Jim Philcox of Moloney's is a great estate agent! I have spent 40+ years myself in the property profession and I have to say he is the best agent I have ever purchased a house through. During the whole process he has been courteous, attentive, genuine, honest, thorough and professional. He really understands 'the game' and this has resulted in a smooth transaction where he has truly served his seller at the same time as feeling the vibe of the purchaser. Good after completion follow up too. 100% impressed!!

I'm very grateful to Jim for genuinely listening and caring about my requirements. After 1 viewing he called me back a few days later wanting to show me a property that he felt ticked all my boxes. And he was right. He was attentive and friendly throughout what was a truly positive process.

I would 100% recommend Moloneys to anyone . Working with Jim at Moloneys these past few months has been easy and stress free, he has always been on the end of the phone when needed and made it a very friendly experience.

Having spent from July 2024 to end February 2025 getting an undeveloped piece of land transferred to me, i must say that without Jim Philcox helping well beyond his brief, this transfer would not have been completed today.
His initial involvement in the sale was excellent and he negotiated politely and clearly, once the sale was handed to the solicitors he maintained contact as the process was very slow.
When one of thd buyers reneged on an agreement, threatening the sale he took ownership of the issue through to resolution.
He kept me well informed right up to today when he confirmed that fund transfers had been processed.

If you think estate agents just take a few photos, stick them online and wait for the buyers to roll up, think again.
Whilst this may be all you get with most, Jim Philcox at Moloney's couldn't be more different. He'll actively find you a buyer, if they have a concern, no matter how complex he'll formulated a plan, If your purchase has issues even if he isn't the selling agent, he'll be there with a clear head and a solution.
Jim doesn't sell houses he helps everyone in the chain move on to their new home and start living the dream.

We exchanged contracts on our sale and purchase on Friday 21st February 2025 - all thanks to Jim Philcox! This was by no means a straightforward transaction. It required careful negotiation and detailed coordination with all parties including the lawyers right from the start as there were a number of "unusual" elements, which of course extended the complexity and time to get to the stage we have now achieved. It's no exaggeration to say that this would not have happened without Jim's management and involvement throughout - literally, at times, day and night. We can't thank him enough!
