Very, very happy with their work very thorough no mess made all cleaned up at the end, professional individuals.

Guys arrived on time each day and were polite, neat and tidy. Did an excellent installation on behalf of Tomato Energy. Cleared away all the mess. Couldn’t fault the installation.

After suffering a poor experience with Tomato Homes Patrick Day who has take over as National Operations Manager for Norther Gas Heating (which has taken over responsibility for Tomato Homes). Patrick contacted me personally to discuss my problem and in due course generously agreed to replace my entire system with a DNO compliant one.

I cannot thank him and his team enough the service was excellent and Paul, Lee and Mick completed the install perfectly. I a very happy and satisfied customer :)

The two electricians arrived early and worked continuously until the job was complete. It took two days and both of them were pleasant and helpful and explained how the system worked

Genuinely nice fellas who took pride in their work and were tidy.
I was worried about wires down the front of the house, but they even went out of their way to feed the wires through the loft and down through the garage so it looks much better.

Ravinder, Suraj and Christos were nice people helpful and very friendly, no hassle and everything was great. They are good engineers who did a great job on the battery and inverter installation. Very professional. Very clean and tidy. Ravinder showed us through the app how to manage and monitor the panels. We would recommend it to everyone.

After being required to contact a pest controller at our own expense to remove a dead bird and an unviable pigeons nest from our roof, we were frustrated that, come the day of the installation, the roofers had not been provided with the bird mesh to protect the panels as listed in the contract. After much chasing, learning that the mesh was on order without a certain delivery date, this was installed a full week later. Our installations contact at Northern Gas left the company between incorrectly assuring us that bird proofing would be installed on the day and the day of installation, without informing us or providing a new contact for our case. The installation took a day longer than scheduled as well which, while understandable due to ladder access difficulties, did disrupt our working schedules substantially. The installation itself is professional and tidy, and the installers were themselves helpful and communicative. We are happy to have a good solar PV and battery system in place, but our view of Northern Gas is mixed at best.

Ben and G the renewable engineers have done a fantastic job on the installation of the battery and inverter. Their workmanship is exemplary and they kept me informed throughout the installation process. Great work Gents your hard work has kept me from slating an an abysmal customer service journey between northern gas and Tomato energy.

I had an issue with my inverter configuration, and Paul Morton, the National Installations Manager, provided outstanding support. He responded immediately and guided me through the process with clear instructions and a helpful video.

Thanks to his prompt assistance, I was able to calibrate the battery successfully through the app.

Highly recommend their service for anyone needing reliable after-sales support!

Avoid like the plague...

Absolutely the worst customer service from any company I have had to deal with. Had no issues with the installers and the panels went up without a hitch around a year ago so all seemed well upfront but if you have to call them for any reasons as unfortunately I have had to multiple times over the past year they've been up, It's the same guy who answers the phone, and every single time he tells me it's a different department that deals with that.. I'll get them to give you a call back... And guess what.. absolutely nothing. I had to phone 10 times at one point before I was finally given a call back to resolve a problem. This company is an utter joke as far as providing after sales support and any sort of confidence that should anything go wrong that it will be rectified... If I could send the panels back and start again with someone else. I would.
