This is the second time we have used New Forest Surveying - our first potential purchase fell through due to an issue with the house - and we consider that Gerard's advice saved us a LOT of money in the long run! Therefore, we consider the money spent with New Forest Surveying a VERY good investment! Both times we have dealt with New Forest Surveying, they have been quick to respond, quote, set up the appointment and deliver the report. Extremely efficient and very helpful. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.

An excellent experience both in terms of enquiring about / booking the survey and in terms of the survey itself. Very useful, straightforwardly delivered verbal update given on the day, which was hugely valuable in terms of setting our expectations, followed by a very clearly written survey within just a couple of days. I was delighted with the level 3 RICS building survey which was done yesterday on a house I am planning to purchase.

The surveyor was extremely pleasant to deal with, and very efficient and did absolutely everything I asked and all on time. He was easy to talk to and happy to explain everything without jargon.

He called me straight after the survey to give me a very good idea of the main findings before writing his full report so I didn't have to wait and worry about what might have been found for long!

The report was sent later that evening and included lots of extremely helpful photographs.

I would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them.

Note I have no conflict of interest as I only found this surveyor after a Google search for RICS accredited companies in the area.

I emailed every local ish surveyor I could find (approx 10-15) as I wanted to beat the stamp duty so any time savings would be critical. I say this because I spoke to many, some of which really couldn't be bothered to explain anything and seemed like it was a bother. I went with Gerard from New Forest Surveying as he spoke with me himself prior to deciding to use him and answered some questions, he was very calm and happy to help as being a first time buyer its so much unknown having never done any of this before. He was very responsive by email along with his wife Hannah, everything was booked in fast and he called after he completed the survey explaining everything with the full level 3 building survey report emailed over later that evening. I've since asked a couple questions which he answered promptly and again very helpful. The report was very detailed and covered everything. I feel it was very good and I would happily use or recommend Gerard to anyone.

I had found New Forest Surveying through local surveyors in the New Forest area on google.

Gerard had a chat with me prior to booking, to talk through what we would expect from the survey along with an example. Booking was easy and very well priced. Gerard then called us on the same day he had done our Lv.3 building survey to give us a summary of how the visit was and then supplied us with the finalised report next working day.

The report itself, was explanatory and I found it easy to understand.

Gerard was very quick to give us our report, and the verbal feedback on the day of the survey was such a reassurance. He's been a real help with queries we have had after reading the report too. A special thank you to his wife, who was lovely and very reassuring over the phone when we booked the survey.

Contacted NFS to get a full survey on our proposed house purchase. Gerard was friendly, helpful, and able to carry out the inspection in a timely manner. On the day of the inspection I received a phone call to tell me how it had gone (well, thankfully!) and within 24 hrs had the full, detailed report. Overall, excellent service at a very reasonable price. Well worth it for the extra peace of mind. Thank-you Gerard.

Gerard Pocock conducted my Home Buyer Survey exactly when he said he would and provided me with the results of a comprehensive survey at the time he said he would provide it. For a non builder I found the survey easy to read and understand. Gerard's follow up phone call helped me to focus on the most important issues I need to resolve and as a whole, the survey has helped me to forward plan the minor remedial work necessary with confidence.
