When I first started meeting with Jake, I was in a dark place, feeling alone, betrayed, and unworthy. I didn’t think I deserved my family’s support. But as I continued our sessions, I began to see myself and my mistakes differently. With Jake’s guidance and tools, I managed to climb out of the hole I had dug for myself. He taught me strategies to develop new habits and thought patterns, helping me shift my perspective. Instead of dwelling on my flaws and mistakes, he showed me how to view them more positively. Having someone to talk to gave me the courage to share my addiction with my family and gain their support. Much of the happiness and fulfillment I experience now is thanks to Jake.

Before I was with Jake, I felt like I tried everything to overcome but it seemed like no matter what I did, I could never get over it. Jake's program has taught me exactly what I need to overcome for good and have no desire (hence the name). I’m still working everyday and creating the lifestyle that Jake has taught me to be able to be sober long-term. But for now, I just feel so much happier and so much more free. I feel like I can manage my thoughts and feelings and truly control them. My relationships are better since being with Jake and his program. He is one of the nicest dudes you will ever meet. He never judges but always gives amazing advice at the right moments. I totally recommend him!!! You won’t regret it!

My life & marriage was beginning to feel bleak & unmanageable when I began, but already I am finding hope & confidence as I give 100% effort to work the program. The biggest benefits that differ from other therapeutic approaches I have tried include working with someone who has overcome addiction themselves, daily accountability through check ins, vision focused writing assignments, & faith based recovery. I tried many things to address my addiction such as screenshot accountability, internet filters and talk therapy. Whilst these methods were somewhat helpful, I still struggled regularly. After a few months of listening to the No More Desire podcast, I decided to set up a consultation with Jake. This turned out to be the most significant step I've ever taken in my struggle against porn addiction. Being in the programme has already yielded so many benefits. I've learned how to identify the underlying stresses and anxieties fuelling my addiction cravings. I'm also learning how to adopt a recovery mindset centred around acceptance and surrender, as opposed to resistance and judgement. Jake is a very compassionate and encouraging coach, who has a real desire to see growth in his clients. I would highly recommend the programme.

I have learned so much from my meetings with Jake and I am so grateful that I have been able to talk with someone so I can know how to become a better man and fill my thoughts with good, positive things. I have been able to strengthen my relationship with God and learn how to channel my negative emotions with sexual desires into good, positive emotions to help me become who God has always meant for me to be.

Jake has given my recovery new life! I've been in and out of recovery for 16 years, struggling to stay sober from pornography and feeling stuck. Jake has created a program that gives me structure and accountability. The material he uses and how he has organized it, along with the daily exercises, has given me a fresh perspective, which I’m finding valuable in helping me develop a recovery mindset.
