I usually write long reviews, but their internal system has completely drained my energy. Its a predatory service that has zero care or accountability for the service they are providing. Pathetic condition of most of the places, zero accountability, absolute criminal when it comes to cutting from your deposit. Yes, it looks affordable, but trust me, stay away from this pathetic excuse of a company.
Unfair Deposit Deductions & Zero Accountability by Nestaway
Extremely poor experience with Nestaway. Security deposit refund was delayed, and even then, unfair charges were deducted for cleaning, AC maintenance, and utilities that were already paid.
Customer care and the owner kept blaming each other, with no accountability or resolution. This caused unnecessary stress and financial loss.
Highly unprofessional service—be very cautious before trusting Nestaway, especially with your deposit.

The broker forgot to get the keys despite reminding him twice.

Unacceptable Delays and Inconsistent Responses
I would like to share my recent experience with Nestaway, along with supporting screenshots of my interactions for context.
Despite multiple follow ups, the responses I received were inconsistent and lacked clarity. There was a noticeable absence of timely communication and professionalism, which are basic expectations from any service provider. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet these standards.
To ensure transparency, I will be attaching screenshots of the interactions in my Google review, so others can have a clear understanding of the situation.
Pathetic experience when moving out
Pathetic experience. They dont give your security deposit back and also add extra charges in the name of bogus fixes. They will even do house inspection without your approval and keep pushing it so that you arent available during the same. the 15k onboarding charge i paid them is worthless
The pathetic service Nestway providing
The worst service I ever get from any platform , This company is having 2.3 star rating on which they are adhering also , While moving in already complete security deposit has been given and the same has been signed on agreement , after two year 5000 has been added with rent to pay security deposit as this is difference amount after increment on rent amount , without prior information or notice , This is complete nonsense , signing on legal document after that also it's happening , Then after every delayed payment by one day also Rs100 is being getting charged In feb it's 28days , Till 5th day of every month there is time complete the payment however 5000 has been added directly with rent . It's complete scam the company is running , and the worst customer service people they have hired , and pathetic operations back support team , it's been 5-6 days nor a single resolution I have received yet , Like a parrot every agent states the same thing , for 24-48hrs i need to wait .
Extremely awful experience
Extremely awful experience. They use a deceptive tactic where they perform temporary 'quick fixes' on appliances that only last about a week. By the time you vacate, they already know exactly what is broken. They avoid doing the move-out inspection in your presence, only to later slap you with massive deductions for things like the TV or geyser. It feels like a coordinated effort to keep your deposit. Do not trust their check-in and check-out process!"
Your Security Deposit is not safe
My son stayed with Nestaway for over 2 years. Never made a late payment, never caused any trouble. Now, when he's moving out, they're refusing to refund a proper amount in the security deposit. They keep harassing him for his own money, and some of the staff are incredibly rude. Very very disappointed. Will let everyone know in my circle not to trust them.
Extra, unnecessary, unexplained charges tacked on to the security deposit refund
You're acting like a bunch of scammers from what I can tell I resided at Monarch Serenity B103. Zero effort was put into cleaning the common areas at move in, and when one of my flatmates vacated a year into my stay. Yet you're charging for cleaning at move out, and that too 3000?! For a property that's already delisted!
You've added bogus charges on the security deposit refund, customer care doesn't have answers, your ticket handling team keeps trying to hide behind beureaucy and they also have the audacity to "internally validate" the charges you've posted without actually explaining anything. You've been delaying the process, and you keep making one sided, baseless decisions about money that's not yours to keep, which by the way, you've been holding onto, for more than 2.5 weeks. It's come to a point where I should be charging you extra for withholding my money for so long. Your handling of this reeks of irresponsibility, incompetence and arrogance. REMOVE THE EXTRA CHARGES & RETURN IT!

