I joined MoneyHop after reading all those “positive” reviews — later found out most of them are fake and probably paid! The reality is horrifying. my money got stuck for days, no proper support, only false promises. Their customer care is a joke and stops replying once they have your money.

Please don’t get fooled by fake ratings. Believe the negative reviews they’re the only honest ones here. This app is nothing but a trap. Use only RBI approved banks if you don’t want to lose your money and peace of mind.

moneyHOP can offer solid rates and quick transfers for some—but customer support and reliability seem inconsistent. If you're low-risk and cool with potential hiccups, you might give it a try. But if you absolutely need guaranteed support or flawless execution, you might wanna think twice.

App interface simple hai, aur fast bhi. Transfers complete huye bina kisi problem ke. Better than bookmyforex.

They ruined my international payment. I missed a deadline because of their pathetic service. Disaster of a platform. Full of bugs, zero support, and completely untrustworthy with your money. They should be banned. This company is a total fraud. Nothing works, and your money just disappears.

Very poor performance and lack of accountability. Delayed my refund for days and no contact is answering.

Dont trasfer any money from this hop remit app bcoz they deduct money on indian rupeea also and dollar rupes also.

Don't waste your time or money on this platform, they don't honour the transactions and cancel it 2 days later at their whims, even with all documents provided. Customer care is extremely poor and unresponsive, so you're kept guessing.

I would not use the moneyHOP services after my first experience which was very bad.
On Friday, the 20th October 2023, I signed up and completed all formalities required, including KYC. I followed the instructions and transferred the amount asked by moneyHOP the next day after the usual delay of getting bank's approval. I was asked by moneyHOP to sign the A2 form which I did.
The next day I get a message that my transaction was put on hold because the payment for the transaction was not received! I sent them a message with the screenshot showing that the amount sent by me had been credited by YesBank the previous day. The same evening I got a message to say that the transaction had been cancelled because the payment was not received on time! And if I had indeed made the transaction, it would be refunded to my account in 5-7 days time.
The next morning I sent them a message, expressing my disappointment with the manner they were treating the case. A little later, I got a message telling me that the transaction had been put on hold due to a missing/invalid document (self-attested Aadhar Card not uploaded). I was then asked to create a new transaction. How did they ask me to go ahead with the transaction in the first place if they found an issue with the Aadhar card that I had uploaded?
After I shot back another e-mail, I got a reply to let me know that the transaction had been successfully received and the payment verification was under process (I have no clue what this could mean!). After an hour, I got another message to let me know that the transaction was under process and had been assigned to the respective processing team. Immediately after that, I got an automated message along with the transaction advice.
I waited for 2 more days and noted that no further action had been taken as it still showed that the transaction had been assigned to the respective processing team. I sent a fresh message to ask what was happening. I then got a call from moneyHOP to say that it was delayed due to holidays and festivities and I could expect the transaction to be completed by late evening. I got another message in the evening along with the SWIFT copy to confirm that the transaction had been completed.
I can very well understand that they took over 5 days to complete the transaction because of holidays and festivals. But why not clearly state that instead of trying to mislead by mentioning all sorts of lies (transaction not received, missing/invalid document, cancellation of transaction, payment verification in process, etc.), wasting my time and creating unnecessary anxieties.
From my first experience, I would not recommend anyone to use moneyHOP for sending money abroad.

Gave the required support till the debit success post which the support is off, no one responds to the emails or answers the call. Do not fall for the trap of low fx rate, consider going with a trusted name while making cross border remittances

I sent some money to my husband in Toronto with Hop and had a very pleasant experience. The team was extremely helpful and assisted me with all my queries. The process was simple and straightforward once I understood it. The rate they give is also better than other platforms. Keep up the good work.

My money had not reached on time and I was worried but the support was so great that they made sure they were available all the time and helped through the process
