Ordered and received product within 3 days. Flashlight appears to be functioning properly.

I'm currently in the middle of trying to get the glass replaced on my Concept 2 flashlight. I'm more than happy to pay for the replacement gaskets and front glass after it turned on and shattered from the heat in my bag.

I've emailed no less than three different email addresses over the last month and each reply takes a week, and I only get a reply because I have to remind them to reply.

£185 for a flashlight.

I'll never buy from Nitecore again. Your customer support is embarrassing.

Don't buy Nitecore.

Two months later I'm still waiting for the correct parts for my flashlight. I asked for TWO things, glass and gaskets, they forgot the gaskets.

I've been quoted as having to wait another 8 weeks for delivery.

They sell a number of flashlights that use proprietary batteries. My 2-3 year old R40, a $149 purchase back then, needed a new battery. The battery shows as discontinued on their website, so I reached out to customer service. In addition to taking a while to get responses, the service team offered no help other than stating I should check with other vendors or call the manufacturer.

Well, these products are labeled as Nitecore products, so it's clear to me that they simply add their brand to another manufacturer's product, aren't willing to support the products they sell, and finally, they don't really seem to care at all about taking care of their customers.

Buyer beware! Shop elsewhere!

I searched the internet for the the top rated headlamps and NITECORE was rated one of the best. Are you kidding me how does that happen? Orders do not ship overnight almost 4 weeks), customer service is slow (3 days for a callback), when you do talk to someone, their phone system sucks, each time I called (twice) it was the same. They are hard to understand and not to aggressive in trying to help you with your questions. Now I'll get to the headlamp. It comes with a 18650 battery but they don't tell you that it's a special battery at a cost of $21.95 if you want an extra one. When charging the headlamp gets really hot. the guy tells me that's normal, really? I hope so. Regular 18650 batteries work but they do not last long. Do not use regular batteries on high. I do not think this headlamp is worth the money and I am in the process of trying to return it.

This was an extremely satisfying ordering experience. First, the range of products is endless and it is very easy to compare attributes of each to get exactly what you want. The shopping experience and checkout was very easy, AND IT SHIPPED TODAY! Amazing.

First light that broke was under warranty for bad threading. They didn't make that model any more so just gave me "credit" of paying half the price toward a new light. So warranty is not really a warranty at all. That next one then just dies before even getting through a full charge. Then they make me pay shipping for a part to fix it. They also drag the whole process out each time for weeks. I pay, then they wait a week or so to even sent anything. Do not buy from this company. Unless you live in China and wouldn't have to deal with their garbage customer service they have, just buy ANYTHING else. There are too many companies making good flashlights out there to have to deal with this company.

I have purchased three Nitecore flashlights, at a price of about $45 each. Recently one of them stopped working. By swapping parts, I was able to figure out the switch was bad, an easily replaceable part. I contacted Nitecore and was told that: 1) My flashlight is out of warranty and there is nothing they can do, 2) To send it to the store in CHINA to have them evaluate it, and 3) They no longer carry and can't sell me the defective part. So option #2 above makes absolutely no sense. Another problem with Nitecore is that their 18650 batteries are actually larger than a standard 18650 battery, and WILL NOT FIT a standard 18650 battery charger. You have to buy a Nitecore charger. I have another three made-in-China 1000+ lumen flashlights purchased on eBay for a price of $8 each. I have had these as long or longer than the Nitecore ones, and all of them work as good as new. So Nitecore is going to the trash heap, it is not worth the extra money for anything more than a kids toy.

Please stay away from Nitecore chargers. I bought the Q6 first and it did not work, I returned to TASCO (distributors in Australia at my own cost) and they replaced it with I8. After receiving the replacement, it had an error when I insert 3 or more batteries, LEDs start flickering and it does not charge. When I raised an issue with TASCO they kept arguing that I use different batteries. PLEASE PLEASE Stay away from NITE CORE and TASCO Australia.

Nitecore takes down bad reviews. Post elsewhere. I purchased 2 NTP31, gave one as a Christmas gift and one for myself. The carbide tip on the one that was gifted fell out and was lost, glass breaker was never used. Upon hearing that I checked the other one and sure enough with enough pressure I was able to pull it out with my finger nails.

I contacted Nitcore, sent it back and over 3 weeks later was sent a replacement in bubble wrap? Couldn't even send a brand new one in a box, no compensation, no apologies especially when it was a gift which makes Nitecore's product look bad. Bad customer service and bad product. On top of that they removed my negative review on their website, which means they probably have a ton of bad reviews.

I'll post my experience on other sites, buy another brand!

At first shipping speed sucked - I finally received a fantastic product. I also ordered a same model light from their licensed dealer, Lumen Tactical (super fast shipping by the way) - The L.T. light I ordered had a strange bright white flash just before colored options came on. L.T. is taking care of this promptly. I also decided to order two low temp batteries for the devices - those came in record time and work perfectly ;) I gave a 1 star review at first - but these guy have turned around and have a fabulous product! Unfortunately, sometimes you get a lemon... This is life!

Purchased a MH20GT one year ago. Warning to prospective buyers - this small powerful light gets extremely hot to the touch after two or three minutes to the point you have to put it down and let it cool down. This is not mentioned in their product description. I spoke with customer service who told me this is the case with all brands that make compact powerful lights. Would not have bought this had a known how useless it would be.

After I plug it in I have to check it about 5-7 times because it goes straight to 100% and stops charging so I have to reset it over and over what a piece of feces💩 -5stars

I have used nitecore products for years as they where well built and reliable. Not any more the UM2 charger I bought less than a year ago failed because the micro USB socket came out of the unit. The build quality is simply terrible with the socket being held in by two small tags and the pins to the circuit board do not look as if they have been soldered but simply placed on the tracks and the force of tags used to make contact. I used this charger about once a week so I would say that I got about 50 uses at most before the device failed. It is a shame that a company that had such a good reputation should be making such a shoddy product now.

The Nitecore Store and Nitecore company in China refuse to address the poor performance of a flashlight under warranty. Bottom line: Purchase a Nitecore product at your own risk—the Nitecore warranty and service is worthless.
Background: I purchased a Nitecore EA21 from Amazon that drains fresh alkaline or lithium AA batteries in not in use. Batteries are dead after 3-4 months with only light (less than 10 minutes at medium power) use.
I communicated via email with the Nitecore company in China about the problem for about two weeks. They do not acknowledge a problem with the rapid draining of batteries and claim the performance is normal. It is not.
The Nitecore store USA said there wasn’t much they could do since I did not purchase directly from them. The Nitecore Store promised to elevate the issue to management and call me back the next day. They have not followed through.
Both the Nitecore Store USA and Nitecore Company have earned one star from this customer. If I could have awarded no stars, I would have.

Purchased a battery charger from this manufacturer, worked well for three months, it then stopped working. When I approached the customer service, despite giving them a receipt they told me they could not verify the authenticity of my device and heavily implied I was trying to rip them off. Do you want to give you business to a company that thinks you are trying to rip you off when you have an authentic grievance?

After spending £170 on a torch 6 months ago only to find out that the faulty charger that came with the torch is not covered under warranty. Customer service only suggestion was to purchase a new charger. It’s clear why LED Lenser are a more popular torch.
