Truck delivery was on time and clean. Trailer was packed as per schedule and delivered as per schedule. Driver called before hand and was very courteous. All in all moving service was great. Phone support was excellent.

I was worried about this being a legitimate company because I was moving furniture from a place where I didn’t and never lived to my new home across the country. I researched as much as I could, but still was unsure about whether I was being scammed. I was staying at a hotel so I couldn’t store the trailer and they agreed for me to drop off my shipment at a faculty in Houston. All of this seemed too good to be true. I purchased my flight to Houston and kept my fingers crossed that everything would work out. The day started rocky because I couldn’t find the facility (since I’m unfamiliar with Houston). I was RELIEVED when I called, texted, and emailed (while they were on break) and they called me back immediately. Not only did they call me back, they stayed on the phone with me until I got back to the facility where I could load my items and they knew I wouldn’t have any problems. I couldn’t ask for a better handoff!

If you are afraid to use this company because you can’t “see” them or walk into their office, rest assured they are legitimate and very personable. I can’t remember the woman’s name, but she sensed my concern and took as much time as necessary to calm my fears. It was the kind of customer service this country used to have. This company isn’t a scam. They are a legit company that will work over time to make sure you are at ease. Spending that much money requires a trust that is hard yo give these days BUT trusting that this company is legit was a great move on my part 🥳🥰

Great communication and easy to follow step by step. MovingPlace supported follow up with carrier when carrier missed the day to pick up moving trailer.

Management and drivers very helpful and professional. One small issue: the loading ramp was not on the truck at the destination for unloading, so that was a minor inconvenience. Otherwise all went as planned and scheduled.

Arrived in a timely manner, had all the supplies we needed. They stayed in good communication with us and ensured our items arrived at the time with plenty of time to unload thank you!

The drop off and pick up at the first location was incredibly efficiant. The driver was helpful and nice.

The delivery to the final destination had multiple hiccups. There was a street wire that was too low and required removal. The wrong truck was delivered. This lead to a week delay in delivery.

Once the issue once the wire was resolved the truck was delivered and picked up in a timely manor.

For the price this was a good choice in moving. Without the hiccups it would be a 5 star rating.

My move with MovingPlace went very smooth. Customer service rep. Ben was very helpful keeping the process flowing. I was given details on how my move would go, and my expectation for the move and all went as planned. Thank you for providing such a great service.

Ben was very helpful with assisting us with our move. He got the truck, trailer, and driver organized for us to move within just a few days of our initial contact. He was professional, patient, and coordinated everything for us. I highly recommend using MovingPlace for your next move!

I’ve used this company twice now and both times the move was pretty easy. My only issue with the second move was that no one called me when they were dropping off the container to load. Tracking the shipment using the tracker code they give you was easy too.

Moved from Utah to small-town Missouri. They found us a carrier who would take our stuff off the beaten path. Customer service was great; I'd call and get ahold of Laura or Ben and they were both so helpful and polite. Our trailer showed up right when they said it would and dropped off the same. All around great. Would recommend and would use again.

I had a great experience with Moving Place for our cross-country move. Ben, the contact person I worked with, was professional, patient, and clearly explained all the services provided. The sign-up process was seamless and straightforward, and when I needed to reschedule the move, he was very accommodating and helpful. The moving trailer was picked up and delivered right on time at both ends of the trip, and Ben followed up at every step to make sure everything went smoothly. While we were responsible for loading and unloading our boxes, the overall price was very reasonable compared to other options. I’m very satisfied with the service and would definitely recommend Moving Place to others planning a long-distance move.

I'm so happy I found MovingPlace as an option for my move from Colorado to TX. I had a small storage unit of household items to move and this was the most affordable option I could find. I did have to load and unload the truck myself with friends/family but it was worth it and not a big deal for me, personally. After doing extensive research and reading so many negative reviews about moving companies, I finally found a gem, someone I could trust and assure me piece of mind.

MovingPlace provided excellent service every step of the way. My husband and I have now used them for two long distance moves from California to Florida and a year later from Florida to Maine. In both instances, Chris and Ben were professional, efficient and courteous, as well as keeping us updated as to the location of the truck, remaining in constant communication throughout the moving process - and with NO added surprises usually associated with moving companies concerning extra costs, damaged items or delayed date/time of delivery.

This resulted in a peaceful and enjoyable experience trusting your belongings will be safe and delivered at the scheduled time under such stressful conditions long distance moves tend to cause.

A special mention to wonderful Chris who always answered my innumerable questions and phone calls with such patience and kindness, and with a calm and quick efficiency so as not to fail us. Truly unbelievable. :) All this while we were both going through an approaching hurricane right before our move. He also provided us with local helpers to help us pack faster who were great and very much needed.

Chris truly cares in providing a happy experience and I am happy that people like this still exist. My husband and I highly recommend MovingPlace and only wish for others to reap the benefits of such a great moving company at your service.

We had a great experience from start to finish. They were very accommodating and the truck arrival and removal were as very smooth. The ability to load the truck but not have to drive it, is so nice! You get plenty of time to load and unload the truck so you don’t have to be rushed. Overall I would use them again!
