Just bought a Mercedes B Class and the car is spot on! My experiance of buying a used car from Motors for You Ltd was by far the best I have had. Duncan made the whole buying experience a breeze. I feel like i have finally found a car dealer who is actually not out to shaft you. gave me a fair price on my part ex, and even contributed to tyres I had fitted the day before. (un heard of !) would highly recommend, great service, totally honest guy and makes you feel at ease.

Duncan is a true find, I was referred to him by a very good friend of mine who knew that I needed his help. Asked to find a specific model with a long list of optional extras Duncan came back with the perfect option within 3 days. He collected it and let us test drive from his base before any money changed hands. Happy with the car Duncan arranged all the transfer arrangements, let us take the car away even before the cheque had cleared. He gave the best price for our part exchange vehicle too. After discovering a slight problem (loose belt) he collected the car from our home got it sorted and returned it the next day. Faultless service. Highly recommend - buy with confidence. We will use him again in the future.

The personal service and customer care Duncan provides is second to none, nothing is too much trouble for him. I've had a lot of cars down the years but my last 2 I've had from this company and I can't imagine buying from anyone else now. Whatever you're looking for in a motor car he will find for you and ensure you are completely happy with it, and not just till you hand your money over either. I recently had delivery of a VW Eos courtesy of Duncan Horton of Motors for You (Nottingham) Ltd. I had asked Duncan to search a car for me with specific requests. I was in no hurry and was happy to wait for the right car which Duncan managed to find. Low mileage very high spec within the price I had suggested. Duncan also took my old car in part exchange. He also secured a service MOT and sorted out the Car Tax for me which was so helpful and took the stress out of buying another car. I cannot praise his courtesy and consideration enough and would strongly recommend his company to anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle.

This must be the 5th car Duggie has provided for our family and we wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Nothing was any trouble for Duncan.

We were in the area and phoned on a Bank Holiday at 5pm. Not only were we delighted that he answered, but he was able to rearrange what he was doing and was able to meet us to show the car.

The car was in excellent condition, cleaned and ready to drive off in (unlike at other dealers we had visited). He went into detail on its history, and at no point made us feel under pressure to buy.

In fact we didn't commit there and then as we needed time to consider.

We kept in touch and were in a position to pay a deposit a few days later, and arranged to collect a couple of days after that.

We had to get the train and, despite being a Saturday, Duncan kindly met us at the station and drove us back to the office to complete the paperwork. The tax had been renewed for us which was one less hassle.

Later that day, Duncan messaged us to make sure the journey back was a good one.

I cannot recommend Duncan enough for the help he gave me whilst searching for a new car. My old car was vandalised and in turn written off by the insurance, but while I was having all this sorted I had to get 2 buses to work. Duncan gave me 2 options of cars within the budget that was suitable for me and the requirements I had and allowed me to test drive it home and bring it back in the morning (when I was back at work) to see if I was completely happy with it. Needless to say I was really happy with it, the car ran lovely even though it was older reg. Everything is immaculate when receiving the car, it came with a full service history, did have some work done to it before I collected it but he explained everything very clearly and nothing was hidden from you. I would certainly use this company again for my next car (fingers crossed I won't need one for a while) and will recommend to friends and family.

I bought a car December 2017 from Motors for you i travelled a hour and a half to trade in and drive home my new car that day. Duncan is a nice genuine guy who can’t do enough for you. I filled in paperwork went for test drive and drove the car home the very same day. I took the car to mechanics in my town had it checked over the next week and they said the car was all good, Duncan told me abouta starting problem when i bought it and he has paid for a new starter motor and glow plugs a month after i had got the car he paid through my local garage over the phone. He dealt with the issue professionally and nothing is too much for him, he replies pretty much when he can it’s never more than 24 hours. Would recommend to anyone, he also filled up the car for me with diesel to get me home the day i bought it.
