Purchase from Preston Branch
I went to the Preston branch to specifically view an MG3
which was advertised on Autotrader, after a test drive I agreed to purchase the car, collected the car the following week and have driven it for 3 days I am quite pleased with it so far, and the service from Ben has been very good and informative, although I was informed it still was covered by MG by its 7-year warranty MG refute this as they have not serviced it as per purchase requirements, so perhaps the MotorTrust
sales and service and warranty will be honoured.

Rectifying my Review. So since complaining due to my car James has gone above and beyond to help.
Since the DPF was cleaned the cars been spot on. He reimbursed me for the tyres and due to sunroof being an extortionate price he’s given me money back for that.
So thank you James for helping and replying quickly when I had the issues.

Straightforward
No hard sell, given time to look at the car without any pressure and to test drive. Following our decision to purchase, the car was prepped for sale and the transaction was very straightforward.
Agony to ecstasy?
We bought a Vauxhall that turned out to be a complete shed, but Ben and James absolutely looked after us. We ended up buying a slightly more expensive Ford, but it was far better for the money and they moved Heaven and Earth to work with our budget.
We are delighted with our car, and are now looking forward to trying it out the next few days.
Purchased a car recently
Purchased a car recently, initially very good service and communication, sale went through smoothly, did had to over a week wait for car but told it was being serviced and MOT. Sales person was pushing the warranty and now I see why, engine light came on within days of leaving the forecourt, Terrain feature not working, internal LED not working and also missing boot shelf. Had to pay for a diagnostic report and am already considering having to use pay for repairs or try warranty. The car was said to have had a 128pt AA inspection which it clearly didn’t, and was simply told 'fault lights come on all the time with these cars”. Then communication stopped, no returned phone calls, told staff not around, told my email had been passed onto a manager although no response. Company name and glossy website very misleading, basically a group of blue collars guys sat in a Portacabin in the middle of nowhere.

Carl and Mark have made exchanging and buying my new car very easy! Everyone has been extremely helpful, everything was sorted very quickly!
Avoid like the Plague
Purchased a car 2 weeks ago. Within hours it was unable to start due to a faulty key. Eventually later the following day the issue was identified by mobile mechanic. Sump drain plug leaking oil on the driveway due to the pre sale service not replacing the gasket and another oil leak from the gearbox identified by the garage trying to track down the cause of the leaks. We’ve requested to return the vehicle under the 30 day Consumer Rights act 2015 as not of satisfactory quality but Motortrust are not interested. Even denying the act even exists a few times and only offering for us to take it back so they can repair. We’ve supplied an independent garage inspection but Motortrust keep referring back to their AA inspection. Not sure they have any clue on consumer rights as they started off denying we had any right to return, then keep stating no faults existed prior to sale despite one key not functioning from the outset and the engine oil leak caused by their own pre sale service. Also irrelevant as faulty within 30 days regardless. Manager James (who is a master of avoidance over the phone) keeps referring to legislation for vehicles after 6 months of ownership. By now we have zero trust in the car or Motortrust (which is ironic). Reported to trading standards on our behalf and currently pursuing legal action. Personally I would avoid like the plague. Wish we had.

Fantastic
So I bought a car a few weeks ago, Ben was great with the sale.
I did have some issues however the manager James sorted them straight out, even stayed open late so that I could collect my car once I finished work. I couldn’t fault the service and I’m so thankful to both Ben and James , your great guys thank you

Disappointing Experience with…
Disappointing Experience with MotorTrust UK - Broken Panoramic Roof and Poor Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with my recent car purchase experience from MotorTrust UK on July 6th, 2024. Just within few days after purchasing the car, I discovered that the panoramic roof was broken. I immediately contacted MotorTrust UK, and initially, they agreed to replace the roof. However, they have since withdrawn their agreement to replace it without giving a satisfactory reason.
The lack of transparency and poor communication from the team have been frustrating. I expected a higher level of service and quality from a reputable dealership like MotorTrust UK. The fact that they are not honoring their initial commitment to replace the broken roof is unacceptable.
I would advise potential buyers to exercise caution and thoroughly inspect the vehicle before making a purchase. I hope MotorTrust UK takes my feedback seriously and improves their customer service and quality standards.
This review is based on my experience and may not reflect the overall quality of MotorTrust UK's services.
If you want I will send you AA report and MOT status on date February 2024 and I purchased car on June 6 th . Please don’t tell wrong things okay . If you are a manager please behave like that don’t say slanders .
