Something needs to be done about this scam company
They too my hard earned $150.00 over 4 months ago and they’re not even responding to the numerous mails I sent. Reading the reviews, It’s clear I’m not alone. May they burn in hell fire

Same bad experience - it's been 6 weeks since i ordered with the expedited option - no return on two e-mail inquiries

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. I now find myself in exactly the same position as so many others:
I ordered 10 weeks ago, have been told excuses for late delivery but now they’ve gone completely silent and are ignoring my emails asking for an update or a refund.
I too have left comments on their Facebook page but they’ve all been deleted.
Absolute con artists.

Do not buy from this awful company. It’s been 3 months since I placed my order and they are ignoring all my emails and messages demanding both a refund and to know where my portrait is. I have started replying to comments on their Instagram telling people not to buy their products and am going to phone my bank tomorrow to hopefully claim my money back.

As everyone has already noted, this company is a scam. I ordered a product two months ago and have received nothing. They are not even pretending like they are working on the product but rather fill my inbox with daily "promotions" trying to get me to purchase additional artwork. PLEASE do not give these thieves attention; look elsewhere. Other similar companies exist. At worse, they are a total scam, at best WOEFULLY incompetent and not good on their word.

Ive been waiting for almost 2 months for my order and I’ve sent numerous messages with no response. Horrible.

scammers--bever shipped--they keep sending emails like they are a real company--asking 3 times for more pic--no response to 4 emails--they are scammers--why does Facebook allow this--and they do nothing about this! shame on Facebook

I ordered 4 months ago and never received my portrait.

Customer service is very bad and not helpful at all.

This is a scam guys, just runaway!!!!

I mean, really. How does a company screw up THAT badly?
Long story short, this company is a nightmare and it's one step up from a scam. I eventually got the correct portrait, but they sent it WEEKS after my friend's birthday, and that was after I had to explain why he'd gotten a stranger's face as a birthday gift. Oh, they won't respond to emails to their customer service team for three days, either- and that's if you're lucky. There's no phone number, and they will block you from social media if you post anything that makes them look incompetent (and trust me, they are). I still am powerless to post anything. I have proof of them messing up. The difference between my light-haired friend and the dark-haired, mustached man this company switched it with would be funny if it wasn't so sad.
Anyway, stay away. Or, if you were hooked in like me because you wanted to do something nice and now it's too late, call your bank to file a dispute, and raise your voice on social media. Do not let them steal from you.

They sent me a flawed portrait. They do not return emails. They certainly had no issues taking my money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. ROYALPORTRAITSCO IS DISHONEST, LOW QUALITY, HORRIBLE .... ACTUALLY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I placed my order 43 days ago and I paid for expedited processing so it would come in time for my dad's birthday. It has not arrived and I've received no word that it has shipped. When I finally heard back after weeks of sending emails and Facebook messages, they still did not tell me when it would arrive. I don't think I'm ever going to receive my order.

Sent three emails without response, never received an email with shipping details despite an email saying that shipping details would be provided soon and most definitely never received the portrait that I paid for. This is definitely a scam, do not use!

Hi ALL, my order never arrived and they simply don’t respond to emails.

1) I recommend contacting your bank and filing a dispute.

2) File a complaint with Instagram as scam

3) File a complaint with Better Business Bureau

4) File complaint with attorney general

I have inquired about my order 4 times with absolutely no response. I paid for the expedited art review. The FAQ page says that the standard timeline is 5 to 10 days for the art work and then it will be shipped. 20 days at peak season (Christmas). If you pay for expedited art review it’s faster. My order is now on 23 days without a word. They will not respond to any of my inquiries on their website or via email. Terrible customer service!!!!! I can’t rate the product because I have no idea if/when it will ever arrive. The company overall is a fail if their service department can’t even respond.

Update: 9/2 Royal Portraits customer service rep returned one of my 4 inquiries. I requested a cancellation of the order And they said they would not cancel the order because it was more than 24 hours old. They said they could give me a 50% refund to cancel the order. Who would pay 50% for an order not fullfilled? I asked when my portrait would then be done and they could not give me an ETA. They basically have no idea when it will be done or even when they will start it but they refuse to cancel the order with a full refund.

Update #2 Sept 16th, 6 weeks since I ordered. No updates from Royal Portraits, picture has yet to be created, shipped or received.

Overall: Poor Service, Poor Experience, product never received and no refund!!!

Appears to be a scam! Step 1- Delete all Facebook comments of unsatisfied customers. Step 2- Send a photoshopped photo of the completed project. Step 3- Blame COVID and the shipping company for the delay. Step 4- communicate that the portrait was ‘lost in the mail’ and blame the shipping company. Step 5- Delay responding to a refund request until the charge-back period has expired and credit card payment is received. Step 6- Rinse and repeat.

I fear I've fallen for a scam. There is absolutely no customer service. They do not respond to order status requests. They do send email solicitations several times a weeks. Requests for updates get an auto responder stating that they will reply in 72 hours. Sad.

Placed an order for Father’s Day and I received it late *and* it was the wrong painting. I’ve been waiting since for the correct painting to be sent and NOTHING. They don’t answer emails. Horrible business.

I ordered a portrait May 21 and it has never arrived (it's been 10 weeks). They will not return my emails asking for information about my order.

Awful company. I purchased something for fathers day. The wrong item arrived with someone else's order.

Having tried to contact them, their response is slow and scarce. My request for a refund was rejected and I feel incredibly cheated.

Scammers. Ordered in May. Nothing delivered. Customer service say they will do something then don't. 4 emails in I'm no further along. Then they have the cheek to offer a discount code for future purposes. Will be reporting to Instagram as a scam business. Seems a theme here.
