Please don't go near this company. I was recently locked out of my house and called the first came up on a google search,they could not give me a quote because they didn't know what was involved. The man that turned up was very pleasant and got on with the job.My old lock was drilled out and a new one fitted,the work took about 15mins and I was presented with a bill of just over £600. At that point there was nothing I could do but pay. Stay well away no matter how desperate you are.

Guys, if you’re reading this — please be careful.

This company charged me over £600 just to change a lock. They refused to give me a price upfront and only revealed the cost after the work was finished, when I had no real ability to say no. They also insisted I pay immediately at my door in a way I found intimidating and forceful — I was alone, felt scared, and paid under pressure.

I took the matter to court and obtained a County Court Judgment (CCJ) against them. The company has ignored the CCJ and still hasn’t paid. Because the claim is under £750, I can’t file for a bankruptcy petition, which makes enforcement harder for consumers.

I’m considering reporting this to Action Fraud, as the behaviour felt highly misleading.

Just want others to be aware before using this company.

I had lost my apartment keys and was locked out of my unit, the number for these sharks came up and they could get someone out in 20mins . The locksmith was helpful and explained that my lock was not standard and needed to be drilled out as it was double locked. He replaced the lock and mechanism , but it was the cost that shocked me. I was ok with a call out , but to charge £489 for a £89 lock and installation as well as call out charge over was hard to take. I have since done some research and the £1000 charge is crazy.

Operator who took the call had a bad line/was difficult to understand. Sent locksmith to the wrong address on the street. Nice enough locksmith and gained entry and let us in. Then fitted a new lock cylinder - it was incredibly expensive. Cylinder and keys look cheap and nasty and so I will re-replace the Cylinder. Local locksmith says the "standard charge" should have been about less than half the amount that I was charged. KEEP YOUR LOCAL LOCKSMITH DETAILS SAVED IN YOUR MOBILE PHONE.

If I could give zero stars I would. My elderly mother was scammed of over £2,000 from this company to open the door for her when she was locked out. I'm heartbroken and furious for her! This is horrendous behaviour. Please do NOT use this company.

I recently had to call an emergency locksmith to replace a lock. While the service was prompt and the lock was installed successfully, the price charged was shocking:
• The same lock retails online for £40–£60, yet I was charged £285.
• No itemised breakdown of labour, or parts was provided prior to the bill.
• This pricing feels excessive and exploitative, especially in an emergency situation where there was little choice but to accept the service.

I am concerned this may constitute overcharging or misrepresentation. Consumers should be cautious, and this company may warrant reporting to Trading Standards to prevent similar experiences for others.

I have emailed the company and I hope that they will refund me as a gesture of goodwill.

Please read this, don’t use their service. Long story short:
They didn’t fix the problem after various attempts, on the last one we were refused the money back and/or a final solution to the problem (they wanted to charged us more than the agreed amount first time), despite the issue was still on the warrant.
We dealt with them with this issue and another one for 2 months, the locksmith that came to our house different times both of them were aggresive and intimidating, the last call with the manager was as intimidating.

Please don’t use this company.

They are scammers, and I don't want anyone else to be taken advantage of. They can't actually fix locks, their work is poor quality, the locksmiths they send are aggressive, abusive and intimidating. They charge about 4x the market rate. Please please stay well clear. They have caused immense stress and anxiety for me and my husband, and at the end of it all, we are £1200 out of pocket and have to call another locksmith to secure our property as these guys haven't managed to fix a simple lock (but have stood in our kitchen screaming at us and being verbally abusive). Do not use them under any circumstances. The worst sort of scam, preying on people at vulnerable moments. Absolutely shameful. We have attempted to find a resolution by sending emails and speaking to the manager, but they refuse to accept that they are at fault or offer any sort of compensation. We have also made complaints to Trading Standards and the Master Locksmith Association, who are in regular touch with the local police. Hopefully only a matter of time before they are prevented from continuing their scam operation.

Absolute conman who has been in court for doing this. Just look up Adrian Rosu online, it’s the guy who runs the company.

I should have read the reviews - Horrible, miserable Man arrived with a face like thunder, couldn't even introduce himself, didnt want to discuss the job, he was completely arrogant and would not commit to a response beyond "ill try by best" tried to scam me for a call out charged and then when I asked him to leave as this had not been discussed when I booked he changed his tone and agree to waiver this charge - He was aggressive, surly and insulting when he tried to charge me for metal plate costing £2,00 each on amazon for £15.00 each and got all upset when I said I needed to charge him for parking - I paid him as I wanted him out of my house - he made me very uncomfortable and I did not feel safe .

Disappointing experience.
I was in a rush and needed the fastest possible solution, so I called the first locksmith that came up in my search. Like many others have mentioned, they quoted £45 over the phone but failed to explain that additional charges and VAT would be added.
The locksmith arrived quite late—though I understand traffic can be unpredictable—and then asked me to arrange parking for him.
What concerned me most was that he managed to open my door in just a few seconds using a plastic card. It felt very insecure, and now I feel I need to use my second lock more regularly for safety.
Wouldn’t recommend! Avoid.

Quoted me £45, which turned into £375 after they did the job 😂 absolute robbers, should feel guilty

Scammers and thieves- just say no. Embarrassment to all Romanians. Drives up in black Mercedes Benz and steals from 85yr old 1400 pounds for small job. Why is the tax dept not investigating as they ate not paying vat? Thieves don't prosper.

Charged almost £1000 to change a lock. He initially refused to give me a quote or estimate. Then it ended up being almost £1000. Not happy at all. He inflated everything in price. I've recently lost my job and i have children to feed, I cannot afford to lose £1000. Scammers. I want my money back.

Just charged my 80 year old mum £280 for a £30 lock

Charged me £202.80 to damaged my lock and refused to change it unless I paid £170 more. It took the man less than a minute to open my door. Charging someone £202.80 for 30seconds is beyond extortion. I have reported them to the trading standards.

Absolute scam.

My fault for not doing my due diligence, but please heed mine and others warnings!

Quoted me £49+VAT+Parts for replacing a failed lock, then £69 per hour plus parts for an additional new lock install.

No mention of a call out fee.

Proceeded to add multiple dubious charges, and markup the costs of the locks by 500%. £189 for a lock I could get from screwfix for £30.

Culminating to a £498 bill. Shameful!

Stole £470 from my mother in law.
I have no issue with locksmiths charging £50 for a callout, which is more than fair, but its just a hook to let them rip you off.
Didn't even try to pick a simple Yale door lock, just drilled it allowing them to charge another £110.
Then the real stinger.
£200 to supply and fit a cheap £10 barrel lock.
This took 10 minutes.
These people, Romanian scam artists, are in for a surprise.
Check out my name. I'm going to run these con artists all over London on fake calls to at least get some satisfaction.
They are predators on the vulnerable and so the gloves are off.

lock services London ltd of Boston road. After checking this company out and had listed trustpilot and checka trader on theor website i trusted i would not be ripped off. call out charge £59.59 no issues with this one hour labour £49.49 no issues with this as he was on site for about 45 mins. this is where i have issue £169 to open jammed lock by drilling i understand what needed doing but i would have thought this was the labour charge. Then to fit a door lock barrel costing £289 is unbelievable total cost £566 + vat £679 I asked for the lock details to see where he got the price only to be told its bsi high standard fitting. I have looked on line for a lock llike this and they are all around £20 so i called them to get more details however i was told to email the issue wich i did i then chased it up and afer a week no responce and i also called but again i was told email in so here i am now letting everyone know my experance of this company. Avoid them if possable if not make sure you understand what the charges are going to be.
