Number One Tutor Anmeldelser

We have used Number One Tutor for both of our children, and I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough.

My son was tutored in preparation for his A-Level Maths. Before finding Number One Tutor, we had already tried other tutors and tutoring companies, but the difference in quality became obvious within the first couple of sessions. We started seeing a real improvement in his performance almost immediately, and it honestly made us realise that much of the tutoring we had paid for previously had been a waste of time by comparison.

The quality of teaching at Number One Tutor is outstanding, but what impressed me just as much was the level of care. Their tutors genuinely take an interest in the student, their progress and their wellbeing. It never felt like someone simply turning up for an hour, going through a few questions and leaving. There was real commitment to helping our son succeed.

My only regret is that we didn't find them sooner. Had my son had those extra few months with a Number One Tutor tutor, I genuinely believe he could have achieved the highest possible grade in his A-Level. Nevertheless, he passed well and got into his chosen university, which was ultimately what mattered most.

When it came to our daughter, therefore, we didn't even consider going anywhere else.

She first worked with Number One Tutor for GCSE Statistics in Year 10 and achieved a **Grade 9**. We then continued with them for GCSE Maths in Year 11, where she also achieved a **Grade 9**. Two subjects, two highest possible GCSE grades. I don't think the results could speak much more clearly for themselves.

Of course, no tutor can perform miracles. The student still needs to be willing to work, practise and put the effort in. But when a child is willing to do that, the quality of guidance, teaching and support they receive from Number One Tutor is, in my experience, unmatched.

They are not the cheapest tutoring service available, and I think that is worth acknowledging. But having dealt with numerous tutors and tutoring companies over the past five years, I have learned that cheaper tutoring is not good value if it doesn't produce results. I would much rather pay more for exceptional teaching that genuinely makes a difference.

If I could go back, I would have used Number One Tutor from the beginning with my son. With our daughter, that is exactly what we did — and I think two Grade 9s demonstrate why.

An absolutely outstanding tutoring service, both in the quality of their teaching and in the genuine care they show towards their students. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Constantine is an exceptional maths teacher. My daughter had lost confidence in IB Higher level Maths, getting a 4 in her January mock. Constantine’s dedication, support, skill and enthusiasm led her to achieve a 7 in her final exam, exceeding the grade she needed to meet her offer to study at Oxford. He was tireless in identifying the precise areas that were causing problems, and in helping her to correct them, consistently highly professional, and endlessly supportive. He always responded rapidly to any queries from either of us, was always happy to talk things through, was super organised, and such a pleasure to deal with. The experience was more than we had dared hope for - and we are hugely grateful to him.

Constantine was an incredible tutor throughout both my MYP Maths and IB SL Maths. He explained topics in a much simpler way than I was taught at school, which made them much easier to understand. His lessons always helped me stay ahead in class and gave me a lot more confidence in my maths.

He is very supportive, caring, and extremely experienced. He was always patient and made sure I fully understood each topic before moving on.

Thanks to his guidance and encouragement, I was able to achieve my goal of getting into my first-choice university, King’s College London. I can’t recommend Constantine highly enough to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and genuinely dedicated maths tutor.

Constantine Tucker had a tremendous impact on my academic and university application journey. His expertise, guidance, and commitment to his students were instrumental in helping me achieve a 7 in Mathematics AA HL in the IB exams. He also built an exceptional support team, and through his recommendation I worked with Mateus Figueiredo, who provided invaluable assistance during my application process, which ultimately led to my admissions to the Technical University Munich and the RWTH Aachen University. Constantine’s mentorship, professionalism, and dedication make him an outstanding advisor for any student aiming for top academic and university outcomes.

Constantine and his team are so professional and know how to teach maths in a fun way whilst at the same time being able to relate to teenagers so so well. My son had some A level Further Maths sessions online for a few months as the exams approached. Constantine and his team helped him gain the grade he needed to go to his first choice University to study maths.
I will be recommending this company to friends and family.

