I have been in touch with your customer services, a person called Stevie, three times to no avail. They now say it's not our problem, go to the retailer, amazon, who also say it's not their problem.
Googling the issue with the door, it seems that "Because the right side of the door is sitting lower, the right-hand metal hinge arm is almost certainly bent or has slipped completely out of its seating, or the right-hand tension cable has snapped, leaving the left side to bear all the weight."
This is not acceptable in a 2 month old dishwasher. I don't want a repair, I don't want a replacement. I want you to collect it and return my money.
I'm not going to put my phone number on a public forum but you can look up my details on your own customer services email data base and see the communications. Please refund me.

In the last 8 months I adore my new Montpellier appliances ... the MDAWM10 washing machine in sexy shiny black. My adorable black 177 fridge freezer in black with a lovely water dispenser. Love cooking in the built under double oven..the stunning gas on glass hob where I always use each day, the 3g tumble dryer we think is delightful...the lovely Montpellier cooker hood is so amazing..well done Montpellier..if I could give 10 stars I would ...!

Tried to get a repair on a fridge freezer that is out of warranty. They don't have full coverage in Ireland, and a lot of engineers I spoke with won't touch them. Told they don't manufacture themselves, so third party repairers don't know what they are dealing with.
I really don't understand why they sell appliances in a Country and then can't provide after warranty support.

Really fab fridge freezer. Very nice young man at company, but very poor delivery service. Paid to have old item taken away, had to persuade delivery men this was so. Very little help in unpacking, dropped in middle of kitchen floor, then departed. I had to fit it myself into place! I am 78!!! Unfortunately, floor damaged in process. Cost to fix approximately £60!

I reported an issue with the on/off, program and timer buttons on my dishwasher in May this year to Montpellier as it was under warranty. Roll forward to September and the issue continues. During this time, there were delays with parts and then wrong parts being sent to the repair engineer. Once the correct parts eventually arrived, an engineer came out and fitted them, but there doesn’t seem to be much improvement.

In addition to the above delays, Montpellier’s customer service was terrible. I had to constantly call and chase to understand what was going on with my case and no one at Montpellier took ownership of my case, despite being assured that it was being monitored. It clearly wasn’t and I spoke to a different person every time and had to go through the whole saga again and again.

Another problem I encountered was that no one ever called me back, despite being told they would. To raise a complaint, I was told I needed to put it in writing. I sent 3 emails headed as a complaint and I never received a response. I asked for compensation as a gesture of goodwill and was told a director would review and be in touch. I rang several times about this but never received any response and was in fact told that I was unlikely to receive compensation.

Now should Montpellier respond, I dare say they will say they did their best and that they offered me an upgrade of the appliance, which I would need to progress via my insurance company. The problem with this was that when I spoke to my insurance company, they wanted Montpellier to send a report stating the machine couldn’t be fixed and when I spoke to Montpellier again, the gentleman didn’t know what I was talking about. I was going around in circles. It was also going to cost me £200 to install a new appliance and dispose of the old one. This is a lot of money to find considering the dishwasher I had was only 18 months old when the issues started and should had been repairable.

I would never order any appliance from Montpellier again as they are one of the worst companies I have had to deal with and cannot recommend them. It maybe worth paying a bit more if you can for a Siemens or Bosch appliance as their products and customer service has always been excellent in my experience.

Update- I have received a response from Montpellier and have provided them with the personal information requested. This is nothing to do with their repair agents and I feel this is deflection.During the months and months of calls I had with them, I only had to say my name and I was recognised.This just highlights their poor service. Bryan, Stephanie and Rob, the director, were fully aware and apparently monitoring.

Very helpful, prompt with delivery. The only fault was that 1 person only delivered fridge - my husband is 85 so he wasnt able to help.

The machine itself is fine albeit it a bit noisy. However last Saturday it wouldn’t spin so phoned Curry’s as I had a ‘whatever happens’ policy and am paying £5 a month. They told me it was still under the manufacturer warranty and that they had to deal with it. I phoned Montpellier that afternoon and left a message as requested. It’s now Thursday and nobody has phoned me. Had I know this about the curry’s extended warranty I would never have bought this make after reading the reviews on here.

