Following a windscreen replacement, my BMW developed an SOS emergency call fault that was not present beforehand. I have now returned three times in an attempt to have the issue resolved.

On my second visit, a technician spent over an hour and a half trying to fix the fault without success. I was then asked to return again so the manager could deal with it immediately, but I still waited over 45 minutes before he looked at the vehicle, and the fault remains unresolved.

I was told there was a wire trapped in the adhesive and that the manager would speak to his area manager about covering the cost of a repair elsewhere. He promised to call me later that day or the following day with an update, but I received no call. I also tried contacting him several times on Friday without success.

I am now having to seek advice from BMW and my insurance company. The lack of communication and the amount of time spent returning with no resolution has been extremely disappointing.

Good service from the location. Only thing that could be improved is the time to get an appointment, one week from booking to drop vehicle off at the site or 3 1/2 for home visit. When it’s the only vehicle you have, this is a big hinderence. Store team were helpful

I had to take my car to them rather than them coming to me. Once I got there they kept me waiting for over an hour when they said it would take 30 minutes. Not good service.

The operatives were efficient, courteous and patient with me when I arrived (in time) but having forgotten my car keys at home :-( - A 2-hour round taxi drive away.

Really accommodating staff and no issues with the quality, work completed efficiently.

Robin was very helpful, efficient and pleasant. My only concern is that trying to find your address is very difficult even with satnav. My partner was following a few minutes later and he had the same problem. Robin also admitted other people have had similar experiences.

20 days till 1st appointment wrong screen brought..
Just over a month after first reported had another appointment but was worried about rain forecast so asked to take it to them.
Bloke slept in our appt was 10there were 2 before us he finally arrived at 10 20! The lifting equipment was broken so my partner helped lift the screen in!
Went on holiday the next day. Driving down the road and the trim blew out!!
I spent 20 mins with my arm out the window holding it down till we could get to a garage and spent 20 on glue and gorilla tape to hold it down!!
The only plus is they did compensate us!

My experience was very disappointing. All of the work was delayed and nothing was completed on time. To make matters worse, when I collected my car, I found various tools, a packet of cigarettes, and other rubbish left inside the vehicle after the work had been carried out.

At first, I didn’t notice another issue, but when I later took the car for its MOT, I ran into problems because, while fitting the windscreen, they had managed to cover the vehicle’s VIN number with adhesive. This caused unnecessary complications and wasted my time dealing with an issue that should never have happened.

Overall, the poor organisation, lack of attention to detail, and unprofessional workmanship mean I cannot recommend this company.

My windscreen was damaged on Monday 11th May. I reported it via NFU at 11am that day, and received a call from National Windscreens at 4.40pm giving me a fitting date of 21st May.Friends tell me that they have had windscreens repaired in well under 10 days. However on the day the technician dis a good job although he had to return when I reported that I could not exit the car as he had failed to reconnect the door handle. To summarize I would say that the technician was excellent but the wait for the repair rather too long.
