I booked and prepaid for the service weeks in advance. Two days before the move I received a text from someone saying that they were fully booked and couldn’t help me, but that I was free to cancel and find someone else“free of charge”. If not for my family I would have been in an impossible situation. When I asked the person texting me to cancel and refund the money I paid, they said that they couldn’t do that. Calling the number they provided sent me to an AI attendant that said my estimated wait time was more than 60 minutes. Would NOT recommend trusting this service with something as important and time sensitive as a move.

The movers showed up right on time and immediately started working. Everything was carefully moved from one location to another without damage. The price was excellent and made for a very affordable move.

Excellent! Could not be happier with our choice. The ease of adding the movers onto our U-Haul truck reservation was seamless and easy to do. The movers were exceptional. They were kind, respectful, and highly efficient. They finished the job faster than anticipated.

I was actually really happy initially that I found this site through our U-Haul rental, however I ended up Extremely disappointed with my experience. I used the platform to book a local crew, but they completely ghosted me on moving day. When I contacted customer service, I was told that because they are independent contractors, there wasn't much the platform could do immediately to get me a replacement crew but they would try and for same day change it would definitely be more money. they finally end up showing up after multiple back and forth it’s them via text and phone calls (per them due to another move they also had planned- meaning they double booked themselves and still took our move - a local move I come to find out meanwhile we had to be on the road to another state) they finally showed up 6 hours late, no refund partial
or otherwise, barely an apology and moving help can’t do anything, I had to argue with them to open a dispute with haul directly which they didn’t want to do and when I got the case # it was linked to the open comping with moving help not U-Haul like I asked. Be careful if you choose to book them and make sure you do not have a timeline for the day of just in case but also you can get local movers direct for the same price if not less, since moving help doesn’t help with issues but they do take a % from the movers for connecting them with people. I will say the Florida local movers we met and used were fantastic.

DO NOT book moving help through U-haul. Terrible contractors. Do they even screen these businesses? The first mover that flaked on me has an active warrant. I was scrambling last minute for loading AND unloading because movinghelp scheduled me with two unprofessional movers who refused to answer calls until the day before, then refused service. The first time, I booked a different company last minute through movinghelp for the loading. The movers could only bring one U-box at a time because movinghelp didn’t update the storage facility that I had two boxes, and the facility was an hour away, so they had to bring the first box, fill it, drive alllll the way back to the storage facility, get the second box, then bring it to my house and back. Good god. It was pretty cheap though—you get what you pay for. Save yourself the trouble and choose self-load and pick-up and hire a mover privately!

Using the MovingHelp.com platform (owned by eMove, Inc., a Nevada corporation, which is in turn owned by U-Haul Holding Company, a Nevada corporation) is very risky if you need time critical labor in connection with a move. It presents itself as an easy resource to find movers and touts itself as a "neutral venue and online clearinghouse", but it is far from neutral. I had a MovingHelp scheduled mover no show and ghost me for a U-Haul load in June 2026, leaving me to scramble to directly call multiple local movers the same day (MovingHelp's customer service was useless). The replacement mover cost me 50% more on a last minute basis. MovingHelp did nothing but refund the amount I prepaid to MovingHelp for the scheduled (but no show) mover. They would not even encourage the no show mover to reimburse me for my excess costs (despite the leverage they can exert over their movers by threatening to ban them from the platform). I told MovingHelp that I at least wanted to leave a detailed negative review on the platform regarding the no show mover. They refused, stating that they would only mark it as a "zero" star engagement, with no detailed review, so that it only affected the mathematical average star rating of the mover. Refusing to let a customer provide detail in a format that other potential customers of the platform can see is effectively minimizing negative feedback so that the MovingHelp platform can "protect" its moving providers (and the reputation of the platform itself) and drive greater volume revenue to MovingHelp. I would have been far better off shopping for a mover through yelp or other sources where I could contact and negotiate with the potential movers directly. Lesson learned. I won't again make the mistake of using MovingHelp to hire a mover. The only potential usefulness of the platform is to get a sense of the range of market rates.

I booked Q-Haul Moverz through MovingHelp to help with unloading a moving van. The provider did not show up. When I called the contact number provided for the order, the person I reached told me they were not coming, repeatedly lied to me, was incredibly rude, and continuously raised their voice at me. I did not receive the service I booked, and this caused serious disruption on moving day. I am posting this so future customers know about my no-show experience and the unprofessional communication I received from the contact person.