We Bought a 10kg tumble dryer, we were quite keen to buy British and this seemed to fit the bill. Within the first year the machine broke, as it was under warranty and the engineer said it is not worth repairing we got a replacement, now the exact same thing has happened again, and we have been told by Montpellier that they would only honour the warranty date from the original machine, even though we got a full replacement which should still be in warranty. I would not touch this company again with a barge pole. We would have been better off buying some cheap foreign rubbish.

Undercounter larder fridge. First one received - the door didnt shut properly and we often found it part open, there are odd banging noises at random times, ice builds up on back wall, chunks of ice collecting as back drain area. I raised with the retailer who replaced the whole appliance with a new one.

The new one received is still the same except we do now have a door that closes properly. We had thought that the ice issues and bangs might be related to badly fitting door, but it appears not.

After sending a video to the manufactiurer who wete very quick to confirm a fault, and arranged.for me to arrange a refund or replacement of my own choice. This was sorted very easily with the retailer - who could only assume these 2 Monpellier ones were from a faulty batch ?

Overall fristrating, and I chose a different brand - but at least the service I received was good.

Amazong washer nice and quiet machine too.. delivery from ashton t.v was proper good the lads went over and beyond for me..

Extremely disappointed and stressed by the customer service here. I received a cooker through the Blackburn Council Household Support Scheme, and ever since I first got it, the rings have rusted badly and are a nightmare to clean. I initially just tried to get on with it because it came from the support scheme, but the whole thing has just been a terrible experience.The appliance now keeps dangerously tripping my house electrics after about 20 minutes of cooking. Instead of just booking a free engineer visit under my 12-month warranty, the customer support team repeatedly pressured me into running hazardous 25-minute tests at home to force the short circuit and find the fault for them.I actually tried to do the test for them, but I had to stop because leaving a bare, blistering hot ring exposed for over half an hour is way too dangerous in a small flat with four animals. When I explained this, they threatened me with a "no fault found" call-out charge! Forcing a vulnerable customer with severe anxiety to repeatedly blow their main power and leave hot rings exposed around pets is out of order. Threatening me with charges for a genuine warranty issue is absolutely disgusting. Unprofessional and zero care for safety

It's just a really nice fridge freezer, and it's the first time we have purchased this make of fridge freezer.Its really good quality and price, and really quiet and holds it's temperature really well. It's also a really good size.

Have always thought retro fridge freezer means cute curved design and character. The Montleppier so called "retro" FF is basically a standard plain modern fridge box - the only thing "retro" is the handle. Unlike their older designs, that still appear online and that got me confused.

While outer dimensions appeared to be the same as my old fridge from Servus, the inside space is tiny due to verunthock walls - agree with one of the previous comments - "TARDIS in reverse"

Returning it immediately after the purchase.

I bought the Montpellier free standing retro fridge freezer because it looked exactly like the previous fridge freezer I had. I couldn’t find my original which had served me very well.

I was disappointed to find that although the external measurements were the same, the internal capacity was considerably less. Like a reverse Dr Who tardis. The shelves were 5cm shorter in depth. The bottom shelf is wider, but you can’t use all of it because you need to clear the inner door shelf.

The veg drawer is all in one, rather than two compartments. And again, less deep than models with the same external dimensions. 14cm as opposed to 22cm on my previous fridge freezer. The internal fittings are not of the same quality either.

The freezer drawers are also much smaller and the top one can’t open far enough for you to put your hand in to remove anything. You have to take the whole drawer out.

It is quiet I suppose, but the design is not good and from an aesthetic perspective, it is not strictly retro, since the external edges are square rather than rounded.

Very disappointed.

I was dubious about buying a washing machine and tumble dryer from a a company that doesn’t carry a main brand name. One of the reasons for the purchase was matching machines and tumble dryer that wasn’t a Heat pump system. We plumbed them in powered them up and started using them. Can’t fault either machine easy to use and superb washing and drying, + a 2 year guarantee on parts and Labour. And a very reasonable purchase price for both machines. Very happy.

Only just got these appliances got the washer big fridge and small fridge. All are vastly and I mean vastly different colours of cream. Saw another review where someone said the same and the company came back with they mix the paint so shades might not exactly match. My appliances couldn’t be more different. I bought from appliance world £1000+ and my kitchen is completely mismatched. I wish I could upload a pic so you could see! Big fridge is white cream, little is a cooler more blue tint and the washer is custard! Looks like the company just brush this off as no big deal which is ridiculous as it completely ruins the look. Would not have bought if I had know let this be a lesson to anyone reading this.
