I have similar issue with misrepresentation. Tried to buy some items and at the end of the process the system said couldn’t deliver to my area (3rd largest city in Canada). They suggested I input my postal code and their system would filter what I could actually buy despite them saying they ship everything they sell nationally. But in my original query I sent a screen shot with my address inputted and the bed I wanted showing available. Unfortunatley that was a little too complicated for them to grasp and I had to abort the discussion entirely. I wouldn’t do any business with them unless I could go to their store to fix their mistakes. They are cheap but it’s for a reason.

We placed an order for a queen mattress and a matching boxspring through National Mattresses. However, they delivered only the mattress and not the boxspring. When I asked about the missing boxspring, which was clearly listed on the invoice (Order no: order #000313693) they claimed that it does not come with one (lie). I explained that I had compared prices across multiple vendors and chose them specifically because the order included a boxspring.

Unfortunately, National Mattresses proved to be unreliable. What they advertise on their website does not match what they deliver, and they were not truthful about what was included in the invoice. They made promises they did not fulfill.

They deliver only the Mattresses not the Matching BoxSpring mentioned in the invoice.

I highly recommend choosing a different vendor, as National Mattresses is not trustworthy. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Do NOT buy anything from National Mattress !!!

You will lose your hard-earned money.

They claim “hassle-free support” — but in reality, it’s a scam. I received a product that was misrepresented, and once it’s opened, they hide behind a no-return, no-exchange policy that they never disclosed upfront.

They also make you sign a delivery form, then twist it to say you accepted the product “in satisfactory condition” — before you even open the box.

This company is dishonest, deceptive, and operates with zero accountability.
Hundreds of others have reported similar issues.

Avoid National Mattress at all costs. Don’t be their next victim!!!

I placed an order through National Mattress Canada’s website, only to have it cancelled without any explanation. When I followed up, I was told the mattress I ordered couldn’t be delivered due to a system glitch. I chose a different mattress, placed a new order—and again, it was cancelled two days later with no notice or reason.

After reaching out once more, I was told my credit card was flagged as fraudulent and advised to use another one. Against my better judgment, I tried a second card. Two days later—cancelled again.

I was then told I needed to use Google Pay or PayPal because of the “high volume of fraud” they apparently receive (really? On mattresses?). I reluctantly tried PayPal in a final attempt, and—unsurprisingly—that order was also cancelled.

This process wasted days of my time, tied up my money with no immediate refunds, and left me with zero trust in this company. Unprofessional, misleading, and in my opinion, borderline scam behavior. Avoid at all costs.

I have always loathed shopping for a mattress but I'm truly delighted with National Mattress. The selection and purchase experience were outstanding. The combined warehouse showroom allowed us to compare a huge number of mattresses quickly. The info packet for each of the mattresses was exceptionally helpful. There was zero pressure from staff who nonetheless proved to be knowledgeable and helpful once we had narrowed the field to a few candidates and, of course, the prices were generally excellent. The working warehouse environment and plastic sealing on every mattress may not be to everyone’s taste but everything was clean and so well organized that it made the selection process very easy even though the number of choices seemed overwhelming when we first arrived. The mattress was delivered on the appointed day, in the middle of the two-hour window provided the evening before. All-in-all, this was a great purchasing experience.
