Enquired about a vw Touareg and…
Enquired about a vw Touareg and explained I could not view until the following weekend they took a holding deposit £200 the in there wisdom got very pushy and got the car ready for me to collect. I decided that I would no longer go and view the car and let them know this asked for the £200 holding deposit back which they have refused saying that I had requested them to not and service the car.
I would never buy or do a deal on any vehicle until I had viewed and driven it.
DONT THINK THEY ABIDE BY THE DISTANCE SELLING RULES BE AWARE

The process of buying the car with Carl was ok due to the fact I wasn't informed much about the car (eg. MOT, servicing history, HPI, how long it's been on the market etc...) until I asked questions.
I was told in the beginning that you test drive the car as it is and if you like it then you let them know all the things that need fixing and the car will be ready to be picked up within 3-4days.
I was supposed to pick up my car within 7 working days because mine needed more work due to a massive scratch on the door. Waited over 2 weeks before I could pick it up and with 2 issues (squeaking driver's seat and driver & passenger side door seals) still not fixed! Both not massively a big deal but I'd rather they have done something about it especially when I've paid nearly £15700 for the car.
Also you have to be cautious because they add another £165 for a vehicle status check to the price!
Had my car for nearly 3 weeks now and they were supposed to provide me with 3 months warranty which never came through despite me chasing them every week and also the promise of the door seals which 'apparently' didn't arrive on time when I picked up the car. Now they have told me that the door seals are on a backlog bla bla bla...
So it's safe to say that this car supermarket treat you fine when you buy a car, but aftersales are an absolute joke and are totally not helpful at all.

The car purchase was successful
The car purchase was successful. The problems started when picking up the car. Missing equipment such as an EV charger, an EV charging cable, and a tow bar were taken from other cars and given to me. Then I found out that I had to pay an additional £199 for car check on top of the price of the car. I would like to mention that I did not order such a service. The seller said everyone had to pay it. You have to be careful because the price of the car in the advertisement is different from the one you have to pay. Then, when picking up the car, my mistake was not checking the second car key. At home I noticed that the extra key was not for my car. I contacted them but they said they received such a set from the previous owner and now it is my problem. The sellers care about you until you sign the papers, then they don't give a damn about you. I have not received any response to my numerous messages. I had to inform my insurer that the seller delivered me a car with one car key. To sum up: if you have to buy a car from them, be careful. They will try to deceive you at every step and then you no longer exist for them. I honestly do not recommend this seller and recommend avoiding him

Here is an insult to my injury. I have explained I had bought a new car in December that was in great condition as described and therefore Nigel’s offer is no good to me therefore I would expect my £200 deposit back into my bank where it came from in the first place (no reply as of yet).Nigel sent me this 21/3/24 (3 months later I am still fighting for my deposit back for a car that wasn’t suitable to drive back to Scotland)

Why don't they want to sell me a car i ask??? After scouring the autotrader website for a bmw520d i came across one advertised by motor trust uk which seemed to fit the bill,so i called for some more information on the vehicle before i visited the site, i spoke to morgan who offerd me a whattsapp video of the vehicle and service history which i thought was brilliant he said he would do it that day by dinner time, it never appeared after making contact again 3 times once with adam and morgan again full of apologies and promised to organise that so i could make my decision to visit the site but it never came even contacting motor trust uk via there website with confirmation emails someone would be in touch...no one has...so why bother to advertise a vehicle if you don't want a customer to purchase it...poor customer service.
A total nightmare service,
A total nightmare service,was told they did a 5 day turnaround to do a list of Jobs they’d said they would complete after numerous phone calls and 12 days later collected car.
The car broke down one hour from collecting,the car started misfiring and engine lights came on,I Rang them and was told that it will be just some dirt in the petrol,I had no choice but to get it fixed had no way of getting it back to them which is 65 miles away.
It ended up being the coil pack,thermostat and housing.
Only for it t0 breakdown again a few days later,this time the sensors needed replacing,plus the car still had original spark plugs from new,so no service had been done of this car,plus the list of jobs never got completed.
Was just a nightmare of phone calls and being ignored.
It was like once they got your hard earned cash they wasn’t interested.
Would of had better service from Boycie.finally after all this time got the car running after weeks of stress

I provided all the documents requested again and again and had many phone calls repeatedly requesting the same documents
Finally signed the finance agreement only to be told the day after they needed more documents!! Sent them all again and still had phone call the next day asking for more. I have now cancelled the car and will be waiting to see if I’m refunded the 200 pound I was charged. I will keep updating on here until I’ve received my refund. 2weeks later and no response. Don’t trust these robbing deceitful people

Started out well
Started out well with James being helpful not over pushy. Once signed on the dotted line all went down hill. Paperwork messed up and despite many calls and false promises that they would sort it. Its still not resolved 6months later. Car has been in the garage for many issues costing over £1000 so far. Since found out others that's had issues with cars purchased from there.
Car after service
Hi, we had a good experience when we visited the showroom.
However the follow up was disappointing.
The full service history could not be verified. Plus there was no evidence of cam belt change, after discussion it was agreed one would be changed and we would share the cost 50-50 and quoted £600. I paid £320 towards the cost.
I needed the invoice for car maintenance history, eventually I received it and it showed cost £320 not £600.so I had paid full amount.
My part exchange car was found to have my keys in it which they found.
However after several months and promises that they would be sent to me I am still waiting for them.
The car is great and it is such a shame the after service let the company down.
From good to very bad
I rated this company 5 for their service. Since then it has gone downhill. Within 1 hour the car developed an adblue fault. Went through the warranty offered with the car and every garage told me they didn't deal with this make of car. £725 later car is repaired. Now after a further month and a half has developed a fault that will cost £1500 plus VAT to repair. Warranty only covers £1k including VAT. Also car is riddled with communication errors on diagnostic which I also have to pay for myself. Looks like they offloaded a very poorly car. Paid £16k for car. Excellent service at front end but proving to be poor.
