Ants Nests
I purchased the product to get rid of ants nests in my lawn. I was sceptical at the outset but it has proved to work. I gave it four stars rather then five because it is a bit of a faff to use with all the exact measuring out that has to be done,

Delivery was good
Delivery was good. I don’t know how well they have worked yet. I am a woman of age so found it hard going on my back having to water them in. Would be good if it could be scattered rather than watered.
I understand that may not be possible. Don’t think I’ll use them again to much hard work for me.

We’re sorry to hear you found the application difficult. However, we do feel it’s a little unfair to mark the product down for this, as the application method and watering requirements are available on our website before purchase.
The nematodes are living organisms and need to be applied in water so they can move through the soil to find the pests they control, so unfortunately they cannot simply be scattered onto the surface.
We do appreciate that watering in can be physically demanding, and understand that this may not be suitable for everyone. We hope the treatment proves effective for you and would be grateful if you would consider revising your three-star review, as the application method is an inherent part of how the product works and is outlined before purchase.

Meaningless Tracked 24 Friday order
Ordered these at a few minutes after 10.00am on a Friday morning and asked for them to be posted that day. Given that it said there was a Tracked 24 service I expected them on the Saturday. But nothing came then or on the following Monday. I emailed and got a response saying I had ordered too late for posting on the Friday but they would post them that day, Monday. However given that they confirmed my order on 29th at 10.07 on the Friday I find it difficult to believe that they couldn't have posted them that same day for Saturday delivery. I was then asked if I wanted to cancel. I said I didn't and wanted them dispatched. They came today June 2nd and have been used but in future I will use my local garden centre as I specifically asked for them to be sent that Friday, and a decent customer service ought to have contacted me to say it wasn't possible, so that I could have an immediate refund and buy them locally. A Friday order at a few minutes after 10 should easily have caught the post. I will never use this company again. Tracked 24 was meaningless in my instance.
Your reply is noted, but to tell me on the Monday that I had missed the post on Friday when the order was placed at a couple of minutes after 10.00am Friday is unacceptable. Good customer service would have been to immediately email me and I could have asked for a refund. Pity you weren't as quick to reply when I ordered, as you are when getting a one-star review.

We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the delivery timescale.
However, we feel this review is unfairly based on an expectation of same-day despatch and guaranteed next-day delivery, neither of which we advertise or guarantee.
At the very top of our homepage we clearly state:
“All nematodes are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 & ‘in stock’ items are typically despatched within 1 working day.”
In addition, the first line of our delivery policy states:
“Delivery - We try to send as many nematodes out as possible for next day delivery, but in peak periods, it may take us a little longer to pick and pack your order.”
Whilst we noticed that you included a request for Friday despatch within your order notes, special requests cannot always be guaranteed. We do our best to accommodate such requests wherever possible, but they do not override our published despatch timescales.
You also stated in your email that we should make it clear that orders placed before 10:15am on a Friday may not be sent that day. We believe our website already makes this clear by stating that orders are typically despatched within 1 working day rather than the same day.
Your order was delivered using the advertised Royal Mail Tracked 24 service and arrived within the expected non-guaranteed delivery timeframe.
Whilst we appreciate that this did not meet your personal expectations, those expectations differed from the delivery information published on our website at the time of ordering.

We are sorry to hear that your beans and peas suffered significant slug damage whilst you were away.
From your description, it sounds as though the nematodes may not have been able to establish effectively in the soil.
For slug nematodes to work successfully, it is essential that the soil is thoroughly watered before application and then kept consistently moist for at least two weeks afterwards (as per the pack instructions).
As your second application was made immediately before you went on holiday, and given the recent period of exceptionally hot and dry weather, it is possible that the soil dried out excessively.
Unfortunately, nematodes are living organisms and can perish if soil moisture levels are not maintained, which would prevent them from controlling the slugs.

Super fast delivery. The nematodes have done the job. I will order some more in a couple of weeks.

This was also advised to you in our email trail on Wednesday 27th May. So you will receive later on this week.
UPDATE: I have just tracked your delivery and can see that it has been successfully delivered on 4th June 2026 - as per the information that was displayed on our website at the time of ordering.

Really good experience
Ive had a really good experience with this website. I've used the customer service guys recently and Adam was incredibly helpful. I was stuggling identifying a new pest in my lawn and Adam went out of his way to identify the bug, show me the product i needed and explain how much i needed for my garden and how often i should be applying it. I ordered the product and it came really quickly. Will definitely be buying products from here in the future.

We’re sorry to see your 1-star review, but we do need to clarify the situation.
At the time your order was placed, a dispatch date of 8th May was clearly displayed across our website - including on the product page, category page, and in the shopping cart before checkout.
Your order is scheduled to be shipped on 8th May, in line with this stated timeframe.
We would therefore kindly request that the 1-star review based on non-delivery is reconsidered and removed, as the order has not yet fallen outside of the advertised dispatch window.
Please also note that due to ongoing long-term stock issues with Nemaslug, your order will be fulfilled using an alternative product. This contains the exact same species of nematode for slug control, with identical application and effectiveness, the only difference being the packaging/manufacturer.
If you do not want to receive the substitute please let us know and we will cancel your pre-order and refund you.

Pathetic approach to customer care…
Pathetic approach to customer care after my parcel was delivered to the wrong address, here's their response....
"As the parcel appears to have been delivered to the wrong address and you are unwilling to collect it we have now refunded your order rather than sending a replacement, as we are not willing to resend another at the risk of the same thing happening again."
So they naively persecute the consumer by not sending a replacement and claiming their loss back from Royal Mail, poor customer relations, even one star is too many.

We are sorry that Royal Mail delivered your parcel to the wrong address.
Unfortunately, couriers do sometimes make delivery errors and this is outside of our control.
When the tracking indicated that the parcel had been delivered only a few houses away, we did not feel it was unreasonable to ask whether you would be willing to approach the neighbour to retrieve it, rather than immediately expecting us to send a replacement.
When you replied to say that you were not willing to do so because of your relationship with the neighbour, we accepted that and refunded your order in full within minutes. However, we were not prepared to send a second pack and risk exactly the same issue happening again.
In the circumstances, we do feel that a one-star review is unfair, particularly given that the matter was resolved promptly by way of a full refund.
5 star support and advice
Needed to ask lots of questions about how to apply the Nematode solution.
Extremely prompt and informative answers given to every query.
Very impressive service.
