I have used Nordman Algorithms to code about a dozen MT4/MT5 Expert advisors and custom indicators I have developed over the past few years and honestly I can't recommend them enough.
Each project has been delivered quickly and for a fair price. Nordman takes the time and effort to understand fully what you want developed and will ask relevant questions to make sure they understand exactly how you want the end product to function.
As someone who loves Algo trading but can't code, Nordman really makes my life easier so I would 100% recommend their services.

I have used Nordman Algorithms several times over the past 18 months, having had indicators built, that then I have had developed into EA's. I have appreciated the attention to detail, great communication and the clarifications, whilst they ensured the requirements of what I wanted was reflected in the final versions. I have also had some additions made to th eindicators, which again has been a simple and pleasant experience. I now have what I wanted, most importantly though working as I needed, to simpify and assist me with my strategies.

The programmers were closely involved, resulting in short communication lines and a smooth completion of the project. What I particularly appreciated was that the process described on their website was exactly how it played out in reality. If reliability and keeping promises are important to you, Nordman is the place to be. If I have another project in the future, I know where to go.

Alexi, the programmer I was assigned, has been a magician. I have presented two different trading strategies over the past 18 months and he converted both strategies into an EA for the MT5 platform. As I implemented the strategies, I found holes that needed to be fixed (in the strategy, not the programming). He was fair in the pricing and very quick on the turnaround time. Remember though, the more complex, the longer it will take. I plan on having the final products converted to the MT4 platform when I'm done making changes/modifications.

You must have a clear understanding of the strategy, entrance/exit, etc. The better your documentation the better the results will be.

From the outset, Nordman Algorithms "Alexei" displayed a pattern of attempting to inflate costs for features already agreed upon. When discussing the "percent based lotsize options" (which typically include free margin, equity, and balance options), I simply mentioned wanting equity-based calculation as the default. Surprisingly, they tried to charge extra for this standard feature.

I had also paid for four specific indicators, including KAMA method implementation. Nordman suggested they wouldn't provide these as standalone indicators but would incorporate them directly into the EA, making them impossible to verify or test independently. This not only contradicted our agreement but also seemed like an attempt to bypass proper testing of the KAMA feature. When I objected, they again tried to raise the price, despite these indicators being clearly specified in the initial contract.

As an MT4 user transitioning to MT5, I requested OnTester results, believing they were necessary for recovery factor calculations as in MT4. My agreement clearly included "all numeric parameters for the strategy tester," which should have covered OnTester results. Instead of explaining that recovery factor is a built-in feature in MT5, Nordman attempted to charge extra for OnTester results, contradicting our agreement. When I pointed out that this should be covered under the agreed terms, they finally admitted the feature was native to MT5, but in a condescending manner: "Well clearly it's in MT5." This response was not only unhelpful but also disrespectful to a client clearly stating their unfamiliarity with the new platform.

After I agreed not to add OnTester results, understanding that recovery factor was built into MT5, the project should have proceeded smoothly. However, when I respectfully asked them not to be disrespectful, Nordman retaliated by abruptly cancelling the project and issuing an unrequested refund. This extreme reaction came despite their admission that the project was almost complete. Their claim of having "no choice" but to cancel due to new requirements is blatantly false. The real reason for cancellation was their unprofessional response to being called out for disrespectful behavior, ontester results was agreed not to be added.

But my request for respect from them, ended the project. Their entire vibe was:

"If you mention any aspect of the project, we will attempt raise the price, if you don't allow us to increase the price, you can buy from a different developer"

They say I didn't describe the project, but I gave plenty of explanation, the problem was that if I explained the features I paid for, they then attempted to raise the cost after each explanation that was requested.

V2:

"You think you can tell us to respect you? You aren't in charge here! Now we won't give you the EA at all"

Nordman's subsequent response to my review, claiming I continually added new requirements, is a misrepresentation of events. They attempted to portray their inability to add OnTester results as the reason for cancellation, when in fact I had already agreed to proceed without this feature. This deflection of responsibility only serves to highlight their lack of integrity and commitment to client satisfaction.

Throughout our interaction, Nordman consistently prioritized extracting additional fees over providing quality service. Their responses to my concerns were defensive and failed to address the issues at hand. Their attempt to cut corners by not providing standalone indicators as agreed upon further demonstrates their lack of commitment to client satisfaction.

Conclusion:
I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Nordman Algorithms for EA development. Their deceptive pricing, poor communication, attempts to bypass agreed-upon deliverables, and unprofessional behavior make them an unreliable choice. Their willingness to abruptly terminate a near-complete project over a simple request for respect is particularly alarming.

After Nordman refunded me, I sent the exact same project to a freelance developer who is charging $200 for the entire project. This is in stark contrast to Nordman's price of over $1,000 - $2000 for the exact same work. This enormous price discrepancy further highlights the deceptive nature of Nordman's sales tactics and their attempt to grossly overcharge for their services.

I recently had a seemingly unsolvable issue with a trading strategy and appealed to Nordman for help. I was prepared to hire a programmer but Alexei at Nordman pointed me to a fairly simple solution and I wasn't charged. He was a real expert in his field, and he could have sold me on a larger project or tried to take advantage but DIDN'T. That honesty and integrity is all you need to know when hiring a company and I would use Nordman again without hesitation

They set expectations & deliver within or before all deadlines. Communication is excellent. They built an indicator & strategy for me. 9 months later, they still stand behind their work & helped me troubleshoot & correct an error I had found. Good people to work with.

Second time we're working with Alexei. Absolutly perfect, professional, attentive, patient, talented. We had exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend !

I cannot recommend Nordman Algorithms/Alexei highly enough!!! I have had the pleasure of working with Alexei on a very, very complex program for Ninja Trader for a couple of months and he has made the whole experience extremely pleasurable and seamless. We have had many, many emails back and forth, due to the intricate nature of the program, and I can say that Alexei's communication skills are the best of any programmer I have ever worked with, by far. He has consistently gone above and beyond to problem solve and execute things that I thought weren't possible due to the constraints of NT8. He has worked quickly and accurately with the end result and process throughout exceeding my expectations! If you have any programming needs, Alexei is the man for the job!

Alex and his team are dedicated and hard working. Even when my explanation of what I wanted wasn’t always clear they dealt with my issues professionally and efficiently to find the best solution. Alexei was extraordinarily helpful, professional, quick to respond, and easy to communicate with. He is highly skilled at what he does and makes the process very streamline. I would recommend Nordman Algo to anybody looking to develop an algo based strategy.

I had, what I would consider, a pretty complex NT8 strategy I wanted implemented. I had already had a freelance dev on Upwork take a stab at it, and he could not implement it to my specifications. So I was actually concerned what I wanted could not be created within my budget range. Thankfully I kept searching and came across these guys.
