I’ve been a NY&Co Closet member for half a year, not my first clothing rental company. I was happy with the clothes and selections. The turn around time for another package was slower than others. However, the company decided to change warehouses without informing that there would be a delay in my shipment. I waited for almost a month before I called to inquire. Very disappointed. I have requested to cancel several times and they have not confirmed if I’m no longer going to be charged

I'm a first-time buyer, and I ordered a dress from this store. After waiting for about a week of its 'processing' I saw that it said the dress was suddenly out of stock despite me buying it while it was still in stock. I wish they were honest about this before I purchased from this store.

Cheap clothes and it shows in the quality. Takes 36 days for items purchased online to arrive. If it has to be returned, they’ll subtract $7 for shipping. No thank you, I’ll go to a brick and mortar store.

I cannot reach not one representative over the phone. They took 1 month to reply to my email and still did not resolve the issue. They sent the wrong item and expect me to pay for shipping and handling to replace it. Weeks later I get an email back from a completely different company after sending 2 more emails and again they could not resolve my issue. It’s been 3 months of this. Time to close my account. This was the most frustrating experience I’ve had with a company.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I feel it borders on fraudulent behavior. They charged my credit card and then took weeks to deliver my clothes. Because I received them past my event date, I had to return them. I returned them on December 7th and today January 2nd, my credit card has STILL not been credited for my refund. This company is either in serious cash trouble or simply fraudulent. BEWARE!!!!!

I ordered 2 outfits only received one . I called several numbers was on hold for an hour. Nobody answers. I also emailed them five times I got no response. This company is the worst. I will never order from them again. I am calling my credit card to dispute the charges.

If anyone pursues a law suit please let me know.

I placed an order on 11/18/22 and it’s 12/28/22 and I still haven’t received some items. I was so very disappointed as these were Christmas gifts and I had to scramble at the last minute to replace them. Their customer service was not helpful and they couldn’t give me anything tangible regarding my order which was in acknowledge status for a few weeks and then processing for another. I’ve been a loyal NYandCompany customer for many many years, but because of this experience, I’ll be taking my money elsewhere next year and cancelling my credit card.

To make a long story short.
Terrible customer service.
Terrible shipping times.
Poor quality in clothes

I never got my package I order on December 8,2022. My payment for the package was taken out of my back account

Wish there were no stars to give because the don’t deserve the 1. Lack of customer service and deplorable shipping! Just let folks know you don’t have the item, what are you doing manufacturing it upon order? NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN! Did I say NEVER???? RIDICULOUS!!!

Ordered 3 things December 3 and as of December 24 they still haven’t shipped. Emailed, called several times and chatted but no response from customer service. Terribly disappointing.

If I could award negative numbers I would. The quality of clothes is deplorable, the size is completely wrong and the shipping dissatisfaction can only be topped by the ineffective dishonest customer service department.

This company is a joke. I've been a customer for at least 20 years now and in the last few years they have gone completely off the rails. The site says orders will arrive in 5-7 days, and they used to, but now, after two weeks, not only was my order still not shipped, but they've not bothered to answer any inquiries. They finally responded the day after my order arrived, which was 3 weeks and a day after I ordered. Their customer service sucks (in store is better). All they do is pretend they haven't ignored you for the last couple weeks and say they don't understand what the problem is because your order has now arrived... they also will not cancel your order once it's placed, even though they didn't ship it until 2 weeks after I requested cancelation because my order was not received in the time promised. The clothes are not up to the standard they used to be, so no big loss not ordering from them again. I've given enough chances, they don't deserve my business anymore.

Update Jan 5th still no shipment!
Now order indicates items are final sale no returns. Wish I had read the reviews before placing an order early December here it's the 22nd still processing. Spoke with customer service stated nothing can be done once you place order unable to cancel. Will not meet deadline still has not shipped

Ordered items, paid for quicker shipping and I have yet to receive them. The worst company ever, better off going to a more reliable online company.

I’m not surprised by all these unfortunate reviews. I placed an order 11/22/22 and here it is one month later and I still don’t have my item. They have my money though!! And anytime I’ve chatted with a rep on the website I’ve been told the same nonsense. “Oh sorry, can’t do anything about it since your order is processing” UNBELIEVABLE! I will never order from this company again. This company should be reported. Taking peoples money and not shipping the product. Don’t tell me my item will arrive in 9 days when it hasn’t even shipped in 30.

Made a purchase the beginning of December- my order is still processing with no status updates. I have emailed customer service and heard nothing back for over a week so I called and was left on hold for over 45 minutes. No one answered- so I sent a second email and nothing! I have tried calling and emailing- nothing. Do not waste your money- it’s apparent this company does not care about service. I haven’t even been issued a refund And we now looking into disputing the charges.

Don't mess with these people! They'll hold your money ransom, never get your items til it's too late and then want to charge you nearly 7 bucks to return the crap! It's a headache don't do business with these people

This New York & Company business model stink bad! The customer experience is no existing. Been on the phone with their customer service line for almost 72 hour and no one is picking. They don't have a customer service obviously. The order tracking they have doesn't appear to be updated on any type of regular basis but yet they had no problem taking the order and charging my card. I am taking them to the BBB it's ridiculous in this day and age a company is being allowed to operate in this manner
