Nourishy is Australia's first breast milk freeze drying service. We transform mums milk into a 3-year shelf stable powder whilst also retaining all of the milks nutrients. Freeze drying is a gentle process which removes the water content (roughly 87%) from the milk during a process of sublimation. Freeze drying has been used by the medial industry by as far back as the 1950's. Our custom built facility is based in Northgate, QLD and we offer drop off pricing to our facility in Brisbane. We can also facilitate the collection of your milk stash from anywhere in Australia. In order to collect your milk; we ship to you a special medical grade cooler directly to your address which you can then fill with your stash and our partnered courier (Fedex) will then collect from you and return it to us using an overnight shipping service. Our turn around time is 2-weeks; but can vary depending on demand. Each lactation bag that you send in to us transforms into its own pouch of powder. We now also have larger, multi-feed bags available. Nourishy is proud to be the Australian partner to Milkify who are based in the USA. We look forward to transforming your stash!

I wish i knew about this sooner
I first found out about Nourishy through a friend and i thought what a great idea! Great for knowing once we stop BF, babe can still get some nutrients from my milk. Ill also be keeping some aside for our next babe incase we have to do any formulas top ups like we did with our first.
The whole process of sending and receiving our milk back was so easy and streamlined, Nourishy have made the process so easy and i have been telling all my BF friends about it. Ill be using them in the future for sure!

Great immunity booster once Bub stops breastfeeding
Although quite pricey, I absolutely love having a store of my breastmilk as an emergency for when she is no longer breastfeeding and is sick as breastmilk is such a great immune booster

The fact that I can send off my breast…
The fact that I can send off my breast milk to get it back freeze dried with shelf life of 3 years is outstanding. My freezers should soon be a lot more empty freeing up space for groceries again.

3rd time doing a milk drop off the team…
3rd time doing a milk drop off the team at nousirishy are always professional and offer to carry your stash up the stairs and offer you a cold water while they weight your milk. They also have a changing table and nursing chair which is ao thoughtful. I love the idea of storing my breastmilk freezedried as it it lasts for 3 years so I can nourish my baby for a longer period of time.

I love the concept of freeze drying especially because I have high lipase in my milk! It helps it taste a lot better for my baby girl and means I don’t have to leave it in the freezer taking up room! And the fact that it last for 3yrs blows my mind! I don’t feel so much pressure to use the freeze stash just yet. The team at Nourishy are amazing and so friendly. Not only is freeze dried breastmilk the best idea ever it also allows me to still give my baby breastmilk for his midnight feed without having to wait 5mins for his bottle to heat up instead it’s ready in less then 1min

Highly recommend! Just do it!
Highly recommend freeze drying your milk with Nourishy. I visited the team at their Brisbane HQ and was welcomed with open arms. Staff are so friendly, talk you through the whole process and even show you their lab from afar honouring their hygiene and safety processes. You feel so reassured that your liquid gold is in good hands!
When dropping my stash off I was made to feel so comfortable with Bub, all the little things like snacks, change space, nursing chair and others goodies add up for the ultimate experience.
Collected my freeze dried milk in a prompt turnaround time and couldn’t be happier with it in time for return to work :)
