I purchased four French silver medals directly from the NumisCorner website. About 24 hours later, I received an email from the company letting me know that one of the items I purchased was no longer available. This was a very unique and attractive silver medal at a good price, so I was disappointed to receive this news. I'm guessing the item sold on a different website (like eBay) and NumisCorner had not yet updated the inventory on their own website.

I want to express dissatisfaction with the recent purchase of an 1812 medal, advertised as authentic on your website. While a certificate of authenticity was provided, I have discovered that the inscription "bronze" on the edges indicates it must be a restrike and not an authentic medal,where photos was not showing on the website
The inscription "BRONZE" (often abbreviated as "BR" or the full word) is a mark found on the edge of many later restrikes of Napoleonic medals produced by the Paris Mint to indicate the material and differentiate them from original strikes.
