high ranking on google along with convincing graphics that lead the user into thinking they've reached the official Canadian gov site. You will notice there is a price at the end of the process which is about 17 times higher than the Canadian government charge. I did not notice this as I was in a hurry so here's my experience. My ETA was in no way delivered any faster than a normal one would have been ( I know this because it didn't arrive for a week and I had to re-apply via the official site on the day of my flight and it was approved faster!). The customer service stated it was a premium service that is checked for errors to prevent delay but they didn't know the status of my original ETA when I pressed them. They were happy to refund me 50% which I thought was something at least. I do think it's a matter for the trading standards to prevent such sites from competing with official goverment ones though.

Prompt action, and when I emailed a question I received the information quickly.

Scam! My parents got caught it this. However the visa you get is real. But yeah it charges you waaay more

SCAM site charges 17 x more than the official visa price. Site is made to look like the official government visa site. Preys on unsuspecting travellers.

Worst service. They charge you 5x the real cost of the ETA saying they are the "official" site of the government but they are not!!! Be careful!

Si la empresa sabe que tipo de ciudadanos requieren visa para ingresar a Canadá, deberian actuar con honestidad y orientarlos en la necesidad o no del trámite.

Toman ventaja de personas que no saben que no necesitan sus servicios. Cobran 16 veces más lo que cobra el portal del gobierno. Por alguna razón pueden tener el nombre "oficial" aún no siendo oficiales.

Do not use!! This is the crazies scam I've ever encounter. I am a mexican citizen in the US and I was trying to find out if I needed a visa to enter Canada. I researched "official visa eta" and this company came in the results. Their web page seemed legit and they said it was necessary for me to get the eTA (which I didnt). It was the night before my flight so I purchase the thing. The next morning I realize it's a scam and I email them asking them to stop the request. I hadn't received any eTA yet, and I have even already entered canada. They reply that it wasn't their fault I thought they were the official government page and offer to give me a 25% refund, which I rejected. Then they offer 40, which I rejected again. Is not even about the money, is about principles. How is it possible that there is a company called "official canada eTa" and is not from the government, and how is it legal for them to charge 17x the real price for people that got tricked by their name.

Detta är fel sida för att ansöka om ETA till Kanada. De tar 80 dollar extra i avgift. Bättre att ansöka på den officiella sidan till priset av 7 dollar.

Ask a question .Very quickly got an answer but then followed up after they had obviously done more research with another answer which I was pleased to say answered my original question with a positive .All to do with an eTA query .

I was very pleased with the handling of my application for an Eta. I was advised here in the Cayman Islands that to obtain an Eta it only takes 15 minutes, However upon applying I realized it possibly could take up to 3 days. My appointment begins Thursday. So I emailed asking for help and within few minutes Jayne assisted me and relieved me of my concerns. Superb service within great timing. Thank you.
