Beware: Theft, Damage, Intimidation
I hired Northern Moving Systems and was never told my move would be subcontracted out to a shady moving company that steals from customers, damages their items, and then tries to intimidate them when they file a claim by sending thugs to their home at night.
Upon receiving my items (later than the window given), I noticed a number of things damaged and my (expensive) floor mirror was completely missing.
I contacted Northern Moving Systems and they told me I'd have to file a claim with the subcontractor, ONCE UPON A MOVE LLC. I sent this subcontractor more than sufficient photographic evidence of the damaged and missing items and they gaslight me, dragged their feet, and refuse to explain how to file a claim.
It had been 10 days since delivery and I had already thrown away damaged items and repaired the items that could be salvaged. At no point did ONCE UPON A MOVE mention an in-person inspection would be needed of my items. Instead, they sent men to my home at night with no warning. Their "guys" sent me photos of my home telling me they were outside and wanted to assess the damage.
This was a complete intimidation tactic in retaliation for filing the claim. I contacted Northern about it and told them I expected them to deal directly with its subcontractors and not put its customers in harm's way or place the burden on us to deal with fraudulent businesses that we never vetted, verified or even hired.
Northern never responded and I am out hundreds of dollars more than I had budgeted.
Beware hiring them. They quote you a low price and then their subcontractors mark it up with all kinds of add on fees (boxing, steps to unit, etc.). On top of that, they damage and steal/lose items. I would have been better off paying more upfront for a reputable moving company.

One of the best moving experiences I have ever had. Which is saying a lot because moving sucks but Curtis and his crew (Cody and Kaleb) made the entire process easy, stress free and an overall great experience. I moved from Chandler to Chandler AZ, locally and got to witness how they cared for both homes and belongings. They handled my items carefully, communicating throughout the entire process and even came back a couple weeks later to grab all my empty boxes and trash saving me a trip to the dump. Highly recommend Curtis and Crew for your move. They were professional, fast and awesome!

I recently moved from the Bronx to East Stroudsburg, PA. Northern Movers handled the move & it couldn’t have gone better. They showed up right on time. They disassembled some of my furniture & wrapped different pieces for transport. Then they reassembled those pieces upon delivery. They took down my bed & put it back together. They moved very quick & maintained professionality the whole time. Upon completion at my new home, I was given a full checklist of every item I moved & the cost of everything including road fees. Signed sealed & delivered with a big smile. If u need to move, short or long distance, I suggest u call Northern Movers if u want u & ur belongings to be “handled with great care.” And tell them Paula sent u.

We had our belongings moved from storage into our new house with Northern Moving , Curtis and his crew went above and beyond in getting everything delivered. They were completely professional and charismatic throughout the process, even after we needed to have furniture moved a couple of different times as they didn’t fit how we hoped. Snowy move
Movers were on time,friendly, and started promptly. Weather was not good, 3 inches of fresh snow they made sure house and belongings were taken care of and didn't put themselves in harms way. Communication from office personnel was exceptional. I knew what was happening from beginning to end.

Took care of moving with stairs easy
NorthernMovers acts more as a middleman for connecting clients with movers, but the service provided by Priceline Moving and Storage was great so they certainly know the right people.

Respectful quick movers
The movers were very respectful and gentle with fragile objects. They made sure to put care in everything while moving and had everything in shape. They worked quick and had finished

I would highly recommend Northern Moving Systems. From the start they were very communicative, and transparent. We discussed price and expectations. I was called several times and we even did a virtual walk thru of the house before moving day. The movers were on time, so polite and got the job done quick from packing up to unloading. Very responsive
Very responsive - checked in with us the day before the move and after to make sure everything was squared away. There was a breakdown in communication with the movers that were sent out to us (who were wonderful and efficient - all of our possessions were boxed up, moved, and unpacked in 6 hours) as they were not told we would need extra cardboard boxes, but luckily they had brought their own and everything worked out fine.

Props to the whole team for a move well done. Christian got us all set up, got a great rate and was always available for any questions. Sebastian was our moving day liason and made sure our move was going smoothly. Big shout out to the movers, the real MVPs. They had us loaded up in no time and took great care of our items. Everything went according to plan!
Everything went as planned from point a to point z. Just a minor scratch on a piece of furniture that might have already even been there. Movers were nice and helpful at pickup and delivery. Will use them again if I move.
