Wedding at Murthly Castle June 2019
My husband and I went to visit Murthly Castle in February 2018 just after we got engaged. It was the only wedding venue we visited as the moment we saw it, we fell in love with it. We loved everything about it from the long drive up to the Castle through the beautiful Murthly Estate to the stunning private chapel.
The intimacy of the private chapel and the beautiful walled gardens were the perfect setting for our wedding in June 2019. Thomas, the owner of Murthly Castle, was fantastic to deal with and was readily available to assist with any queries and organisation we needed. He provided lots of great advice including a list of very useful suppliers for the day.
All of our guests commented on how beautiful Murthly Castle was for our special day and it exceeded all of our expectations. We cannot recommend it enough to anyone looking for their very own fairytale wedding.

June Wedding
Beautiful venue - everything we could have wished for. Thomas and his family were very accommodating for visiting during planning stages. Thomas was on hand during the day if need be. We had our initial wedding reception drinks in the courtyard, and marquee in the grounds.

We couldn’t have wished for a better venue
Our experience was 5 star from our first meeting with Thomas until the day after the wedding. No ask was too much and Raymond from the estate was the most amazing help on the days running up to the wedding and the wedding day itself. I honestly would recommend this venue to anyone!! We had the best day. Thanks again to Murthly Estate.

An atmospheric and magical experience!
We have organised small concerts in the very atmospheric Murthly Castle Chapel with afternoon tea in the Castle billiard room. The ancient buildings and gracious drive and gardens are breath taking. The owners are a pleasure to work with and the whole experience for visitors from the UK and abroad is magical.

It’s beauty is haunting!
My husband and I had the most amazing day at the most perfect setting. The castle is such an ethereal and haunting place and we were all very emotional, overwhelmed by its beauty. Thomas was very accommodating and we were privileged to have our picture taken within the grounds and within his beautiful home. Highly recommended!