When I told Movinghelp what happened, I had to wait 45 minutes to speak with someone. They did find another moving company to help me but Movinghelp said they cost more and would NOT comp me the difference because they said they cannot be held responsible for anything.

Essentially, Movinghelp contracts with PEOPLE, NOT COMPANIES to help you move. Use at your own risk.

HORRIBLE experience with them - and the high reviews through UHaul is all undeserved. The packers they sent stood over me at the end of the job to pressure me to put in "5" reviews...which I did unfortunately! I had paid the extra money for the insurance to protect my belongings in transit. When movers on delivery end unloaded the UHaul boxes, they saw and pointed out to me before they took the furniture out of the UHaul box that 2 pieces of furniture were damaged, a desk that had extra heavy stuff put on top of it and no blanket for protection - (the corner of the desk broke off).. A bookcase that did not have a blanket protecting it and it got all scratched up during the move. They did say it was improperly packed. I submitted claim to insurance and after back and forth over a month later, insurance sent letter saying they don't cover damage caused by improper packing. Called Moving Help (the branch of UHaul that recommends local movers and they directed me to call Pacific Coast directly. The owner Travis, was very defensive and said I would have to prove beyond a doubt, with pictures and all or video as if I were in a criminal justice courtroom, showing his packers dropped and broke something. I reiterated that it was just improper packing that caused the damage and he says he can't do anything about it!!! His attitude and demeanor were very condescending almost threatening.....Everyone points the finger at everyone else! No one will take responsibility and buying insurance is money down the drain....DO NOT USE Pacific Coast..

Never hire AMC labor company in California even if UHaul recommends you to. Hire your own trusted labor company.

I was in Contact with Mario from AMC labor in California. He was supposed to meet me at 2:15 on the day of to load my truck and when I texted him to see if he is on his way he said that he was not coming.

He could have given me at least two hours notice so I could plan accordingly and hire another labor team and not surprise me with the bad news last minute. He was super disrespectful and ignorant.

I ended up paying more money in the end to a reliable company to load my truck.
Not to say when Mario never showed up I called moving help to report the issue but they never answered the phone.

If you get an email or call from AMC and Mario Poppy RUNNN bc he is not going to show up to load or unload your uhaul.
Save yourself the stress.

In the past, Ive been blown away by how efficient and fast movers for my past two moves were. Because lf that, I fully expected to (luck out?) And have good movers again. They're (fakely) rated highly on Uhaul.

Thanks to their slow incompetence, I did a lot of the heavy lifting (tiny woman). I trained them on how to use plastic wrap. Cover furniture. Use common sense when stacking.

They broke a glass bowl heirloom and didn't even apologize. Dragged mattresses and pillows and sofa on the dirty ground.

They took 3X as long as expected.

So even though I had a hotel room, thanks to them, I was forced to spend the night in my empty home on the cold hard floor - before my international flight - to finish moving alone.

They cost me sleep and sanity.

Then, they had the cojones to charge me for the "extra hours" - AFTER I HAD APPROVED and PAID the agreed upon hours and WITHOUT getting my signed approval.

Pretty sure it is illegal to charge me without my approval.

I will be pursuing reimbursement.

And ideally funding for my loss of glass item, furniture damage and the training time I gave them, dar too graciously.....

Under no circumstances use movinghelp.com. Hire a real moving company that stands behind the quality of their work and will reimburse damages. Want their real reviews? Go to trustpilot. It’s 1.8 stars at the time of this writing for a reason.
I hired moving help due to convenience and saw the high ratings on Uhaul.com while renting a truck. Do not be fooled though, moving help legally positioned themselves to not be liable for damages of their movers by positioning themselves as a marketplace. They then deemphasize damage risk and move the cost for insurance and backing the work as an extra cost to you, the consumer.
On the phone they claimed their review system keeps movers good and honest, but this is simply not true. The reviews are inflated because they pay you to review shortly after loading, before moving damages can be assessed.
Hire a real moving company, not this sham of a marketplace with nickle and dime movers that do not give a damn about your stuff. I lost over $3000 of stuff due to poor loading of items. My only recourse is small claims court, but I moved, and it would cost a fortune to go back to local claims court several times.