Constantine is an exceptional teacher. I cannot recommend him more highly. He has transformed my adolescent son who has gone from hating maths to saying it’s his favorite subject. He is highly skilled, endlessly patient, and can make even the most recalcitrant student engaged, enthusiastic and confident. Life changing.

It was challenging for George to work with my son just a few days before his GCSE English Language exam while a number of tutors previously failed to help him improve his grades. George is very professional and punctual. He is patient yet has a great command of the session with clear ideas and plans on how to efficiently write great exam answers. I can highly recommend.

Number One Tutor is an impeccable company. I had the privilege of being tutored by Constantine, who helped me with studying maths for my International Baccalaureate exams. Constantine is an excellent tutor! He was well prepared for lessons and ensured to teach in an engaging manner. Constantine is able to take complex information and break it down into smaller concepts, that are much simpler to understand. He integrated exam questions within lessons, giving me the opportunity to apply what I learnt. I was struggling with maths prior to being tutored by Constantine. However, after being taught by him, my grades in maths started to improve drastically. With Constantine's expert help, I was able to get into medical school! Thank you Constantine and Number One Tutor for your great help and support!

We engaged Constantine's services three years ago as our Maths tutor. In a matter of days we could see an immediate impact on our 3 teenage boys. They all have varying academic abilities and interests, however they have all thrived academically under his tutelage. This is a testament to Constantine's remarkable skill in bringing the best out of his students. Constantine is not only a sound tutor, he is a mentor and inspires our boys to think and learn with enthusiasm. He ensures that they are fully engaged in their learning, using assignments and presentations. They have all gone on to obtain A*s in their respective Maths exams.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with him. I will wholeheartedly recommend him to any family. Ann

Constantine became involved with tutoring my son during the Covid/home school period. My intention was to just maintain some momentum with his learning. At the time, I was very apprehensive about suggesting even more online learning, as he was already struggling with the online school lessons. However even after Covid times and schools reopened we continued with Constantine's online lessons. From the first meeting, Constantine was like a breath of fresh air, he inspired a genuine interest in maths. My son went from being an average disengaged maths student to excelling in maths and indeed the confidence he gained from achieving in one subject had an amazing knock-on positive effect in all of his other subjects. My son not only achieved a 9 in his maths and an 8 in further maths GCSE’s, he went on to achieve A* in maths and an A in further maths for his A-levels. Remarkably 4 years later he is now about to embark on a mathematics based degree at Warwick University. I would never have believed it possible for my son to enjoy maths so much and indeed this would not have been the case without Constantine’s patience and incredible ability to inspire a passion for learning.

If you're looking for an exceptional maths tutor, look no further than Constantine! As a trainee GCSE/A level maths teacher, I had the pleasure of working with him as my subject mentor. Constantine has a natural gift for teaching - he's able to explain even the most challenging concepts in an accessible and easy-to-understand way. Working with him was an absolute joy, and I learned so much from his expert guidance. I highly recommend Constantine to anyone looking for a tutor who can truly make a difference in their maths education.

Constantine was my mathematics tutor throughout most of high school and I really can't recommend him enough.

He offered clear and concise explanations of mathematical concepts, but what really differentiated him was his ability to inspire an interest in math that extended beyond the classroom.

Despite being very interested in mathematics as a young kid, going into high school, I found myself somewhat lost and uninterested. Constantine's tutoring helped reinvigorate my interest in mathematics and, perhaps even more importantly, confidence in myself and my abilities that extended beyond mathematics and into other subjects as well.

A great mathematics tutor, and an even better person.

Constantine has a gift for teaching!. He helped me with IB maths - and I honestly don’t think I would have passed if it wasn’t for Constantine’s help! Constantine has a way of making difficult concepts easier to understand and tailored classes according to my needs. He was always very encouraging and helped me every step of the way.
I would 100% recommend Constantine to everyone!!
