Once upon a time, not so long ago, I used to clean my house, cook nice meals for my family and then taxi them around to wherever they wanted to go.
Then I joined a rounders team and now I don’t have time for anything of that. My house is a mess, my kids eat fast food and they have to taxi me around because my social life is better than theirs!
I have met so many new friends and reunited with old friends too.
Joining My Rounders has changed my life! Thank you Julie Clayden for bringing Rounders to South Wales. Rounders is something we didn’t know we needed.

I’ve been playing this season for the first time with my team don’t stop
Ballieving. It has brought together so many people and developed friendships. Great fun, and would recommend it to everyone

Best thing I ever done was join my rounders in April, I have loved absolutely every minute of it, I started as a part of a team which has become like family excited for every Sunday to come to then becoming captain of teams in two other leagues and bringing ladies together and seeing how much it has also given them and the laughs it brings every week. Everyone is so lovely, supportive and a pleasure to train/compete with! I have met some amazing people and my teams have become another family! Appreciate all your hard work Julie who thought that dream less than a year ago for myrounders to become the talk of the town!

I'm 47 years old and haven't played rounders since primary school.. it all came flooding back just after one game and now there's no turning back 🥰

Rounders, Rounders, oh such fun..
A fantastic game for everyone..
Hit and run, field and throw..
Cheer your team to victory.. Ho!

So even if you're not so good..
batting style's not understood..
Just play with all your might..
And everything will be alright.

Bowler bowls, the batter swings..
Ball goes high, the fielder sings..
So run to fourth as fast as you can..
Or your victory is going down the pan.

Rounders, Rounders, let's all play..
And have some fun along the way.

I joined as a lone player back on the launch day in 2022. I was placed with a team of people i had never met before. They are now my friends, we laugh have fun and love rounders. It has been a supportive place for someone like me who isn't naturally sporty, to try new things, get fit and exercise at least twice a week.

My only criticism is that it is addictive! Lol! I now think about rounders whenever theres a quiet hour, even forcing the kids to play!!

Best thing I ever done was join my rounders, I have loved absolutely every minute of it, everyone is so lovely, supportive and a pleasure to train/compete with! I have met some amazing people and my team has become another family! Thank you Julie for all your hard work and making our Sundays more enjoyable and for bringing the community together to have fun! Appreciate all your hard work 🙌🏼 myrounders has become the talk of the town!

I LOVE MY ROUNDERS! Not only have I found another love for another sport but made life long friends along the way. It’s not just about the matches but socialising and bonding during other times too!

I LOVE ROUNDERS! Not once did I say that when it was compulsory in primary school. Here I am 38 years old and I now own 3 bats, a variety of balls, organize training sessions, captain a team plus play for another AND started umpiring! First time in my adult life being part of a team sport and I love it! The fun, the comradery, the competition and the child free "me time"😁 thank you My Rounders for helping me find something for me ❤️

I heard about my rounders just under a year ago. Some friends and I started to create a team and then found others who would like to join us. We have now played 2 seasons as a team (Son of a Pitch) and have not only found a sport we all love, but made fantastic friendships. We live for our Sunday Rounders matches l!

MyRounders is a fantastic community to be part of and we're so lucky to have something so amazing in South Wales.

I can't wait to see how MyRounders progress'. Julie has put so much effort into making MyRounders what it is today and it's continued to go from strength to strength over the last year.

If you're on the fence about joining a team in any of the leagues, I can assure you that you won't look back!

Was really hesitant about joining as I’d not played since I was in school, but felt I needed to do something for myself. Well I absolutely love it!! Everyone on the team is so friendly and is great being a part of team where we are all just having fun.

I joined MyRounders back in June and it’s been a great way to get outside, keep fit and make new friends! Our team was put together by MyRounders as individuals/pairs and I cannot fault it at all. Our team is fantastic and it’s been lovely to make new friends of all ages/backgrounds. Everything is so well organised and it speaks for itself that so many choose to play in multiple teams/leagues several nights a week!

Playing rounders again after four decades has been transformational! Thanks to My Rounders I have not only been able to play a competitive league sport again but also to do that alongside my 20-year-old son and daughter. No other sport could have given me such a memorable family experience. I love the new friends I have made in both teams I play for and the feeling that on a rounders pitch I am a relevant and valued teammate. Incredibly well run, My Rounders is highly recommended!

Only joined a month ago and it's been great.
So easy to sign up to play and pay for games. It's run very well and I for one have enjoyed.

Absolutely the best way to spend your Sunday..... and Monday and Tuesday and Friday! Never in my wildest dreams would I ever think that I would be playing sport at 48 yrs old, considering I've never been 'that sporty person' but after signing up to MyRounders last October, I can't think of a better way to spend my Sundays now!! I love it so much and it's given me a way to exercise that's fun and yet competitive! I've also met so many new people and made the best friends! Shout out to my amazing team mates Base Invaders! Thank you Julie for giving us MyRounders, for our rounders family and also for other opportunities to learn new skills like umpiring. Julie, you really have created something incredibly special which is totally inclusive and I would recommend anyone to come and play MyRounders whatever your age and fitness level and I guarantee you'll be made so welcome by one and all and will be ADDICTED!! Rounders is life!!

Absolutely love this little game called rounders, well not so little now since starting back at the making of it. Never been one for sports but now a part in the Sunday and Friday rounders league, have also joined a females over 30's rugby team. I suppose your never to old to start sports.
Love how many people I have met through rounders, and how it can take hold of you.

Having been involved in football on Sundays for 25+ years either playing or coaching, when I stepped down in Nov 2022, I was worried about how the void could be filled. Having suffered with poor mental health due to personal trauma, sport and exercise has kept me on the straight and narrow. Not only does rounders help my mental health, it helps keep me active and more importantly has broadened my social circle. Everyone is so friendly, the banter is great and we all love it! The leagues are so well organised and run, it’s not just a game, it’s a community

As a sports enthusiast, I’ve always been looking for new and exciting ways to get my fix. When I discovered MyRounders, I was hooked immediately. It’s the perfect way to get some exercise, have fun and meet new people.

I’ve been playing rounders since April and I can honestly say it has changed my life for the better. I’ve made lifelong friendships, and have always felt welcome and included. I’m so grateful to have found MyRounders, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun and social way to get involved in sport.

I have a bit of a competitive spirit, but that’s what is so fantastic about My rounders, there really is something for everyone, banter, keeps you fit plus you get to meet and have a laugh with some lovely people. I love my Tuesday and Friday teams!

Highly recommend joining a rounders team through Myrounders. Julie is fantastic and I have become addicted to playing twice a week and absolutely love it!! Have made new friends and love our team. Great for making new friends, getting fit and having fun!
