Their website was clear, practical and easy to use. Communication throughout the process was excellent—not only with us in Canada, but also directly with the German car dealership. They coordinated everything professionally, kept the process moving, and most importantly, completed everything within the promised timeframe.

The best way to describe our experience is this: we literally showed up at the German dealership on the agreed date, and our registered car was sitting there waiting for us, ready to go.

I began communicating with CarTurf approximately 2 months before my trip to Europe. I watched all the videos available on Facebook and their web site and was genuinely looking forward to becoming a customer. The concept made a great deal of sense to me. Initially, the communication with staff was responsive and helpful. That changed when I emailed them links to possible car choices, as instructed to do. Mind you, I had spent many hours narrowing my choices. There is nothing on the web site that warns customers that the company has a cut-off for how much a person must spend on a car to become a CarTurf customer. Even though I said I was willing to pay up to 6,000 euros (and, frankly, would have spent more), that was apparently not enough because I was essentially ghosted after being told that a) they were busy with customers with bigger budgets and b) a lower priced car can create problems for them (in summary). At one point, the founder, Marcus, spent 30 minutes on a video call with me and told me that he would get back to me with a list of local cars that fit my criteria and we could go from there. The idea was that I would pay for a mechanic to view the cars, thereby cutting any risk to them. I followed up twice to ask about progress on the list, and heard nothing. There are other options out there that I could have explored, but I essentially wasted the 2-plus months I had before starting my trip by working with CarTurf. I am now in Europe and out of time; hence, forced into a position that I was trying to avoid: Pouring thousands of dollars into a rental car. Although I asked them to be transparent about the basis for the ghosting, my best guess is that the issue either had to do with my budget or, possibly, my age (I'm about to turn 60). Though they didn't own up to the age-related possibility, I was very clear that I was willing to stretch my budget. Either way, I'm not happy at being led to believe I was in good hands and then getting abruptly dropped weeks before my trip. I hope this post saves someone from a similar fate.

Buying my car was honestly a long and frustrating process, at first I tried on my own for 2 weeks and got no where. but these guys made all the difference. They were trustworthy, reliable, and always quick to respond whenever I had questions or needed help. They were willing to work with me and made sure I understood my options instead of just trying to make a sale. Most importantly, they helped me get a great deal and made the entire experience much less stressful. I really appreciated their honesty, professionalism, and patience throughout the process. My Car Turf was extremely slow and hard to work with. They said they would get us reimbursement for a tow from insurance when their insurance tow service couldn't help us in the field and then never bothered to get us our 350 euros back. They said they would help sell our vehicle, but then never listed it or helped with more than questions from sellers so we had to handle the whole sale ourselves remotely. They charged us their montly fee for their services after the vehicle sold. Find someone else to register your vehicle in Europe if you possibly can!!!

discovered Marcus, CarTurf online, who assisted me in registering my camper van in Germany. I had purchased it in Basel, Switzerland, and drove it to Germany to obtain a tag, insurance, and pay the import and VAT taxes.

This company is a god's gift this we bought a motorhome in Germany and the plan was to register it in Andorra we had export plates on it and ofc we ran into a problem at the France border in Andorra and on our way back to Germany we started looking into other options cose if we want to sell the motorhome we could only sell it to Andorrians then we came across mycarturf.com after doing some research scam checking and so on we decided to go with mycarturf this company is amazing we went down to spain to relax shipped the plates and the documents to them and relaxed wile mycarturf did there thing few days later we got new plates and the car registered in Germany the service level of this company is on a different level quick response at any level I highly recommend mycarturf.com

I am an American traveling to Europe for 7 months and decided to buy a car outright. I chose a few different used cars for sale on Mobile.de website and sent Marcus links to those picks. His team went to check out my chosen cars for suitability and sealed the deal with the used car dealership in Germany. I transferred my funds directly to the dealership and Marcus picked up my car and was waiting for me at the Frankfurt Airport when I got off the plane from San Francisco with my dog and cat. He arranged the purchase, the registration with the German version of the DMV, my car plates and even insurance. I've crossed in and out of the EU so far with no issues. CarTurf has been amazing.
From day 1 Markus and the team have been very helpful and responsive. We decided to purchase a motorhome and whilst CarTurf are not experts in motorhomes, they provided an immense amount of assistance in acquiring the van and getting it inspected and cleared for our road-trip. They were happy to answer any and all of our questions, and were fantastic at communicating with the sellers during the buying process.

We had explored many options for purchasing a motorhome in Europe, all of which were more complicated and expensive. Marcus and his team provide an excellent service and are continuing to provide fantastic support to us during our trip.

I opted for the Autopilot plan. CarTurf scheduled my appointment at the vehicle inspection office in Frankfurt and the vehicle registration office in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. I was visiting family in Frankfurt, so it was more convenient to do the inspection on my own. Otherwise, CarTurf offered to accompany me to the inspection at their location.

When it was time for registration, I met Marcus from CarTurf at the office. He explained the process while we waited our turn. He handled everything from organizing all the registration documents to getting the plates.