The worst of the worst. After the move, I couldn't believe the damage the movers caused. I had blankets provided and none were used (SMH). There is a reason why you use blankets to avoid the scratches. This occured with multiple furnitures including my dresser, dining table, and ottoman. Not to mention the 50 inch TV was knocked over on the asphalt (hope it works) and the glass lamp shade that shattered everywhere.

Also one mover was constantly on his phone... its moving time, not phone time and I even helped along the way.

I handsomely tipped $30 each but not knowing the damage, it would of been a lot less. Poorly executed!

I had a mover no-show, without calling or texting me, and I only knew 45 minutes into my move because he had said that was his arrival window. Since the job was “cancelled”, I can’t leave a negative review about how much his no show screwed me. Unique Touch Pros in Portland Oregon. He still has 5 stars! How many other people has he done this to? How many more will he do it to? I don’t know but I won’t be booking through this site again. Its reviews and contractors can’t be trusted.

2 guys didn't show up, no compensation provided even after it was promised over the phone. Seek alternative for your move rather than at the last minute being left to move everything yourself.

The mover had a gun on them the whole time. Then destroyed the building garage door by trying to enter resident only area with a uHaul. They did not have any plates on the car and refused to provide insurance information even though the building has them on camera.

The Moving help assistance was excellent. I am pleased with the professional help of the two employees that assisted me in my moving of furniture. They were highly skilled in the mechanics of moving. Michael Piperski. 7/22/2025

Worst customer "service" experience EVER. Literally EVER.
Avoid this company at all costs.
1) made a reservation for a MORNING move/2 hour loading help. no contact from movers for nearly 24 hours. When we finally got a response it was for movers to show up "sometime around 10 am" or before noon. No commitment to a more specific time. In most definitions 'morning" would be before or by 10 am. NOT only that, but they tried to shake me down for a "heavy object" exorbitant fee for a small stackable w/d that WAS NOT part of the quoted fee. They also seemingly did not like that we are on a 2nd floor unit. When I asked about a more specific time, they told me to ask for a refund and that they could not help me, leaving me without a mover. No response after that.
2) I then tried calling Moving No-Help. I waited for 38 minutes on hold only to be disconnected. I waited for another 1 hour and 47 minutes on hold before giving up (I have a screenshot as proof).
I tried their 'live chat" and waited for 21 minutes. That was after the chat said it would be ONE minute wait to start the chat. Then I got someone who took 3-5 minutes to review each response I gave trying to explain our situation. Sloth slow.
"Kristy" said they are a very small team as if that were the rationale behind slow to non-existent responsiveness.
I repeatedly tried to explain that I was concerned about rescheduling via their service if I had to wait 24 hours to get a confirmation and then risk the same lame cancellation. When she just couldn't seem to understand my most basic questions, I asked if I could SPEAK with a person and she didn't even reply appropriately to that but instead she said "we don't have control over rates movers charge". So I wasted another 40 minutes combo on hold plus the chat for no result.
I then had to CALL to get the cancellation processed.
All told, I probably spent 3 hours on trying to first confirm and then cancel White Glove Movers (who are scammers).
my recommendation is to use ANY other business to help you with securing a mover or moving help than Moving No-Help.com.
3 hours later and I still don't see a refund transaction either following the cancellation.
Moving No-Help is a useless and careless broker for moving assistance and I'd advise you to avoid doing business with them at all costs.
Every word from them highlighted that they have no control over anything that can HELP a customer.
THE WORST experience ever.
Customers basically have to pay the fees only to get a hold on a reservation not an actual confirmation or actually confirming service. So customers take on all the risk that money will debited for services that everyone else seems to claim are out of their control to secure.
If you use Moving NO-help.com you will be gambling with movers that will cancel and leave you scrambling to make other arrangements at the last minute.
JUST DON'T RISK it.
A company that has such poor systems in place for a customer to resolve issues or ask questions doesn't deserve your business.
I decided to not risk reserving moving help through this company and therefore spent 4 hours talking to other companies. The result was that I secured moving assistance but at twice the cost because it was short notice.
So it's worth repeating: don't do business with Moving No-Help.com

Austin local movers never showed up or responded I was refunded however I had to pay more to find movers same day due to movers never answering or canceling the move do not book with moving help!

These guys are the worst. The movers never showed up, even after I was texted the night before. I flew across country to meet them but they never showed.
Customer service is not helpful and they get indignant if you complain.