Customer service is absolutely pathetic. They won't even clean your apartment, so much money is charged un-necessarily.
Background
- I vacated the flat in mid-October 2025.
- Despite vacating early, I paid rent until 15th November 2025.
- My total security deposit paid to Nestaway was ₹24,000.
- ₹12,000 was deducted for early vacancy as per Nestaway policy.
- The remaining ₹12,000 is rightfully owed to me.
Current Status
- Till date, NOT A SINGLE RUPEE has been refunded to me.
- Nestaway has merely stated in an internal settlement report that ₹9,750 “will be refunded”, but no refund has actually been processed or credited.
- ₹1,200 has been deducted as “cleaning charges” despite the room and washroom being properly cleaned before vacating.
- ₹800 has been deducted as “utility charges” even though electricity and gas bills were already settled directly with my roommates.
Repeated False Assurances
Since 15th November 2025, I have followed up multiple times with customer support. Every interaction ends with the same scripted response:
“Your refund will be processed in 5–7 business days.”
This timeline has been repeatedly violated, making it clear that Nestaway is deliberately delaying refunds while holding customer funds unfairly.
Evidence Available
I am in possession of:
- Call recordings with Nestaway representatives
- Screenshots of chats and email communications
- Rent payment proofs
- Deposit details and settlement reports
FINAL DEADLINE
I am giving Nestaway ONE FINAL OPPORTUNITY to resolve this amicably.
If the full refundable amount is NOT credited to my account by TOMORROW AFTERNOON, I will proceed with the following actions without any further notice:
1. File a formal complaint in the Consumer Court for:
- Deficiency of service
- Unfair trade practices
- Mental harassment and financial inconvenience
2. Publicly post all evidence (call recordings, screenshots, documents) on:
- Twitter/X
- Instagram
- Reddit
- LinkedIn
- Other public consumer grievance platforms
3. Name and tag Nestaway, its leadership, and responsible officials in all public disclosures.
This situation could have been resolved easily, but Nestaway’s continued negligence and misleading commitments have left me with no alternative.
Extremely Disappointing Service and Zero Accountability
My experience with NestAway has been extremely disappointing. Despite multiple follow-ups through their ticketing system, emails, and calls, I received no response for weeks. Basic maintenance work that was clearly part of their contractual responsibility was left unfinished, including a broken sink, an unfixed patio door, and poorly done painting patchwork.
I even returned the full security deposit to their account as instructed, yet they failed to complete the work or provide any meaningful communication. Because of their inaction, I suffered loss of rental income and had to take care of repairs myself at my own cost.
The overall lack of professionalism, transparency, and responsibility is unacceptable. I cannot recommend NestAway to anyone looking for a reliable property management service.
Ignored Maintenance, Unjust Charges Later
My experience with Nested has been extremely disappointing. From the very beginning, the apartment had several pre-existing issues, including a ceiling leak that was never fixed despite multiple requests. Throughout the stay, there was no proper support or service from their team — every concern was either ignored or endlessly delayed.
Now, after moving out, they are charging a hefty amount from our deposit for “damages” that were already there before we moved in. Instead of taking responsibility for the condition of the apartment, they’re trying to shift the blame onto tenants.
Overall, very unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend renting from Nested unless you want to deal with poor service, unresolved maintenance issues, and unfair deposit deductions.

Absolute scam.
I'm sharing my extremely disappointing experience with Nestaway, specifically regarding the move-out process.
The company is demanding an outrageous move-out amount that is equivalent to nearly four months' rent. This fee is completely unjustified and appears to be an arbitrary charge with no clear breakdown or transparency. It's a shocking demand that feels like a blatant attempt to exploit tenants at the time of their departure.
Be ready to be threatened with legal notices if you chose to go with their service.
I suspect all positive reviews here are paid ones.

Absolutely the Worst Property Management Experience – Avoid Nestaway
I’ve had my flat in Pune managed by Nestaway for the last few years, and the experience has been nothing short of terrible.
Rent payments are regularly delayed or completely missing for months. No updates, no apologies—just silence.
Tenants repeatedly complained about unresolved issues—plumbing, electricity, basic maintenance—which Nestaway simply ignores.
No accountability whatsoever. Support tickets are closed without any actual resolution, and customer service is practically non-existent.
Communication is abysmal. You’ll never get a call back, and emails or messages go unanswered for weeks (if at all).
Despite multiple escalations, Nestaway has shown complete disregard for both owner and tenant concerns. It’s just a broken system with no sense of responsibility.
If you're a landlord looking for reliable property management—stay far away from Nestaway. They will damage your trust, your finances, and your property’s reputation.

Pathetic customer service and no return of deposit…
They ensure your deposit is not returned, give a big list of damages inspire the minimal correction they would need to do( I stayed for 4+ years) and in the end they ensure you pay them extra in the name of dues. Most of the positive reviews are fake/paid. Not a single person I have interacted with and whom I know personally have anything positive to say about Nestaway. Please do not take up their service, rather negotiate with owners for advance payments at least you won't be scammed.
