I hired drivers, mini bus from Simon for my own National 3 Peaks challenge through my business. The drivers both had knowledge, friendly and had a good laugh which is always nice when you are on these jobs. The mini bus was clean and very for for purpose. Simon and the drivers communication with me was excellent and I have already rebooked. Thank you

From our initial booking through to the actual event Mountaineerin were absolutely first class. Incredibly responsive on email with really clear communication & instruction, follow up by our guide on the day being incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, & very quickly an extension to our team & wanting us to achieve our goal.
I wouldn't think twice about booking with the team again, & have already recommended them to many friends looking to do similar challenges.

We did the 3 peaks in mid june with mountaineerin and it was a cracking experience. We did it in a small group of 10 of in a minibus, which is a great way to do it as you feel well looked after and it felt like a close knit group.Thanks to Danny, Rob, Laurie, Suzy and the 2nd driver (name escapes me my brain was half working at 3am in the morning) for the excellent company and looking after us. Would recommend this company very professional, pick ups, drop offs all very easy too, and the b&b we stayed in was great too.

Mountaineerin made our experience in the Lakes so special with all the plans they put into place. A group of 38 people from work were taking part in a monumental challenge for charity from Buttermere to The Langdale Valley 29k over 9 peaks. It was the hottest day of the year. The guides were all very well organised and put into place well laid plans to escort people that couldn't make the whole trek. They also altered the route for the majority of the group to miss off a couple of the peaks. Safety was a priority of the day. Everyone achieved so much and got so much out of it. Well done to the guides and Mountaineerin. We have used them before and will use them again for sure. Simon has a great team.

I took part in the 3 Peaks Challenge last weekend and just wanted to get in touch to say thank you for such a well organised event. John was our guide and I would like to give you some feedback, John was just great! So calm and patient, he gently encouraged me when I was very happy to give up half way up Snowdon. I never felt any pressure to complete it but John has a lovely way about him where he manages to help you achieve what you think you are not capable of. He is knowledgeable and informative and adapted to work with the differing dynamics of our group. John is an asset to your company and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend your company to anyone.

Also, the drivers were amazing. Everyone on your team is friendly, supportive and encouraging. We couldn't have wanted for a better experience.

We had the most amazing time on our National 3 peaks. Sophie was just amazing and made sure we made it to the top and bottom in one piece in 22 hours and 22 minutes.
The bus transfers were seamless and we had really friendly drivers. Thank you to all involved in achieving this challenge for us.

Simon and the team at Mountaineerin Ltd were nothing short of exceptional. The planning of this event was very tricky but Simon kept us up to date the whole time with nothing left out. The event itself was great and Simon lead us extremely well. Cost wise it was worth every penny. Great company, would highly recommend.

Simon was super friendly, relaxed and calm. He put our whole group at ease and gave lots of reassurance. He was able to adapt our schedule and show flexibility to ensure that everyone in the group was able to complete the challenge - and he did this with little fuss or drama.
Darren, our driver was also very lovely, friendly and great fun.
This made the weekend for us. We had lots of laughs, learned lots, but most importantly we completed the challenge safely.
It was evident every step of the way, that Simon and the team do things 'right', especially when it comes to safety and respecting the environment.

A really well organised challenge by a very friendly company. The 24 hour three peaks challenge requires some precision logistics and Mountaineerin were spot on. Staff were great... friendly and extremely professional. I look forward to booking with them again. Highly recommended!

Great guides. Friendly drivers. Managing a team with different fitness levels is difficult and they did a good job.

Really well organised trip and the communication from Simon before the event was spot on. Ian our guide was always keeping us on track and when safe let the “ hares” go off and do their thing.
No one felt left out, the group camaraderie was superb. Even when a couple of the group had to withdraw from injury, everyone rallied round to ensure they still felt part of the overall event.

Top tip- take plenty of batteries for your head torch! Scafell pike at night with minimal vision is not for the faint hearted 😂

I did the Kilimanjaro trek with Mountaineerin in Jan 2023. It was from start to finish an incredible experience. I would give 10/5 stars if it would let me!

The support leading up to the trip was exceptional, all questions and queries with regards to planning and kit were answered and all the information we needed provided well in advance. There was even a pre trek prep weekend which was great to get to know all the other group members.

However on the mountain was when it really became clear why I had made the right choice in choosing Simon and Pam. There knowledge and experience is second to none. The summit success rate of this company is phenomenal and is due not only to their expertise but the care they give to every member of the group.

The winning combination of Pam's compassion and understanding (you can literally talk to her about anything!!) and Simon's infectious personality (his giggle and singing will not fail to put a smile on your face, even on Lava tower day!) is what makes Mountaineerin unique.

I wouldn't even consider booking with any other company now! Bring on Toubkal next year!!!

A week since I've returned home from the trip of a lifetime summiting Kilimanjaro with the amazing team at Mountaineerin. I cannot fault the organisation of this company, from the very start right through to the very end with their careful management of the whole team and trip logistics. Simon and Pam were just fantastic guides along with all the other in country staff, a very personal service from them both. A small expedition team made it so much more of a friendly experience. The fact that it was 100% success with all the team summiting speaks absolute volumes.
This is the second time I've used Mountaineerin for my international trekking, the first being Everest Base Camp. Can not recommend this company enough and their highly experienced, safe and knowledgeable team.

I can thoroughly recommend Simon of Mountaineerin as an amazing guide, after a group of 8 of us followed him up and down and around the 3 peaks a couple of weeks ago. It was an amazing thing to do and we all absolutely loved it! (well, after it was done and we were warm and dry, we loved it!).

Simon, (together with driver Darren), definitely made it a better experience, a calm influence full of funny stories and anecdotes, and good advice. From sorting out any hitches at hotels to keeping morale up and keeping us together as a group, we felt very safe even when the going got tough. He found the right balance between pushing us and encouraging us to be adventurous, but also we trusted him to make the right call and prioritise our safety when weather conditions were verging on dangerous.

The legs have just about recovered now, but it’s an experience we will never forget.

This was our first trip; we were a group of 8 friends who all felt well-looked after and well-briefed before each mountain. It was a challenge, an adventure and the feeling of achieving it was epic! Thank you to Darren for the good driving between peaks too. The scenery is stunning, the weather was sun, rain, strong wind and everything in between. The mountains are just breathtaking. Simon was the perfect guide and we were so happy that we chose Mountaineerin as the company to help us fulfil our 3 Peaks in 3 Days experience. Simon was so knowledgeable, experienced, kept us safe and feeling positive and also he’s just a great, fun person to be around. He spent so much time with us before the expedition when we were at the planning stage just to make everything perfect for all 8 of us in the group. Then once we had started the experience he was so caring to each of us to make sure everyone was coping and that we were happy with the hiking, travelling, hotels etc. We raised good money for charity and also had a once in a lifetime experience. So if you’re even slightly considering it then book it NOW with Mountaineerin, you won’t be disappointed! Even with horrific weather on one of the peaks we all still had the best most exhilarating experience. Doing the 3 peaks over 3 days really enabled us to savour the experience a bit more and take in the beautiful surroundings, as well as have a nice evening meal and a good sleep. Don’t be fooled however it’s still super tough going but most definitely worth it. I’m just sad it’s over. I’ll be looking what else I can book with them next…
