I’m reluctant to write a bad review as I’m sure they are trying their hardest - the chap we met on Marlow market was lovely and the products are really great! However, I placed an order on 5th August and I still haven’t had a delivery (now 13th Oct). I have sent chasing emails but not had a direct reply only a round robin to all saying they’ve had to throw out a batch of kombucha, hence the delay. But it’s been over 2 months now! It would be fine if they would respond directly to my emails. I guess it takes time to brew so would understand

Extremely disappointing customer service and repeated broken promises

I wouldn't recommend ordering directly from Nunc based on my experience, purely because of the appalling customer service and repeated promises that haven't been followed through.

As a nutritional therapist and an everyday consumer, I’m particularly disappointed by my experience with Nunc. I had previously ordered from them and, despite a delay on that occasion, they responded promptly when I contacted them and got the order sent out. Unfortunately, my experience this time has been completely different.

I placed an order directly with Nunc on 27 July for 24 cans of Rose Blush, paying £50.15 after a discount. I received the order confirmation, but the order was never dispatched.

I appreciate that Nunc experienced genuine problems with their canning equipment, and I initially had every sympathy for that. However, what has really disappointed me is the ongoing lack of communication and repeated assurances that weren't followed through.

I was given several updates explaining the production problems and was repeatedly told that orders would be dispatched within particular timeframes. When those dates passed without my order being sent, I contacted Nunc again. On one occasion I was told that Rose Blush orders would start being dispatched the following week. I was happy to give them another opportunity and even offered a practical solution: if they didn't have 24 cans of Rose Blush available, they could make up the order with Ginger Brew, provided the full order was dispatched together.

Andrew said he would check my order the following day and get back to me.

More than a week later, I still hadn't heard anything.

At this point, the issue isn't really the production delay. I can understand equipment breaking and a small business experiencing difficulties. It's the lack of reliable communication, missed commitments and having to repeatedly chase for information that has left me so frustrated.

To make matters worse, during all of this I received a marketing email advertising 20% off Rose Blush - the exact product I had already been waiting weeks to receive. I was subsequently told Nunc weren't currently sending marketing emails, so I have no idea how that happened, but given the circumstances it certainly didn't help.

I genuinely wanted to support Nunc as a previous customer, but based on this experience I would not recommend ordering directly from Nunc, regardless of the quality of their products. Good customer service matters just as much as the product itself, and unfortunately that has been seriously lacking here.

I will endeavour to update this review if Andrew actually ever gets back to me and refunds the order I've waited over 2 months for.

I loved the Nunc brand and haven’t had issues before however this time I ordered 2nd July and still have not received my order. I have emailed three times with no response and the phone number is always busy. Really disappointed in the lack of communication. I will be claiming my money back through my bank and will not order from them again.

Delicious healthy kombucha.

Especially love the ginger brew and the mango - often spread a can over the evening with sparkling water instead of an alcoholic drink. Fab to be supporting an artisan business too.

Hands down the nicest Kombucha I've ever had.

Tastes like a treat but it's full of fantastic healthy fermented green tea.

Doesn't have that incredibly vinegary taste that most do.

I highly recommend you do the Nunc taste test!

Love these drinks. Such a nice alternative to alcohol.
Would prefer a vegan option though.

I recently bought some Nunc from wholefoods and it's honestly the best kombucha I've ever tasted. It's not too acidic like a lot of others, but not too sweet either. Great totally natural ingredients. Will definately be getting this regularly now. Thanks

Great tasting drink. Not sweet. Bought in dry January and discovered a new taste for kombucha.

Some info on health benefits would have been nice.

The delivery was four days past the stated date and the contents, having come from America, were all damaged and dented. Cardboard dividers within the package would have helped. Just hope that the contents taste better than the they look!

Don’t like the taste at all but I can taste the honey which was nice
