Informasjon om virksomheten
Skrevet av virksomheten
Neighbors Trailer is the first peer-to-peer trailer rental marketplace in the United States and Canada. Founded in 2022 and based in Fort Worth, Texas, we connect people who need a trailer with neighbors who have one to rent. Whether you are hauling furniture across town, moving equipment for a job, or picking up a project you have been putting off, chances are the right trailer is parked just down the road. Our mission is simple. We make trailer rental easier, more affordable, and more local by turning idle trailers into earning assets for owners and giving renters more choices than a traditional rental yard can offer. Every renter goes through identity verification and driving record screening before a booking is confirmed, so owners can share their equipment with confidence. Renters get transparent pricing, a straightforward booking process, and real support from a team that actually answers the phone. Our protection program adds an extra layer of peace of mind on every eligible rental. We are proud to serve a growing community of trailer owners and renters across North America, and we are always working to make each rental smoother than the last. If you have rented or listed with us, we would love to hear about your experience.

total waste of time--go uhaul
Total waste of time--sent the owner of a trailer a message describing why i wanted the trailer, how long i needed it, and described the purpose. Proceeded to book. Trailer owner asks me questions and takes entire days to respond, suddenly cancels the booking a day before i needed the trailer forcing me to scramble and make other arrangements.
messaged another local owner about renting their trailer instead and never got a response about it
total waste of time, i will be sure to start with either using u-haul or contact a physical, local business next time.

Murray, we're sorry the rental didn't work out. It looks like this particular trailer had an out-of-state restriction that wasn't a fit for your move — something that should have been clearer upfront so you weren't left scrambling. We're always looking at ways to make listing restrictions more visible before renters invest time in a request. If you ever need a trailer again, feel free to reach out to us at service@neighborstrailer.com and we can help match you with owners whose trailers fit your needs. — Neighbors Trailer

Preston, thank you! Short and sweet, but it means a lot. Glad we could be useful, and we hope to see you again down the road. — Neighbors Trailer

Thanks for writing this. Break-even isn't where we want owners to sit — bringing renters to your trailers is our side of the deal, and the point is taken. Glad the renting itself has been straightforward.
Great experience. Everything worked out great
No waiting around, picking it up or dropping it back off.
Very nice owner..

Thanks Todd. Not waiting around at either end is exactly what renting from a neighbor should look like, so it's good to hear it went that way, and that the owner was easy to deal with.

Thanks Kenton — glad the pickup and drop-off were straightforward. That's mostly down to the owner you rented from, and we'll pass it along. Appreciate you taking the time to write it.
It started with the trailer owner
It started with the trailer owner. I arranged to rent his trailer for two days and then, the day before I was to pick it up, he emails and says it is no longer available. He then asks me to cancel the reservation, which would have incurred costs on my end for a late-stage cancellation. I told him to do it himself, which cost him instead. And then when I tried to leave a review of this trailer owner, the website moderators would not allow me to do so. I went around and around with them and the whole experience left me feeling like they were covering for this guy.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. You're right, owner cancellations the day before pickup are frustrating, and I understand why that would be disappointing.
Here's what we want you to know: Neighbors Trailer has processes specifically for situations like this, including owner cancellation policies. The fact that you were fully refunded suggests the system worked, but we're sorry this wasn't a smoother experience.
We'd genuinely like to review what happened on your rental. Please reach out to our support team at service@neighborstrailer.com with your booking details—we take owner behavior seriously and want to understand if something in our process let you down.
We appreciate your business and the chance to make this right.
Using neighbors trailer was a game…
Using neighbors trailer was a game changer for me as picking something out and navigating through the website was extremely easy and efficient.

Wonderful service — so worth it!!
I decided to book a trailer on Neighbors Trailer instead of Uhaul this time because I love supporting local. I got a wonderful Owner that was super attentive and helpful to me. The total price was even cheaper than uhaul and it was a much better quality trailer. I did have to reach out to Customer Service at one point and they responded super quickly and friendly. I think the whole idea was genius and the platform worked as intended. 10/10 recommend and will use again!
